Melanie advised us that those guys were very reliable for safari in Tanzania.
Melanie get us the contact of Daniel and the link. Communication with Gnu is quick and smooth. The first person sent us safari proposal that was also about wishes. We had few alterations before they sent us the safari contract. Daniel took care and arranged everything for us, so today we can recommend Gnu with big heart.
We were 4 people born in Germany living in USA. A family with kids, comfort accommodations was our choice and all booked by Gnu. The company advised us to book our flights to arrive at JRO airport.
We meet Ema at the airport. Ema drove us to our rooms at Kigongoni lodge, the lodge is cool by the hill surrounded by small coffee farms. We had great dinner and breakfast from charming staffs.
Daniel introduce us to Frank, the jungle master who took us in the perfect corner of the parks.
Their safari vehicle is impeccable land cruiser with spaced seats in all 8 windows and open up roof which is very safe and helpful for photography inside the bush. It should be terrible inside the wildness with leopard hang on acacia trees and cheetah inside the tall grasses of Serengeti, this is perfect car for safari.
We saw many animals, my youngest kid Stewart really enjoyed the tall giraffes feeding up branches effortlessly inside Tarangire. We had great moment inside the magical crater of Ngorongoro, the crater itself and the big animals second. Thank you Frank for such great knowledge. He got us everything we had dreamed effortlessly.
We took our second night at Maramboi tented camps, the lodge has a great view and surrounded by zebra. The third and fourth nights took place at Kati Kati Tented ,simple tents with all facilities at the mid of serengeti. All facilities were nice.
