The customer service of this company is terrible: How this company gets away with price hijacking is amazing. Price on the webpage much lower than what you actually pay. Example, our holiday cost 拢100 more than actually agreed when entering my cc onto their site. Excuss, flight price had gone up? and as agreed to booking could not canx. We tape the calls we were told. Write in and complain. That was in June 2009, since then no response to the complaint exept a confirmation of receipt, then emails denying reciept then e.mails saying it was been actioned, then e.mails saying that they had not recieved it. To top the lot, I even sent a letter to the Manager by recorded delivery, guess what no response.
We go on holiday next week, no tickets, needed to book transfers, calls have cost well over 拢10 trying to contact them over the months. Called Tour Operator that told me tickets had been sent earlier in the month, then that also new tickets and a letter had been sent advising of a 11.5hour flight change. We were not inormed until we contacted them. Then recieved correct tickets, few days later original tickets arrived. Obvious they do not check the details against their syste. Been in Travel over 30yrs myself now retired. X Thos Cook Customer Service Manager. This company knows nothing of Customer Service, and Global Head Office do not want to know regarding complaints although Sunmaster/Global Late Deals is a member.
