Worst delivery company. Loosing parcels all the time and doing nothing to help you find them. Impossible to contact them. Terrible service!

Short version: GLS somehow managed to "lose" FOUR 21" tires and then jerked me around for over a week trying to get them to respond to the original shipper. Meanwhile, fabricated and misleading information is posted in the tracking, and even a week after they claim the packages were "lost," the tracking info keeps showing there's a delivery coming.

Their customer service agents (on the rare occasion you can reach one) are rude, and really don't like being called out for dishonesty, but the proof is in the article above. Bottom line: Find another shipping company. These guys are clowns.

A company that doesn't even have a contact number.

it鈥檚 coming to 1 whole week since I placed the order and according to the tracking number the parcel is still sat in a warehouse in Germany and is not ready to be delivered.

The GLS website advises delivery times in Europe are generally between 24 and 96 hours.

The registered package showing my name and address was delivered to another property and there was no notification card left at my address.
Is GLS Group fully aware of the risk to the security of my mail if their people do not deliver to the correct address and the obvious inconvenience this will cause to both the intended and incorrect recipients? It is important that their customers have confidence that GLS will always deliver the mail to a secure and high standard.

GLS damaged the parcel
GLS didn鈥檛 deliver the parcel, but returned it back to sender, damaged repacked in different box, with missing items and damaged items. I contacted gls slovakia customer service, who were Really rude and unprofessional and they asked for the claim form to be filled in online. They wouldn鈥檛 provide any info how did the damage the parcel, why it looked like the trash bin and why was parcel sent between Hungary and Germany 3 times forth and back. They simply declined the claim blamed me that parcel was incorrectly wrapped. My question is why was parcel collect by gls driver and why he didn鈥檛 refuse it ad it states on their collection slip, that driver is only allowed to collect correctly wrapped parcels. GLS don鈥檛 value the customers, all they are interested in is your money, customer service employees are very unprofessional and try to get yo off the phone as soon as possible.

Scam?
On every occasion that GLS have been responsible for delivering packages to my address I have had the same problem. I receive text messages stating that the package could not be delivered because additional address information is required, despite the fact that my postal address is complete. The texts direct me to a website, inviting me to modify my address. No modifications of delivery instructions are possible on the website without the reference number of the delivery failure docket, known in France as the "Avis de Passage", which is placed in the letterbox when delivery can not be made. As no attempts were made to deliver, this reference number does not exist. Telephone calls to the number provided in the text messages were never answered. Today I finally received a delivery from a UK company that contains smashed glass jars of curry paste. I am beginning to suspect that GLS is a scam, and that their telephone number is a premium line. I have no evidence for this, beyond the fact that no company that provides a service of such incompetence, and that consistently lies to it's customers, could possibly remain in business without another income stream. In the future, for any orders orders that I make, I shall enquire whether the company uses GLS / Parcelforce. If so, I will not complete the order.

So far I have never had a parcel from GLS delivered to my residence. This last time, once again, the tracking says that I wasn't home and it's time-stamped on a day when I was home all day. The website says there will be a card in the mailbox indicating an attempted delivery. I have also never seen evidence that this exists. Maybe all the courriers are bad, but my experience is that GLS takes it to a new low.

Worst parcel delivery service ever. Most times, they don't even pretend to try to deliver and they don't even bother to stick the notification paper of a failed delivery attempt to the door. Customer Service does not deserve this name, they are worse than the drivers.

GLS should not be allowed to run this business as they just don't do what they get paid for.

I sent a parcel to Portugal with important medication packed in and all the tracking kept saying was the parcel was at the final delivery centre for nearly 3 weeks. You couldn't get though to anyone on the phone or email. Finally my dad who lives in Portugal found an address of a warehouse in Loule, off they went to find out it had closed 2 years earlier. Another name on the poor reviews he was coming across was the other side of Faro, so yesterday off they went and found it eventually and lo and behold the parcel was found eventually and handed over.
This service is absolutely appalling, you pay for it to be sent tracked and signed for from the UK – you would expect it to be delivered to the address on the parcel, I for one would not expect to have to drive round the Algarve trying to find it and collect it myself after nearly 3 weeks.

Honestly, this company employs delivery guys who do not care about your time and simple send you notification that the delivery is coming then you wait for it aaaand it never comes and the delivery guys always use one excuse saying the address was not valid. I will choose competitors such as DPD as this is total disrespect to customer. However, after i contacted customer service they resumed everything and i got the package in matter of an hour.

