I'm not a German speaker, I've signed for free-email account at GMX, send an email to support to change to language to English- no answer.

Then after a while I've got a bill of 40euros for things I never asked or signed for!

Contacted the support again – no reply until 1 month or more.

I ignored them then got mail from Inkasso to pay more.. Now I'm gonna see a lawyer to solve all of this ! Scammers..

Haben die eigentlich immer noch den Button mit "AGB best盲tigen" bei dem man sich gleich Premium f眉r 3 Monate sichert? 😀
Wie dem auch sei, meine Erfahrungen mit GMX sind schlecht. Vor allem die Spamflut in meinem Postfach, obwohl die E-Mail-Adresse noch nicht mal verwendet wurde, verwundert mich. Verdient da United Internet etwa mit?

Spam host. MX blocked by some ISP. Some claim that they also host legitimate email.

Ein toller Mail-Anbieter,der Spam in eigener Sache k枚nnte jedoch etwas weniger sein.

GMX is a free E-mail provider.
That's the good side.
The company tries to push Pro abonnements to you, sometimes hidden as birthday present, sometimes as anything they can imagine that day.
Even if you're saying no thanks all the times, klicking away those "offers" every week, one day they'll still send you a bill for services never taken.
This is not a single case, it happens quite regularly (do a goodle search!). It's a common practice, sadly not only at GMX.
Well, if you ignore this email or write the support that you've never taken any services (this feedback will be ignored), they send you a second one, signed by an incasso company, raising the costs from about 15鈧?to 80鈧? This happens a third time, where you'll finally have to pay around 150鈧?
Still ignoring/complaining at GMX, they tell you that the process of collecting money is now in the hands of the incasso company, GMX itself is not handling the process anymore. Requesting data with the incasso company, no reply.
In the end, they close your account, for not paid bills, for services you never took.
All your emails and adresses gone.
Of course you never hear from that incasso company again.

Let it be a lecture, choose a free email provider which is not famous for those kind of practices (theres plenty out there!), save yourself time and nerves.

Can not recommend GMX to anyone, advertisement en masse, inapropriate treatment of customers, no support at all. Stay away!

Der kostenlose Emaildienst ist nicht schlecht, aber die viele Werbung kann einen schon nerven – und das neue Design finde ich ganz furchtbar, st盲ndig wird hier verschlimmbessert…

Hier kann man zum Beispiel freie SMS verschicken.

e-mail wurde ohne meiner schuld gehackt, man bekommt spam ohne ende, und support? kann man vergessen!!! nicht zu empfehlen!

Guter Freemailer mit vielen Funktionen. Allerdings kann man leicht in die kostenpflichtige Alternative geraten.

Als kostenloses Email-Angebot ist gmx in Ordnung. Aber sowohl die viele (und teilweise lautstarke) Werbung nervt extrem. Zudem wird man immer dazu verleitet, ein kostenpflichtige Abo abzuschlie脽en.

Ich nutze nur das kostenlose Angebot und habe bis dato damit noch keine Probleme gehabt. Allerdings nerven die vielen versuche, einen zu einem kostenpflichtigen Vertrag zu f眉hren, schon.

Ich nutze nur den kostenlosen Dienst und bin damit wirklich zufrieden. Lediglich die lauten Werbevideos sind st枚rend.

Die Popups und vor allem die Werbevideos, die mit einer wirklich unertr盲glichen (man denke an Kopfh枚rer…) Lautst盲rke losgehen st枚ren wirklich ungemein!

Nutze gmx-Freemail seit Jahren und war insgesamt ganz zufrieden – allerdings muss ich leider auch einigen Kommentaren hier zustimmen: Es ist wirklich recht viel Werbung und der Spam-Filter nicht optimal. 脺berlege gerade, zu nem anderen Anbieter zu wechseln.

Der gmx.de-Navigator (eine Pflicht-Toolbar am oberen Rand) nervt. Ebenso die "Geschenke", die sich als Abo-Vertr盲ge entpuppen.

Lange dabei und zufrieden
