On August 29 late in the evening I found the website www.globalparrotsaviary.com on google selling various Parrots. I was interested in African Grey so I used the chat line to send a message and inquire the time was close to midnight. Virtually in less than 15 minutes I had an email with all the information and the baby Parrots price was listed one for $500 and a pair for $ 800 including courier shipment to My home in Mexico and all the health certificate. The name of person was Cora Shavers and she was requesting my address information for shipping documents to be prepared at 1:00am the was the first warning sign. The next morning I received the pictures of 2 Parrots with an invoice of $800 asking me to submit the funds via Wester Union 2nd warning sign. No legitimate business in US will offer that as the only choice of payment.
When I mentioned to Cora the the website indicated that their company accept credit cards she replied that is for shipment with us and I was surprised what difference there is 3rd warning sign. By the afternoon of 2nd day I was offered a new invoice with a bank account and a name that was different to transfer the money via bank transfer still refusing to accept credit card 4th warning sign. Two days later and after 20 emails today I got an email requesting all my credit card information with out any invoice. Why would a legitimate company take me as a customer thru this loop to finally say it is ok to pay with credit card . Only a company that is not legitimate and want to scam you. By the way I wrote all this to Cora Shavers and she wrote back to me that she is mother of 2 and will not cheat me. Once again if the company is legitimate why don鈥檛 they act like one.
Be aware do not fall in their trap.

I inquired about purchasing an African Grey, and they told me the price and asked me to pay so they could ship it to me. I asked if I could go there in person to see the birds and the person agreed, (this was all in email) but said I had to make an original down payment and submit a form with all of my information, before I got there.
They have no address and did not end up giving me one and the lady AGREED when I called it out as being fishy, easily letting me go when I brought up that I thought it was a scam.
