Heartbroken that my niece's Christmas present which was sent on 07 December 2020 from Ireland to UK never arrived. One of the items was unique and cannot be replaced. Customer service Ireland said parcel had left and was in UK – UK said it was not there. Parcel lost and 124 Euros down the drain. I did insure the parcel however items were bought over time during 2020 and did not keep till slips. Bitterly disappointed. I still want this parcel found.

Ordered parts from Germany to Ireland, delivery time 3 weeks and counting. seriously i think i could send a letter to new Zealand back in 1930s faster then today gls can move a parcel 1000km. 0/5 terrible service if possible do avoid

I just called Customer Service and my experience was absolutely amazing. Carlie was extremely helpful and not only did she help me with my current issue – the tracking data was showing that the package left France twice and then arrived to France once – but also explained what to do if there were further issues on this coming Monday.
The experience was lovely and she answered all my questions and insured that I knew that I can call back and ask for further assistance, this has honestly been my best interaction with Customer Service I have ever had.
Just read the rules and realised I can't really include the initial of her last name for privacy sake, but if you're reading this: Thank you!

Shockingly bad, ordered something on the 26th of November. Went to track my package last week to see where it is, and it says delivered… which it wasnt 馃し鈥嶁檪锔?so I ring their customer support spend 30 minutes on hold before getting cuts off, round 2 spent 25 minutes on hold before getting threw.. then i get told that they have lost my package and that i shall not be getting it, it was marked as delivered by mistake.. they had no intention of contacting me about this.. so I ask for proof of this in writing, I'm reassured it will be emailed to me straight away.. the next day still no email, round 3 of ringing spend 45 minutes on hold but get threw to a very nice and helpful person they tell me the same information however they makes sure I have got the email.
Shocking company to just loose my package worth (鈧?50) and then mark it as delivered without contacting me or notifying anyone of their mistakes

I made an order in November through a company using GLS as their delivery service. On the day of my 'delivery', I received an email to notify me of the packages being on their way and then them having been delivered, except they weren't.
I contacted GLS straight away to see was there a mistake. I waited for 25 mins on the phone over the course of two attempts calling them. I eventually got through and asked what the issue might be. After some investigating on their end I was told that my packages have not been delivered to my address (of course), that my phone number has been sent to the driver and that the driver has 3 days to resolve the issue with me, with a fairly abrupt hanging up. Even though the issue was between GLS and their driver, not me.
2 days later I receive a phone call from the owner of a petrol station 5km from my house to let me know that some packages were left outside there. He said he assumed the delivery company had not told me they were there. He also said that he had walked out to find them blocking the doorway outside the petrol station with no knowledge as to what the packages were, or why they were there. The driver had not only not delivered them to the address I had given, nor had they delivered them into the petrol station, they had dumped them outside the door of the petrol station and drove off. The owner of the shop knew my surname, which he saw on the packages, which was why they were happy to take them in and store them, without question. I was fortunate for this, as anyone could have stolen them from the door of the shop. Also, in an email sent to me by the company I had ordered from, after I had contacted them, I was told that GLS had been in contact with the company and that GLS had said they had been in touch with me (they had not). It was about an hour after that email until I actually received a call from the driver. So, GLS had actually mislead the company I ordered from, to believe the situation was under control on their end, when it wasn't, on top of everything else.
The worst delivery company I have ever come across.

Awful service. Been waiting on my delivery for 4 weeks now. Tried ringing them on 9 different days so far. Goes to voicemail, tells me that their offices are closed. This was the only option available for delivery from the retailer I purchased from, so I鈥檒l be sure to leave a S**t review for them too. It鈥檇 arrive sooner if it was strapped to a carrier pigeon. This review is getting mailed to GLS too, so fu*k you guys.

If I could insert zero stars, I would. Worst company ever. My package is still in the shop and I dropped it there 10 days ago. It was written 5-8 days. I am trying to contact them via phone or via email, with no success. I will try to see if I can get back my package. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE, I am warning you.

useless never got parcel from germany. but you know what i got a refund from the company i bought from. i guess they will use another company from now on and if is see gls as a partner on some website i'll ditch the shopping basket and buy elsewhere it's as simple as that.

