Buyer Beware- They say BOGO but you only receive one pair.

BUYER BEWARE- Only received one pair after ordering two. (BOGO)
I have also filed with BBB. this company takes months to deliver your glasses and their customer service is a joke. I tried for 6 months to resolve through their CS dept. I have email to prove it.
Just say No! You think you鈥檙e saving money but you are not. Buy your glasses where you can visit them in person.

So I absolutely love my glasses. Quality is great. You can't beat the price, but if you are in a hurry to get your glasses, don't buy them at GlassesPros. It took 1 1/2 months to get 1 pair, and the other took 2 months. It was hard to wait that long. Worth it if you are patient though.

I normally don鈥檛 do this but Jay Brown left me no choice. He didn鈥檛 put a gun to my head and say buy your kids glasses from me or eat nails, he simply added charisma and genuinely cared for my needs and my situation. I am very grateful to have chosen Glassespros and have Jay Brown assist me, which at the end of the day helps my son鈥檚 vision greatly. Thank you Jay!

I have to agree with everyone here. I ordered my glasses in January. I didn't receive them until March. When I did receive them it was only 1 pair when I ordered 2. I called numerous times and initiated many tickets. One time I called to complain and the lady did not hang up and I heard her laughing. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. PLEASE REPORT THEM TO SHUT THEM DOWN I WILL!!!!

Language barriers and lack of knowledge from their support staff made this an unbearable experience.
After my glasses broke I searched online for replacement frames.
99% of the sites out there confirm out of stock/discontinued.
Hoping that they had something in stock as they were the only site I could find that would let me actually buy the frames, I reached out via their live chat and support tickets to the staff for answers. After days of back and forth on correct model numbers, pricing, and availability I attempt to place an order. Their site crashed multiple times which resulted in unconfirmed orders and charges through paypal. After finally successfully placing the order I wait nearly a week with no shipping notices or additional confirmations.
Not until I reach out and resubmit another support ticket do I get a response that says the frames are unavailable and my order will be cancelled.
A more knowledgeable staff would resolve this quickly, a very easy update to the website would show the frames out of stock/unobtainable, a more attentive staff would have processed the order and let a customer know quickly if the order could not be completed.
Very frustrating, very disappointing, very untrustworthy.
Site filled with what seems to be a bunch of fake positive reviews.
Glassespros.com was a terrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Do not use this company.
I ordered the first glasses and paid and they canceled it as said no size was available

The second order was very messy too. Customer service ordered wrong lenses despite a confirmation on email. They never pick up the phone are are not helpful. Then they cancelled my order without asking.

I would give zero stars. Worst company ever

Same experience as everyone here. Ordered "2 for 1" Oakley glasses Nov. 2 for $317, was told backordered for 3 weeks. I said no problem. About five weeks later I got one pair (nearly same frames were ordered for both glasses). Was very happy with glasses. But the second pair dragged out into the end of the year. After a lot of non- and mis-communication I got sick of it and opened a paypal dispute. Then the order was "cancelled" and I was offered a refund of $80 ("but first you have to stop the paypal dispute" – yeah right). Currently fighting with them over paypal – hopefully it will turn out ok. I'm cool with a 50% refund if they can't deliver the second pair of glasses, but not this. I didn't do my homework, wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. Lesson learned. Seemed like a great deal until all this happened. Hope this is not their business model but it seems to be so.

I had ordered to eyeglasses with buy one get next one 50% discount. They took my order saying that both frames are available and will take 8 to 12 business days to ship. I have wait for 12 days and did not get any updates, and decided to contact customer service. Customer service told me one frame is not available so that will refund the full amount for that frame, but what they charges me full amount for the second pair. Finally, I had to challenge them to get the correct amount refunded to my account. After I checked with the credit card company found that exact amount was credited as credit amount showed in the email. I had opened a claim with credit card to recover additional credit amount. I am still waiting to resolve the case. This company is not reliable and the real problem is that they don't have control on the inventory of the products they are showing in their website. The are taking the order hoping that supplier will deliver the frames on time. If supplier failed to deliver the frames than problem starts to being. This business model is not sustainable.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! They took my money after I specifically inquired about the 5-8 business day shipping time. Was assured that this was accurate. Today is the 8th business day but no frames. Contacted customer service to be told that my frames have not even been received from the manufacturer and they have no idea as to when they will be received to be shipped out. No apology, no courtesy call alerting me to the problem, absolutely no consideration for their customers. I hate to even give a 1 star review! I posted the same review on their website and I will bet it never sees the light of day!

Ordered mid September -tomorrow is December 1st. They were quick to take the money but the speed of service is poor at best. I鈥檒l have a new prescription by the time these get here. I read the previous reviews about speed but they are the only place I could find the Stepper brand frames that I love so much!
I am ready to escalate to the board of directors or owners or BBB.

