Update on my previous review.

Despite the on-line tracking stating at one point "Discharged – Tottaly missing", (their spelling of 'totally?'), my item arrived?

I called the sender, Maison du Monde, and they too thought the item had been lost when they checked the tracking, and have dispatched another item.

Geodis, later got back to me to say "item was not lost", they did not explain what the 'totally missing' post on their tracking site actually means.

Item was dropped on the door step and a knock on the door, by the time I got to the door, the driver was back in his truck, not sure whether this is normal service, or a 'covid' response.

So overall room to improve the clarity of their tracking!

I received a call from the driver telling me to come downstair from my apartment and pick up my box from the the truck as they only do kerb side deliveries, i explained that i had just had a baby and recovering from a csection i will not be able to lift a 50 kg box from the road to my home. The driver then just drove off with my good. Never experienced such a thing before.

Maison du monde claim that my parcel was delivered. I didn鈥檛 receive it. Geodis claim it鈥檚 been lost. Maison du monde won鈥檛 issue me a refund because Geodis haven鈥檛 emailed them despite the fact that the tracking says 鈥渢otally missing鈥? Very frustrating that I am out of pocket because of two utterly useless French companies!

Every time we shipped our product via Geodis, there were various problems and delays. I'd rather carry the freight myself than deal with them again. Stay away!

Avoid . Please avoid
Having placed a 180 kg order consisting of a dining room table and 8 chairs, I paid 260鈧?to have it delivered to my condo on the 5th floor.鈥?br />
The delivery took place the day it was scheduled to be.
But to my greatest surprise and dismay the driver dropped the palet on the middle of the curb in Paris . And when shown the invoice paid with delivery instructions, he refused and started insulting us. Then left
Next tried to contact the company. Good luck- impossible to find any number to contact.
After hours of searching I sent an email to complain. Still waiting for a reply
Contacted the supplier from whom I had bought the goods. He got back quickly to say that Geodis was short of staff and could not provide the service!!!! End of story. Should be getting back the difference in cost between upstairs and downstairs delivery. That is it stay away from Geodis they are S..T.

AWFUL! I ordered something from amazon and it shipped through geodis, the box came completely destroyed I鈥檓 very surprised it was still able to hold the item it was so torn apart also the box appeared as if it had been opened. The item inside was also damaged. It was a limited edition figure in which the box was extremely damaged but luckily the final figure was ok!. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS don鈥檛 order things that ship from this company especially if you want it in one piece! Very disappointed!

Absolutely diabolical. I agree with everyone else here by far the most inefficient service ever. They failed to deliver my parcel , declared it lost to amazon but refuse to even contact me directly for an explanation. dont Use this delivery service even if it鈥檚 the last one in hell, I suggest you walk and pick it up because it鈥檒l be faster and more efficient than these lot

Been waiting a week now. They say they've attempted delivery…yet no card ever left. No way to contact them. Finally got a phone number, but they don't reply. Would pick up the package if we had an address. Unbelievable!

Diabolical. Geodis will lose you business.. Please, please do not use unless you have a death wish on your business. Very expensive consignment not delivered after a week even though promised delivery. Customer care is just not on the radar

Utter s****. May as well cancel your order and buy from someone who doesn鈥檛 use Geodis for delivery. Previous delivery vanished into thin air (it鈥檚 a large piece of furniture). Company sent out a new item, waited in all day for nothing when they said they were coming. No delivery again. Rang to find out it wasn鈥檛 even loaded on to a truck today. It will be here on Monday………

I'm sure this isn't being reviewed by Geodis as a company because if it was they'd be doing something about the awful reviews they are receiving on this site. This company has taken a delivery role for an item that I have ordered in January. I have reviewed the company website and now have tracking information to show that the parcel is at their Northampton site waiting for me to be contacted to arrange delivery. However, it is now the 7th Feb and the parcel arrived in Northampton on the 31st Jan. I have had no contact to arrange delivery and merely trying to get a number to call Geodis on is practically impossible.
In this day and age this is not how a company should be doing business. Its shoddy attitude to its customers will inevitably be its downfall, and frankly good riddance to bad blood!

