I am really disappointed in this company. I ordered a package for my boyfriend's birthday. Short after, I've received an email from GLS that I had to agree not to sign when the package was delivered because of COVID -19. I did agree, thinking it was best for the deliverer to have minimal contact.
Track-and-Trace stated that my package was delivered on 9th of April, but it's nowhere to be found. The customer service was bad and pointed directly at the firm where I ordered my package. They didn't deliver, they didn't help and they didn't refund me. I would NOT recommend this delivery service at all.

I ordered a shipment to italy on 14th march with an accepted regular payment. After one day, they refused the shipment without giving any information and without providing any refund. I will not use anymore in my whole life gls service. It has been one of the worst and impolite shipment service of my customer experience. Neither the customer service has replied to my email. Be careful with shipments during this period with GLS

I have been trying to get a reply for a week. They can't be bother and in the meantime the package is sitting at their parcel center.
The recipient is not home and I don't know how to do a re-direction.

GLS does not even deserve this 1 star. My package was supposed to be picked up on wednesday. I stayed the entire day at home waiting, called them several times to have an idea of when they would stop by, and throughout the entire day they told me to wait longer, and that the driver was not picking up the phone. In the evening, on the tracking platform, the message that the parcel was not ready for pick up appeared, which is 100% untrue. Simply nobody showed up. As I had informed them several times, the next day I would not be at home before 18h. They guaranteed to me on the phone the three times I called to confirm (I was coming from another country on purpose for this) that they would come pick it up after 18h. They didn't, of course. The next day I called first thing in the morning, and the lady kept turning the phone off in my face. Aside from that, she told me that the driver would never pick up after 18h because they don't work after 18h. This was the same lady that the day before guaranteed to me that they were picking it up after 18h yesterday and that I should take a train from another country to come wait for them. This morning I warned them I could only be home during the morning and that I would have to find someone to come here on purpose at the time of pick up if it was after. They keep telling me that it is only after 3pm despite that it says on the website that they pick up between 9am and 6pm, and refuse to give me a proper schedule of when to be at home/ask someone to be here. They also don't call me because my number is not belgian, despite it being written on the notes of my order that if they ring me once I will call them back, so they don't have to bear the costs of international calls. The biggest issue is that they have been informed several times that I am moving out of the country permanently this weekend, which means that if the parcel is not picked up today, I will either have to leave it and lose it, or use another service to ship it, which will cost me much more since it is last minute. GLS does not give a crap about this, all they care is that they got the money, and if the shipment actually happens is irrelevant. They also hide behind the fact that because the customers contract with other companies and these companies are the ones using GLS, these companies are the ones liable to the customer, so barely any problem for GLS.

They really don't even deserve this 1 star.

What a shame ! Nothing is worst than GLS… Even DPD is above…. That gives you an idea of how bad they are…. 0/100 ! Never trust this fraudulous company ! Very dishonest compagny and workers. One star too many ! De vrais escrocs ! Une honte. Aucun service. Ne jamais faire appel 脿 cette compagnie sous aucun pr茅texte. Refuser de commander chez les marchands qui font livrer par GLS. Personnellement, Je refuse tout achat si livraison par GLS !

One star is one too many!

Absolute scandal!
When I go to their web site because our parcel didn't turn up on the supposed day (which I spent at home), it turns out it's impossible to track it.
I call the helpline, and after some searching, it turns out the wrong postal code had been put on the parcel. "Those things happen …" was the comment by the helpline.
So I use the erroneous postal code, and try to exclude the 1,5 hours of the next day that I cannot stay at home. But it's impossible! No such option!!! I finally manage to redirect the parcel to a pick-up point … I thought.
Instead, the next day nothing happens, but the day after that, I get a message from the vendor, saying the parcel had been returned!!!!!!

Never GLS!
