WARNING!!! DO NOT Rent from GOAL PROPERTIES if you want your security deposit back and an added bill. They will purposely scam you by adding as much as they can find in the house to your MOVE OUT CALCULATION at the end of your contract so you don't get a dime back. If you complain that it's not true or correct and there is proof, it will not get resolved due to their poor customer service,.not only in your local state but Corporate. Also they will tell you that the OWNER of the house WILL NOT APPROVE your complaints of the charges bc it's up to them and not up to Goal Properties since they just contract through the owner of the house. My whole complaint with BBB on 4/23/20, the next complaint down will show you my interaction with Corporate, J. Colsen and J. McCart property manager of Indianapolis, IN. I emailed J. Colsen about my complaint about Goal Properties in Indianapolis East St charging me outrageous charges to our move out calculation on March 24. Dealt will Jason McCart for a month with not returning calls or taking care of the issue so I put my complaint on BBB April 23. After 3 calls explaining the whole situation and 2 emails, J. Colsen in Corporate called me June 11 to say after reviewing all the pictures of the house and speaking to the owner that they will not give you any of my security deposit back which was $1,545. He said we have to go by what the owners tell us even though it was not in the contract that the owners normally take $150 out of my security deposit for another cleaning after I moved out 2 days early to clean the house and make sure everything was move in ready for next person. THAT WAS NOT IN CONTRACT! Also they charged us $1200 to paint WHOLE HOUSE which was NOT IN THE CONTRACT that if there is a scuff on a wall or if you try to cover up a small hole with the closest paint color,(which is what they tell you to do) they will not only charge you for the 1 wall but will tell you they have to paint all 4 walls in that room and then tell you that since a few walls were touched up in a tiny area and the paint didn't match exactly that they have to PAINT THE WHOLE HOUSE. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Who is this rental company and why are they still in business cheating out their GOOD CUSTOMERS. We rented 1 year and we have to paint the whole house before we move out or they will charge us in the end??? They charged us for a old garage entry door that was already damaged when we moved in and it got worse as we lived there due to open and close and kept splitting so they said it looked like we broke in to the garage entry door…got charged $250 for the door?? Let me tell you I have looked at all the reviews on BBB in our state and others and there are many complaints just like mine! They will KEEP YOUR MONEY AND HOPE YOU FORGET ABOUT THE COMPLAINT BC IT WILL TAKE SO LONG. We moved out March 13th and Finally after many emails of not responding like J McCart said he would and J. Colson said he would and would take several weeks, I was very patient even though pandemic and those excuses, that finally guess what…on June 11th I got a call and said I'm sorry but there isn't anything we can do bc the owners won't approve your complaints for taking all your security deposit even though J. Colsen in corporate agrees that it's not fair from looking at pictures and contract. He said there is issues with contract that the company is trying to work out bc of all the complaints they are getting so I GET NOTHING, NO SOLUTION, NO REFUND OF ANY SORT. I told J. Colsen in corporate I would be putting another negative review after waiting 3 months for an answer just for I'm sorry we can't give you any money back.

Rental company is just here to take your money. Do not rent from them. You've been warned.