Where do I begin!! Delivery due date 4th December/ 5th december given by company I ordered from. They emailed me a tracking parcel box but guess what it didn鈥檛 work. Also gave a number that doesn鈥檛 exist!! Into the delivery of said parcel, company contacted Geodis who said oh that won鈥檛 be delivered until next week. Got an email following Tuesday asking when I would like it delivered. I emailed back sayi next day would be fine as someone would be in. No parcel delivered. I Emailed following day to say no parcel delivered. Apparently there was a delay with delivery and would be out for delivery following day. I advised could only deliver before 1 o鈥檆lock. No problem apparently. No parcel delivered. Managed to get a phone number for them following day It turns a out they did try to deliver at 1.17 and I was out. Of course I was out!! Because it was after 1 o鈥檆lock. The guy said they took a photo of the address because there was no access but would deliver today, I said it would have to be before 1 or after 3.30. Got home no parcel, checked my emails and low and behold the photo they took was two doors down at my dentist which was closed for the afternoon. Guess what they are closed for the weekend and no answer now til Monday. Will I ever get my parcel? What a terrible company!!!

No sign of expected parcel (apparently they had been trying to contact me) but on raising concerns surprise surprise I was easily contacted a few hrs later. Told they would deliver the next day but waited in till 8pm and nothing arrived. Phoned next day to be told driver had run out of tachometer hours and had to return- said I should have been contacted. What a joke. Then when delivery van arrived the next day, the courier couldn鈥檛 locate our parcel amongst the parcels that had been strewn in the back, most of which were damaged in some way! What a poor service. The call centre did appear to be helpful but in reality just paying lip service. Sounds like too much expected of their drivers.

I'm in Belgium, so received a package delivered by the Belgian branch of this company. Even by Belgian standards, this is not a good logistics company. Customer service is non-existent.

No calls to arrange delivery, despite automatic emails promising this. No calls in advance of arrival, despite promises by people at depot. For this reason, I only received my package on the fourth delivery attempt (having spent three full working days at home waiting for the package – for the first attempt, I got no advance warning, so I was at work).

The company had consequently had the package in their possession for over three weeks, having taken it in and out of their trucks four times, each time with the risk of damaging it. They were repeatedly rude on the phone, and despite having botched three deliveries, were not willing to make any extra efforts to get the package delivered at a time when someone was actually present at the house. In the future, I am checking with all suppliers, and if they use this company for deliveries, I am not buying from them.

I only gave them 1 star because I couldn't put zero. My package was on a three day deliver but despite this I am still waiting 5 days later with nobody telling me anything about the package despite 5 phone calls, 1 email, 1 facebook complaint and three attempts to get an answer through their feedback form online. yodel all is forgiven……………

This is the worst logistic company I have ever come across with. They dont send any updates, then they sent me an email saying my parcel would arrive on a Tuesday. I waited all day for it at home and it never came, and delivery status said Delivered!!! There is no way to contact them, sent several messages through their 'contact our branch' button but never recieved a response. I bought furniture from Smallable.com which is an online luxury brand store, and they should be ashamed to use this company as their logistics.

Having found a great deal online, I ordered my item…

The item hadn't arrived after a few days and the 'schedule your delivery' button did not work on the automated tracking email. After getting stuck in a phone loop multiple times and after much Googling I found a number for the correct depot. If you've ever tried contacting Northampton Geodis you'll understand how tricky this is. They were very pleasant and helpful and advised when the parcel would arrive. So I waited 2 days at home for it (after the second day being told there had been an accident). Being that I work, and couldn't waste another day, Geodis recommended I pick a designated day that week, which I did… HOWEVER…

Update (1 day later – 3 working days late):
Have just had a David Lynch moment and received a notification saying that my parcel has been signed for, by 'myself' however I have not been home all day (this was not my 'new' designated delivery day). I will not be happy if this has been left with a neighbour as it clearly states to check the item thoroughly. Very stressful experience thus far.

