Turned down one perfectly good credit card, on the grounds that the address was not correct. (It was.) I tried another credit card, and it seems the credit card company itself reversed the charges after they went through 鈥?too suspicious. Do not buy Google Play Gift Cards from this site. In fact, it seems that most people selling these cards are dodgy.

Stay away from this company!! I spent two hours carefully selecting 16 cards for my 16 colleagues, each with a lot of thought, and a personalized note, only to have my two orders rejected with no reason given. The next day, I was on hold for 50 minutes to find out the details, only to find out that the CSR could not tell me the reason either! She suggested there was something wrong with my credit card or the billing address, which there is not. She had the nerve to suggest that I re-enter the entire order and try again! I will go elsewhere! My credit card online record shows that the charges were pending and then were reversed. I suggest to you that they are harvesting credit card numbers for nefarious reasons. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Purchased $200 of gift cards last month. Went to use them online this week and site says they have already been redeemed. Yet I didn鈥檛 share the codes with anyone. Emailed giftcards.ca and it鈥檚 been days with no response. Very unhappy that it looks like I鈥檒l have to file a grievance through my credit card company.

Update: I still have not received a response to my email to giftcards.ca and instead of responding to my email they responded to this complaint saying they see I鈥檝e already filed a grievance through my credit card company which is false – I have been waiting for a response from them to my email but it seems they don鈥檛 care to look into the matter or respond.

Sergio seems to be the only person on chat if you go with the reviews and no help at all.

Bought a 10$ google gift card did receive it tho but appears to be invalid for redeeming in Canada.
They just direct you to Google support.

I shouldn't even put a star there I am so upset ! Not only did I have to sign up for an account twice and still receive no confirmation email but without waiting for that email, I had placed my order for a $50 door dash card with all required info including credit card info TWICE and had not seen any confirmation of submission on the site or received any acknowledgement of the purchase via email. I spoke to Sergio from customer service chat and he was no help to me either. What kind of reputable company does this ???? All I was trying to do was send a gift card for a meal delivery to a young mother who had to emergency deliver her baby b/c she was just diagnosed with cervical cancer. Good thing I took a screenshot of my order. I will be following up on this !

Hi, I purchased and paid for an ESSO gift card as a gift for someone and it never came. I tried calling your customer service number and no one answered, not even a busy signal. Please contact me right away so you can resolve this.

Update: Giftcards.ca rectified the situation and sent a new card after this complaint was lodged. Thank you.

Avoid the hassel. I purchased a babiesrus gift card and when we went to use it, it said it was invalid. I called customer service who directed me to toysrus and said that it may need to be activated, but did not provide instructions outlining this with the giftcard. I have been on hold with Toysrus for almost 2.5 hours trying to get this sorted out and who knows if I will or not.

Very little help from customer service and cannot get through to toysrus/babiesrus

Super frustrated.

I just purchased gift cards for my staff but the system would only take 10 orders at a time so I had to make two orders. The second order did not get processed and when I called I was not given a clear answer why it did not go through and that I would have to reorder it.
I have just completed my second order and decided to do a review and noticed many people not receiving what they have paid for and now I am concerned. I will follow up and let the the Customer review know if the gift cards were recieved and able to use them.

Bought a 200.00 gift card yesterday it shows it was taken from my card, still haven't received my gift card. Starting to wonder if this is a scam considering it shouldnt take this long to process a transaction. Made me miss the sale that was on which was the whole reason I wanted the egiftcard.

I am soooo frustrated with this company!! I needed to buy 30 Prepaid Mastercard gift cards, and had called in advance to make sure it would be okay if I placed this order in 3 different transactions (because of limit of 10 per order). The first 2 orders got approved and processed, but the third one has gotten rejected 4 times!! I've tried different credit cards and still keeps getting rejected. I contacted customer service, and she was USELESS, did nothing at all!! I just don't understand your process of reviews and approvals!! UGHHH I literally needed to get them out this week, as they were urgent, but dealing with such awful customer service is such a waster of time!!

I ordered a $50 Google Play Giftcard on the 5th of April, and the receipt stated I would receive the gift card on the same day. However, I have yet to receive it, even after emailing customer service. I've seen that they have often replied to people's reviews on here, so this is where I am turning to now. The gift card was supposed to be for a friend's birthday, and I had to show up empty-handed, quite disappointed.

Update 06/04/2020: I have now received the gift card, and my friend is happy. I appreciate their willingness to respond to inquiries here.

I ordered a Tim Hortons gift card for my husband on Christmas Eve to be delivered Christmas Day – no email confirmation or receipt. He has checked daily – including spam, still not receiving it to this date. I emailed last week to ask about it and still I have received no response. Oh but the money came off my credit card promptly. Please provide my husband with the gift card or refund me please.

Update: They gift card has now been received, plus an additional $25 card because of the error in delivery.

I ordered my father in law a gift card for Christmas on December 20th, to be delivered to his email on Christmas Day. I have attempted to contact the company twice now with no response! Very unprofessional. So disappointed and frustrated that a company would take my money and not deliver what was paid for.

After my review I heard back from the company and things have now been resolved. Appreciated the quick response. Feel much better about the company now.

Very disappointing experience. Ordered an e-gift card on Christmas Day and it still has yet to be delivered. Recipient has checked their junk mail and filters and no sign of gift card. After my order, I didn't receive a confirmation email, after sending an email to the company two days ago, there has yet to be a reply; however the charge to my credit card was processed very quickly. I wish I had checked the reviews prior to purchasing.

**Edit to my review. My mom finally received her gift card and everything is more than satisfactory I appreciate that they took the time to go above and acknowledge they were in the wrong. I just wish the customer Service was better as no one communicated to me what was going on not have I ever received a confirmation email.

Ordered a gift card for my mom for Christmas she has yet to receive it. She has checked her junk mail I have checked my junk mail and I have never even gotten an order confirmation email. They were quick to withdraw the money though. I emailed them for help never got a response so finally yesterday I called and the guy I spoke to said it was delivered to my moms email…no it wasn鈥檛…so I asked to have it just resent to my email and I would forward to her. Sure no problem he says 2-4 hours you鈥檒l have that. This was yesterday and today still NOTHING. Merry Christmas mom…..

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE

I placed an order on December 25th, 2019. My payment was processed on my credit card that day. No confirmation email was sent, no gift card was received. Phone calls to the company for resolution did not resolve the issue. They said they have resent twice to both email addresses. Nothing received. I have requested a refund which in all likelihood will result in the same issue – nothing received. Scammers.

I ordered a gift card for Sephora – it was never delivered. Order #4321510- it was supposed to be delivered on December 26.

No luck with customer service. Suggest alerting your credit card of fraudulent activity.

Update: unfortunately it still has not been received. Junk folders or otherwise. Please refund – thank you

ANOTHER UPDATE & RATING CHANGE:
Today my gift card recipient got an email from Giftcards.ca – not only did she receive the $50 gift card I originally purchased for her, as a goodwill gesture for the delay, they also gave her an additional $25 gift card. I鈥檓 very happy with this resolution – thank you for making this right.

UPDATE – giftcards.ca was willing to work with me on the issue and resolved it. They even gave me a $25 gift card to compensate for the previous issue I had.
