Went to sign up but got a ball dropped. the customer service said my sister already had a membership in the household (and there was only one that was allowed in each household to have a membership). That even includes when family refers to family living in same household. So basically until sister cancels, I can鈥檛 get one. What kind of rule is that ? Oh well no love lost! Should鈥檝e read complaints and that鈥檚 my fault . Just thought I would give a try since I buy Disney movies all the time Disney Movie Club. ??鈥嶁檧锔?

If you read the materials carefully you get what you are promised. After completing my commitment and reaching VIP status I tried to call to simply stop the ridiculous "selection of the month" where they ship and bill what they want to send if you don't respond. Toll free numbers only had menu selections and I couldn't break the code on how to talk to a live person. I sent emails asking them to call but they didn't.

My experience was that they do provide mail, internet, and phone options for declining the selection of the month. I have two occasions where selection of the month didn't come in the mail so I just logged in every 3 weeks just to stay on top of "decline selection." You will perpetually have to stay on top of this.

Long story short, they won't stop the "selection of the month" after you fulfill purchase commitment. In my case they abruptly cancelled my VIP Membership just because I asked for the "selection of the month" to stop so I have lost discounted ordering privileges.

I think a lot of sales are generated by shipping out product not ordered which is why; a) the selection of the month is shifted where they aren't on a regular monthly date and b) you can't stop the selection of the month and the friendly DMC goes very unfriendly if you approach this topic.
