GO Rentals New Zealand

This company will charge you a 10% cancellation fee during Covid-19 when we have no other option as New Zealand is in lockdown and we simply CANNOT travel.
I manage a car rental company in Australia and we have cancelled all bookings without fee as it is beyond the customer's control.
Thank you for my "future credit" but seriously, have a think about the loss of customer's you will experience due to this absolute greed.

Easy to deal with.cant fault

Very good experience. Not the cheapest on the online market but decided to take a chance after reading reviews. Staff were polite and accommodating on the phone. Process of renting, acquiring and returning the vehicle was smooth without hiccups. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe was a joy to drive. Will definitely recommend.

I have found one of the best car rental place's in nz and would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone… staff go out of their way to help you and answer questions you may have. It is my fourth time with Go rental's and will continue to use them in the future.

The process of booking online was really easy. Checking in via the app was easy too, and made everything so simple when I got to picking up the car. The car itself was exactly what I had asked for and in great condition. The shuttle service that picked me up from the airport was fantastic. Took away any stress about getting to the rental site. The shuttle driver was lovely and super friendly. Dropping the car back was stress free as well. No drama from start to finish.

It used to be a great company but unfortunately it has gone down the hill. They have certainly lost my business. Go Rentals has been charging fees they are not entitled to claim. Following my today's experience with Jiten Patel of Go Rental I will no longer use their services but also I will be making a complaint to the New Zealand Commerce Commission for falsely claiming that I have damaged the vehicle. I would no longer recommend Go Rental to anyone. Thanks Will for getting in touch. The branch manager did email me, however, he did not offer any meaningful resolution. I am still being occused and charged for pre existing damage. This matter is not about money just the principle of it and being left with a feeling of treated unfairly.

Go Rental is the best car-rentals in New Zealand. All the staff are excellent and accommodating the needs well to the customers, and more importantly, all the staff are professional (Meet Mr David in Auckland Branch who will assist you with everything)
Go Rental created everything user-friendly and compare to all the car rentals in New Zealand Go Rental is the cheapest. All the vehicles are pretty much brand new condition and well cleaned. I am continuously using Go Rental vehicles for all my trips and never had an issue at all.

Paul, our friendly customer representative at ChCh have us brilliant service, with a free day pass to My Hutt and all the info we needed to ensure we made the most of our Go rental and our holiday in NZ.

Very impressed with the service and the quality of the car, even though it was six years old.

Have been using Go Rentals for a few years now, haven鈥檛 had a bad experience yet.

This was my second time with Go Rentals in NZ and the reason I repeated despite all the choices was their wonderful customer service the first time. First time I had rented from Queenstown, this time from Christchurch. It was a great experience once again. Add to that – No hidden fees, easy to use app and peace of mind renting the vehicle and interacting with the representatives. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from the time we were picked up to when we dropped the rental car off and jumped on the shuttle to the airport the customer service rep when we picked up the rental was excellent made the transition smooth and easy the shuttle drivers were so nice and helpful would highly reccomend to anyone wanting to use a rental service and I'll be definitely using again thankyou so much go rental 🙂

We have been using Go Rentals for our south island ski trips for several years now. As repeat customers they look after us very well. Our cars are always in great condition and we always get what we want. They have a good range of vehicles. We thoroughly recommend Go Rentals to anyone needing to rent vehicles.

Very good rental car from Queenstown to Auckland. New car, easy check in and drop off. Good shuttle service.

Only sad thing was the offer in Queenstown to pay upfront for the fuel at drop off. Fuel is Auckland was 鈥榤ore expensive鈥?in Auckland than in Queenstown according to the Queenstown employee. Total lie, the fuelprices in Auckland were lower than in Queenstown.

The car we rented was almost new and very clean. The shuttle van arrived promptly and it is a very short drive to the rental office. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pricing was very competitive and I would have no problem using GO Rental again.