I ordered my glasses on Oct. 2, 2019. On Oct. 28, I received a delivery pickup email from Canada Post. I checked the tracking information and it said that the package originated in Mississauga, Ontario. I went to collect it at the postal outlet, but the guy said they hadn't received it. On Oct. 29, I received a 2nd Canada Post delivery pickup email. This one stated that I had to pay $58.50 in duties, as assessed by Canada Border Services Agency. I reached out to Glassespros by starting an online chat thread. I asked the representative if they are a Canadian company. She confirmed. I asked why I was being charged customs fees if I ordered a product from a Canadian company while within Canada. I also asked why I was not advised at any time during the transaction that there would be additional charges upon delivery. The rep could not give me a satisfactory answer, but was quick to declare that I have to pay the customs fees. I knew that Glassespros does not do returns on prescription lenses, so returning the package was not an option. In any case, I need my glasses, so I went to the post office and paid the fee. Interestingly, the packing slip on the box had an attached Customs Declaration form with a US tracking number and US postage paid, but no US shipping address! The slip also indicated that the package originated in Victoria, BC, not Ontario! I contacted CBSA and asked why this company is being allowed to conduct business this way. They didn't have an answer, and they were as confused as I was about the conflicting shipping information. My glasses are fine, but the underhanded business practice of this company is unacceptable. 2 stars, and I am being generous. After all, it is almost Christmas.

This company is a scam, and I am being nice here. I am using 1 star because I can't go lower, otherwise the rating would be in the negative. I ordered sunglasses online, never got them. Emailed and cancelled the order and asked for my money back. Never got a confirmation or money back. I had to initiate a refund through my credit card at Chase who knows this company very well for being run by con artists. According to Chase they got quite a few calls asking for money back. Anyway, stay away and never order from these scammers even a pack of chewing gums. And BTW, the reviews on their site are frauds so don't bother reading them.

this company is a scam. never delivered the sunglasses, ignored my requests for a refund. Had to call my credit card co. to get my money back. Stay away, they will not mail you anything. BTW, all the reviews on their site are a fraud.

Glassespros has a sneaky policy that effectively prevents one from exchanging or returning their glasses. Unless one carefully reviews their policy ahead of time, one would not know that the lenses are NON-REFUNDABLE AND they charge a RE-STOCKING fee on the glasses!

I ordered my glasses 6 weeks ago and still have yet to receive them. When I ordered them I was told they would only take 11 to 15 business days to process and receive my order. When I call they tell me there is nothing they can do but send an email to the various company they outsource to for the frames and lenses. This company does a poor job of running a retail business. I will never buy from them again.

I had the same experience, probably worse, than the other reviewers.

On July 9th, I ordered a pair of Prada sunglasses with 2.25 readers. Went through all the process of sending a prescription and telling them what level to set the readers. I was told that they would need 10 to 15 days to complete the order. They were finally shipped on August 18th – five weeks later. After all my complaints, they gave me a 10% cash rebate on the order.

Upon receipt, the glasses gave me bad headaches and my view was distorted when not looking straight ahead. After ten days trying to get used to them, I took the glasses to a local optician, who found that:

1. The right eye lens had a correction for an astigmatism. I don鈥檛 have an astigmatism and the prescription didn鈥檛 request that;
2. The reason that I had distortion in each lens when looking left and right was that the lenses used inexpensive old fashioned technology, and are not 鈥渄igital鈥?which is what I ordered.
3. The lower segment of the glasses for the 2.25 readers was too high at 25 millimeters. It should have been 22 millimeters.

It took until September 13th to obtain a return slip for them to be remanufactured, and then another two weeks for them to be delivered back to me – finally correctly manufactured with digital technology.

One of the problems in dealing with the company is that there is no human being beyond the first-line customer service people, who try to be helpful, to whom one can speak, and the customer service people cannot call the lab directly.

Purchased a pair of prescription glasses on glassespros on August 9th won't be receiving them until September 16th. 39 days later. Yes they are legit, yes they are affordable, but if you are in a rush look elsewhere they are painfully slow.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I have had a horrible ordering and return experience with them that has gone on and on. I still don't have my refund and I am BURNED. If they had said — we're in Canada and this will cost you $20 and be a serious pain to return, I would have stayed away. I should have looked here first.

(Ironically, the glasses were beautiful but didn't fit.)

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!
Don鈥檛 trust the review you see on the website. All fake reviews! As a customer who just recently bought 2 pairs of glasses there… I wanted to make a complaint and review but couldn鈥檛.

I ordered 2 of the EXACT same pair of glasses in rose/gold back in August 11, just got it and CRAP! They are suck! Only 1 pair came rose/gold, the other one came purplish/silver…. the colours definitely are not the same… and worse the rose/gold one has greenish mold in them…I will take me longer than 5 days to return it so I will not get a full refund! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I WISH I HAD SEEN THESE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING!!!!BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

I strongly disagree with all the bad reviews on GlassesPros. I gave them a 5 star because I bought some beautiful Tura glass frames, that other company's had for double and triple the price. I received them in 14 days. If you call to check on the status of your order, you will get someone on the line to speak to and they did tell me that it takes 8-12 because they order from the manufactures and they have to receive them and then ship to us. They came with the Tura case & cloth as well, They were shipped from Victoria BC, so considering that, I think that was amazing. Thank you GlassesPros.

One of the worse online eyeglasses experience ever. I mailed my brand new $200 frames to their shipping address (Canada). It took them 2 months to notify me there was an issue with the lens manufacturer (keep in mind i was calling them once a week). I kept getting the "lens is being made by manufacturer" speech every time. Customer service is outsourced and not helpful. At the end of the day, it's almost 3 months and no lenses and they still have my frames. Sham website.

Scam

I paid for a pair of eye glasses and never received them. I call several times and was given the run around. Also you can hear people laughing in the background. Also sent them numbers emails and still given the run around