It鈥檚 an absolute disaster! Do not ever use them. They have made me to write emails and stay on the phone for hours and hours and at the end I didn鈥檛 get response neither my parcel. I believe that they are stealing our parcels

Worst experience ever on sending parcel. I definitely don't recommend to ANYONE who is thinking about using this company, unless you don't care about your parcel making your way to the recipient. My girlfriend went back home (Portugal) to stay with her family and collect all the baby items and decided to send them to the UK (where we live) via GLS. The worst mistake in her life. Never arrived, we kept calling them and they never showed any empathy or tried to solve the problem, giving us the number of Parcel Force (they hand it over to them here in England) and giving us the task to call around trying to find the parcel that we so naively taught we could trust them with it. After a whole week with 3-4 phone calls trying to get Parcel Force to move and do something to find the parcel, they said it's lost and claim on GLS. GLS answer till now have been the worst. We need to call, walk around to try to claim compensation for the parcel lost and they seem to try to make this process the hardest as it can be, looking like they are really trying to make me give up on getting my money back on a parcel that contained 500 euros worth of baby items. I've lived in 3rd world countries in my past, and I never saw this kind of lack of respect and disdain to the client. I am really frustrated that I am on this phase of my life of having the first baby, doing maths all weeks to understand how much can I save (if any) with a newborn and GLS only came to my life to show a really bad service and disregard to their clients. Honestly, again, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I've used many other companies in my life, never had all of this drama with the others.

terrible.
mobile phone was stolen. They kept their european tracking info (the one used by the seller to check the delivery) stating "delivering today" for more than one month (and counting) whilst the local website (and info from the very hard to reach local support) had been updated with "item stolen".
Refused to contact the seller and to update european tracking site and stating that seller had to contact them first (of course seller would always get the "in delivery" status on the european site. The local gls site (portuguese site) had a different tracking number and ,off course, was not the official tracking site to have value to the seller;
They don't respond to the emails nor to the remarks you post on their own forms in their webpages.
the contact telephone is is a premium number and they take like 30 minutes to reach an human to answer (and you pay fto listen to music) and then, they don't solve anything.
I was able to reach them through a complaint in a compliants portal In portugal. They replied there. But never fixed anything – their answers are mainly pre-written answers.
Terrible. Hope they go away from market – companies like this are the the reason for people to distrust sellers and e-commerce.

The worst delivery company I've ever used! The track&trace link was not showing any time frame of the delivery until the people just came to the house when I was at work. I said that I was not informed that they were coming, so I cannot be there now and said that they have to deliver on other day. People on the phone said "no, we cannot come other day, it's too far". I said "then leave the boxes next to the gates". They said "ok". After a few hours I was back home and all of the boxes were threw over the fence!!! (it was baby stuff including 2 beds and the matras). As a result everything was dirty and broken. The store promised to pick it up again via GLS, but they can only come on a business day and there is no time frame! So I had to skip my whole work day for that but NOBODY EVEN CAME! The online store told me that GLS just cancelled pick up with no explanations. Point. Nobody didn't inform me in any way, not the store not GLS. So now I have to skip another work day next week and loose money and time because of them. So if you ever buy anything in internet ALWAYS look at who will deliver and if it's GLS then find another store because you will gain only problems. They don't care about people and have no client service or support.

The have failed to deliver my parcel twice , no customer service you can speak to only a telephone number with options i.e you cannot actually talk to a person , no communication at all and even the so called hot line that is advertised on their web site is not working Rubbish company

Je mets 1 茅toile car il n'est malheureusement pas possible de mettre 0.
GLS est le pire transporteur auquel j'ai eu affaire.
Pas de livraison , remis soit disant 脿 une personne dont le nom est fantasque , il n'y en a m锚me pas dans ma ville.
Un service t茅l茅phonique qui ne r茅pond que au bout de plusieurs dizaines d'appels , ensuite une incomp茅tence et une mauvaise fois in茅galable , pour finalement m'informer qu'il y a une agence dans mon secteur…. Celui ci n'est pas mieux voire pire , 莽a ne r茅pond pas aux heures d'ouvertures. Attention le co没t des appels est PAYANT !
Une fois au bout du fil , une personne malotrue, si ce n'est d茅testable , je me suis presque fait insulter . Encore une fois incomp茅tence et on frise le ridicule et la malhonn锚tet茅 .

Si votre fournisseur ou exp茅diteur passe par GLS , c'est tr猫s simple : FUYEZ !
Vous ne serez pas livr茅 et vous n'aurez que des probl猫mes.
La pire exp茅rience possible !

The email received said the parcel was delivered , I was home and nobody came ( first it was supposed to be delivered 2 days before then we agreed for a new appontment , but I was home the 1st time and I lost my time ! )
The customer service is a joke , you have to pay and the don't answer .
Once you have them , they can't do nothing for you , after 4 days they say that there is a local GLS service but that one is even worst.

They delivered my parcel to someone that doesn't exist ( there is no such name in my city…. ) and when they spell the wrong name ( that doesn't even sounds a little like mine ! ) they say it's normal.
Anyways if your supplier use GLS , run away.
