The company behind go-ferry.com is travel agent travaela.com in Cyprus.
In my book, both companies are thieves that extort clients by charging 40 per cent or more extra on regular selling prices of ferry tickets. How can they justify 40 per cent – not 5, 10 or 20% but forty!!!???
I booked by mistake through them. You see, their SEO feeds off google searches for Hellenic Seaways, the company I normally book with.
Instead of 鈧?02 I paid over 鈧?40 for 2 return tickets Piraeus – Poros.
To make matters worse, they don't give you a valid ticket but just a notice which you need to print off and exchange for a ticket at the port on the day. Service, anyone???
Yes, you pay exorbitantly more for no service what so ever.
I asked for a refund directly from travaela.com, but was told to do so through go-ferry.com. I refused since this would mean I have to pay cancellation fees as per their website on top of the hiked price!!!
Thieves, right?
Avoid them, or lock them up if you can.
By the way, they don't deserve even one star as a rating.

Don鈥檛 waste your money. It鈥檚 cheaper to get the tickets direct from the provider – like 20鈧?less per ticket. Then they don鈥檛 offer eticket, so you have to pick up from
