Same experience as everyone else. I too got scammed by this company (2 faulty segways bought for kids for Christmas) but just wanted to let you all know that because I paid with paypal, I got a full refund and it only took about 8 or 9 days from the day that I started the complaint. The fact that I returned only the 2 segways and not the go kart attachments (I still have them) means I've actually come off better off. Haha f*** you Go Hoverboard 馃ぃ

I checked the reviews on their website (which I realise now were all fake!) and purchased a hoverboard at Christmas to take advantage of the sale. I bought it on behalf of my elderly aunt for my partner's birthday. I tried to contact the company countless times by email and phone to no avail and have been battling with my bank (Nationwide) to raise a charge back. Apparently the fact that the company has disappeared is not good enough – they asked me to pay to get the item checked! I advised that I was within my rights to change my mind and return the item within 30 days regardless of whether or not it was faulty, the fact that I was unable to do so was not my problem. Fingers crossed that the chargeback will be initiated next week and I can get my aunt's money back for her.

Get intouch with your BANK & explain sitiation so you can raise a dispute but u av to have all emails reciept of buyin product etc.. ive jus got my money back. Thank god !! 馃槈

same bad service as everyone else. I returned a hoverboard at my expense and have received am email saying my refund will be posted in a few days. this was probably 6 weeks a go now and still no refund. no reply to further emails and simply no response. paypal won't help me either. does anyone know where these people reside. I am beyond trying to get help now. if anyone has legitimate details of an office or warehouse where I can find these scammers then please post on here. I'll be there the next day

Hello my fellow Gohoverboard scam sufferers. Like many of you I purchased a hoverboard from these bas**rds for my grandsons Christmas present at a cost of 拢130. It worked fine for a bit but a few weeks ago it failed to re-charge. I tried to contact gohoverboard albeit unsuccessfully. I now realise that they have ceased trading as gohoverboard.co.uk but have set themselves up in other website dot forms.. I have done a bit of an investigation of my own and taken the hoverboard apart. These products are ultra cheap Chinese copies with inferior internal components.. mainly the 36volt battery pack.. (which could catch fire) but also the 3 control PCBs which are also cheap and nasty copies. My advice to anyone wishing to purchase from these a**holes is to AVOID THEM LIKE THE CORONA VIRUS if you have already bought a product from them the best thing you can do is take it to the nearest re-cycling depot..

Wish I'd seen all these reviews before Christmas. I too purchased a hoverboard bundle for my lad and after 20min of use it was dead and wouldnt recharge. Been emailing since boxing day and the email address is now not in use. My.lad is so upset. How can people be so heartless to innocent children 馃が馃が

More of the same unfortunately, bought two bundle packages 拢379.98 for my twin boys for Christmas and birthday. Needless to say the first one just stopped working, won't charge or turn on at all. Was optimistic about the second one but sadly this one is also faulty. No reply to several emails, phone calls, letters. Boys are devastated. Hoping to try and get my money back from my credit card and will be reporting to trading standards.

So after trying to find a contact number after finding the website for this company having disappeared it seems there are many of us who've been had! Received a different board as to that ordered (not major issue as a decent design). Thankfully ours has been working OK, until 2 weeks ago one side of the lights has stopped working. Guess we should be greatful the hover board still moves having read other responses but still not good enough. At least no one can order from that website now but how do we know where is reliable to purchase from?!

Mine didn't arrive which I suppose is a blessing given some of the horror stories other people have written with boards being dangerous and them not accepting returns. At least I have a chance of getting my money back as I paid through PayPal although frustrating having to wait weeks for a refund. They have taken the Gohoverboard.co.uk site down now but just noticed they have relaunched under Gohoverboard.net , same website – phone number doesn't work either but presumably payment will still be taken. Please don't buy anything from the new site, hopefully you will have read the reviews first.

So I brought a hoover board for xmas for my son like everyone else from this company, I was sent the totally wrong colour(but I didn鈥檛 mind as it was blue camo so I left it). It will not charge one side of the board is continually flashing red the cable seems very poorly made and didn鈥檛 fit the charging point correctly it seems, I have tried a totally new charging cable brought at my own expense but still isn鈥檛 charging. I have contacted the company to which they do not reply to my emails nor phone calls. Total SCAM!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Normally I dont use reviews however I feel people need to know that this company are terrible. Bought a package hoverboard and go cart . Battery only lasts 7 mins. I have tried calling, emailing, sent the usual customer feedback however they never respond..

Same as everyone else! Brought 2 hoverboards and cart packages for my twins for xmas. They dont work so I鈥檓 now down 拢440! Absolutely ruined xmas morning for my girls and been trying to contact them since the 1st email i sent on boxing day. Not an amount of money I can afford to waste! Now no phones or emails work 🙁
UPDATE!!!! I contacted my bank and have had my money returned even though i paid on a debit card!!! Contact your bank dont let them get away with this!!!
They now have another website with a new phone number !!

Shocking!,,,,, hover board purchased for Christmas- clearly second hand and did not work from the start sent back as instructed. Now mid Feb no refund no contact and there website Gohoverboard has magically disappeared plus the email address does not work. Absolute scam stay away they also trade under timeless trading so watch out

This company has been horrendous…
They have been dodgy from the very beginning I've lost 拢139.99 and after returning the faulty hoverboard which was a Christmas present they are not even replying to any of my messages..
I have informed trading standards but wouldn't advise anyone to use this company..

This company are awful, I have an open claim with Paypal so am hoping they will refund through them, I brought my son a board and cart for xmas, it worked for 15 mins then stopped. I sent it back via the company they asked me to thankfully I got the return signed for. Paypal are hoping to get a resolution by 15th, however with the amount of phone calls and emails I have sent to them direct im not holding out much hope. if it doesn't get resolved I will be taking legal action. however; I feel we are all in the same boat and will get no where.
***UPDATE*** I got my money back through Paypal. thank goodness I opened a claim through them – paypal were great. Go Hoverboard have failed to make contact with them as well

Absolutely keep away from these bunch of scammers!!!! Bought a hoverboard bundle for my son for Xmas only charges up to 40 % we paid by PayPal there just as useless as go hoverboard!!!! They want us to send it back to Holland because that鈥檚 there main address bearing in mind no one wants to deliver it because of it lithium battery and they want 拢110 to ship it over I am not willing to pay that as it cost us 拢 250 got hoverboard we ring PayPal constantly get nowhere with them and go hoverboard never answers anybody with any advice would be grateful do as it stands I have a devastated little boy and hundreds out of pocket!!!! Stay away from these faudsters
