Sam is the best. I haven't studied math in over a decade and have tons of math anxiety. I started studying GMAT math on my own and felt totally overwhelmed and it reminded me of trying to understand math in high school/university and scraping by with a low grade and tons of sadness and stress.

I contacted Sam and he responded super quickly and started tutoring me. It鈥檚 such a world of difference- we鈥檙e able to work at my pace and Sam explains things in multiple ways until they make sense to me. The curriculum is completely tailored to the student so I can spend lots of time on the hard stuff and skip over the few things I remember, He鈥檚 super kind and patient, and assigns a good amount of homework so even if you have a session once or twice a week, there鈥檚 enough material to be working at it every day so it鈥檚 almost like paying for one session really means a week of programming.

Now I feel like I get math in a way I never have before. I thought I didn鈥檛 have a 鈥渕ath brain鈥?but Sam has proven that wrong. I actually have started to look forward to learning new concepts and can see math in a totally new light. My math anxiety is gone and I feel like I can tackle the GMAT without the fear I had before. I was referred to Sam by one of my friends, who took GMAT lessons with him. I am a final year Ph.D. Student in Biology. Sam is hands down the best tutor I could ever ask for to prepare me for the GRE. He broke all sections of the exam into bite-sized easily digestible lessons on every conceivable concept you might expect to see on the GRE. I took Sam鈥檚 assistance for the verbal portion of the GMAT. Before attending his sessions, I extensively studied for about a year, took two online prep courses, and have used several prep books, though all these were not working out for me. Beyond being an amazing teacher, Sam is just an altogether incredible person. My work schedule is intense, which requires me to be efficient in my GMAT preparation. Prior to starting my GMAT lessons with Sam, I took an expensive prep course, but it didn鈥檛 work for me. Due to his awareness with the prep course鈥檚 curriculum, Sam designed a study plan that built on prep course鈥檚 curriculum.