Like most people reviewing GLS these past few days, if I could give them 0 stars I would. I'm devastated not to have received my package yet, a package that was being sent from Dublin 18 to Dublin 14 has some how found itself "in transit" to a parcel hub for 5 days… Their website gives absolutely no indication as to what happens when a parcel is delayed, they have absolutely no information regarding delivery hours. If you ever manage to get through on the "service" line you receive answers that are equally as vague as the website "you might get it you might not who can say?". I've ordered plenty of packages within the last week some coming from EU some from UK and all have arrived in as little as 2 days.. but the one coming from 20mins away (had I been able to go and get it myself I would have) is still lost in transit.. Horrible horrible service.

Disgusting service. Gls have had the package since the 9th. Parcel left the UK on 14th, Today is 21st. No update on whereabouts of parcel. Told they don't know what trailer it was loaded onto, so no way of knowing where it is but "its is delayed and will be processed when it arrives". Will not admit to losing the parcel. 7 days from the UK to Ireland whereabouts unknown sounds like lost to me!. Seems like Christmas 2020 will match the rest of the year, thanks for that GLS.

Ive emailed twice (no response) and I鈥檝e called 3 times asking for an update on a package that鈥檚 severely delayed. Often the call doesn鈥檛 go through which was explained to be because the company only has 25 phone lines which can be filled with people in the queue.
I was told 3 times the warehouse manager would personally receive a copy of my order request to go out the next day 鈥?still no hint of the delivery. Despite being alerted multiple times that I would be leaving the country shortly, and them repeatedly breaking promises to have the delivery complete, they would not hold on to the package until my return in 10 business days (their policy is 6 business days).

F#%king joke of a company they have my parcel in a trailer on the loading bay since Tuesday 15 December rang them and they said id get it today still not here as yet. The guy said too me on the phone yesterday there back logged and i replied too him it's not a free service i have paid good money and don't see how it my problem there busy 3 weeks now wait for a parcel from the uk joke if they can't handle the work stop taken it on all the other company like dhl ups and fedex anpost are the same but there get it done any company using G.L.S should find a company or they lose business

Out package with important business media is stuck in uk since 04/12/2020, GLS customer care have no answers where is the parcel and when it will be delivered or even why it's delayed for more than a month… They try to blame this on covid-19… This company should be put out of business… Nothing but bunch of rude liars…

I arranged for a parcel to be picked up for delivery to the UK on Thursday 10/12/20. Was told it would be collected on Friday the 11/12/20. Was not collected. Rang every day and was guaranteed it would be picked up the next day. Still not picked up a week later. I cancelled it and sent it via DPD.

Waiting on an important Christmas gift I ordered on the 1st of December, it's stuck in the final parcel centre. I contacted them through 'contact form' as I couldn't get through on the phone. They emailed me saying my parcel hasn't left the UK and to get a back up plan, so incredibly disappointed.

I would strongly recommend not using GLS or any company which uses GLS. In my case, Royal Mail passed my parcel to GLS. I had never heard of them and was concerned by their awful reviews. My very poor experience was similar to that described by others. GLS held my parcel for 10 days in their Dublin Depot. I rang them 4 times during this period to be told twice that my parcel would be delivered the next day, which it wasn't. The GLS tracking system kept stating that my parcel was expected to be delivered that day, but it wasn't. After 10 days, my parcel eventually arrived. As per other reviews, my parcel had been opened. Thankfully, the item was undamaged.

Highly disappointed with GSL service quality. My parcel is in UK since 5'th of December. 10 days without any update!!! No answer from GSL UK, GSL Ireland just informed me that they didn't receive it, so they don't give a ****… This is a pure joke, not the serious company.

I鈥檓 absolutely disgusted with this company. My parcel was meant to arrive last Saturday. It was only out for delivery three days ago, and every single day they couldn鈥檛 deliver due to 鈥渢raffic problems鈥? I鈥檓 without wifi now due to this terribly company, but what if I had medication I was sending via GLS and needed them to live? I鈥檓 honestly so appalled by the customer service here.

The worst company in the world.My parcel arrive in Ireland 7 days ago.I didnt get any news since3th December. Why?No update in the gls system.I order around 3 parcels every month. Every second parcel is kept in the company for week .Why?I'm waiting for my 2 parcel and that's it. Never ever Gls.I can pay more for delivery but I need company who treat customers properly.