Update (later that evening)
Well… Not to worry, it wasn't responsibly left with a neighbour as I just got home to find my 拢750+ digital piano hanging out, on my doorstep (in South East London) in the drizzle, in full view of any Tom, Brian or Harry, with the name of the product on full display and the box battered like a good piece of Weymouth cod.

After unpacking the piano, everything seems to be ok, however it does sound a bit like soggy bagpipes, hopefully this will resolve itself as it dries out.

If you want your goods dropped on your doorstep for all to see, whatever the weather, go for it.

Bonne chance.

Geodis overseas India private limited is the worst company I have ever worked with. They behave like sea pirates who will hijack your shipment like in Somalia and will not release it unless you pay their unreasonable demand. My ship moved from India to France and no one in the company has a clue where is the ship. Even on my repeatedly asking them almost everyday there was no communication. One fine day Geodis called me and said that oh! The ship reached 2 weeks ago and this week we all are on leave going for the employee outing and you have to pay all the demmurage and the ship parking etc. I called the country director and the Asia region head but they did no investigation and asked me to pay if I wanted my goods back. Don t work with the sea pirates, ever!

This company has been a disaster. They initially deliver the wrong goods at the wrong date to my apartment in London. Called me several times to pick up the wrong items which they never did at the time that they said they would. They also said the items were 138 kilos which was clearly wrong for a couple of pieces of baby furniture.

After they finally got my right order, a woman called me on a Friday (3 days after my correct delivery was due) asking if the delivery could be postponed for the following Monday to which I said no. She proceeded to hung up on me. When I called back she said the items would be delivered the Friday before 5pm.

I then get a call from someone else saying that the items will not arrive until the following Monday when it had been already confirmed for the Friday! I asked him for an email confirmation and not only he refused to give one but he hung up on me again.

This company is not only unreliable but has the worst customer service that I have ever encountered.

I'm exactly in the same situation as the other review. I have ordered a bathtub online, and Geodis is supposed to deliver it to me. As the beginning it looks kice, they send me on Monday a tracking number. But the same day things start to go worse.

On Monday evening the tracking number indicate the delivery has been cancelled, without any other explanation.

On Tuesday they send me another tracking number, but nobody shows up.

On Wednesday I call them and they tell me it will be delivered for sure on Thursday between 8Am and 7PM.

On Thursday I have been following the status on the tracking number. At 7.38AM it says: Delivery Run, Birmingham. At 1PM I call Geodis to know where it is, they garantee me it will be here before 5PM. At 5PM nobody is here so I call back again but they are not able to tell me where the truck is

Then at 5.30 a pretty white big truck shows up, apparently lost. It turns twice in front of our house without stopping., I have even been able to take a picture of it. And finally at 5.45 I call back Geodis, again, and they tell me it is too late it will be delivered tomorrow, Friday. They garantee before 10AM but why should I trust them?

So to conclude this Geodis are bad. The only good point is the people on the helpline, they are all very gentle. But the rest of the team and the logistic is clearly bad.

I was notified by my vendor (QS Supplies) that my order had been released to Geodis for distribution and the latter would be in touch within 48 hours to arrange delivery. No contact, so I went to the website but there is nowhere to type in the tracking number provided, so not possible to track online (!). I rang on many occasions over the following few days and none of the staff I (finally, after frequent engaged tones) got through to could effectively tell me what was going on with my delivery. After 4 days I was finally told the delivery was 'lost' (we're talking pallet with two washing machine-sized boxes on it) and to contact my seller who confirmed this. No doubt they will say it was all the vendor's fault, which it may be, but geodis did not deliver on their customer service mission at all (eg the named contact at geodis never responded even though I emailed her directly; none of the numerous promises to call me back were honoured and I had to do all the ringing), and their systems seemed incapable of providing status even though a tracking number was provided.

Apparently, this organisation is a major player in logistics, which I have to say, substantially surprises me. Other providers are available and they are very, very much better…
