Hello, I have two days trying to schedule an appointment, but the geek squad customer service were unable to help me, last time I spoke to CARLOS and Benjamin who also hang up the phone on me from Geek Squad and he said because he is incapable to do it he switch to anyone and anywhere in best buy store without my consent, because if I have have a warranty from Geek squad they are the one supposed to help with it.

An organization full of MISINFORMATION. Read your own policy of your product before trusting what they say. Please Note*** that if they screw up and know it is their fault, they will not hold any accountability in regards to making it right with their customer. Also they will not allow you to speak to a manager… Makes you wonder if they even have management.
Lastly, I want to urge you to reconsider using their warranty, unless you are okay with waiting a whole day to speak to a representative. They say it鈥檚 a 9 minute wait on their call lines and that if you want a call back, your place in line will be in order… well 72 hours later… still no call back & when you contact them to bring up this issue they say 鈥?oh sorry it鈥檚 a silly situation that we are trying to resolve鈥?WHO SAYS THIS ???
Absolutely the most absurd company I have ever had the displeasure in dealing with.. If you are still convinced by the next few Fake reviews made up to compliment Geek Squad, to help hide my review from the top well then… you missed out on the most important information to help save you money and time.

Luckily, my friend was free and let me use her phone. I paid the $250 deductible online and waited 4 days. Still no phone, so I call. They say "wait another day". Still no phone, so I call again. They say "call back tomorrow, it's 4pm and no one is open". So I call back today, and they tell me that the phone got lost at the distribution center. I ask to speak to a manager, and all they say is, "they'll get back to you in 2-3 business days". Are you kidding me? So, now I have to wait another 3-5 business days to possibly get my phone. This service is a joke, please save yourself a headache and don't go with best buy or "AIG" insurance (which is what they offer). Hopefully, I'll get my phone by the 9 business day, wish me luck.

On hold for 2 hours and 15 minutes to have them hang up on you and not call back and I called again and requested a call back when they called back had me on hold for 26 minutes for someone to get back on the line and without a word put on hold again and no one picked up for an hour and 18 minutes

City of Toronto. And the greater GTA area has one great thing in common, The Geeksquad that did not show up to install my TV and my surround THX Sound System. You would think they will show up on time. Two hours late and not even a courtesy call.
Paid over $359 for a completed set up and brought the wrong bracket mount for the size of this TV we just purchased it from BestBuy on Laird considering we live at Bayview and Lawrence How can GEEKSQUAD mess up like that

AFTER AN HOUR I THEY TOLD ME WRONG SCREWS AND BRACKET IS DEFECTIVE, TO PLEASE CALL MANAGER AT BESTBUY OR GEEKSQUAD AND THEY LEFT
TOLD .ME TO GET ANOTHER DAY FOR US TO COME BACK.

My laptop got broke when I tried to replace its screen with another one I've seen on a website named laptopscreen.com. Eventually, I figured out that it wasn't even a compatible screen, anyways…
I went to Best Buy, more precisely Geek Squad, in order to get it fixed. The screen, its hinges and the screen assembly were the only components that were supposed to be fixed, it's written in paper in front of me.
I paid about 550$+. About three weeks later, I get a call from Geek Squad asking if I wanted to fix my keyboard and some extra stuff since there, in fact, a key was missing but it wasn't a big day, an offer to which I clearly answered "no".
Then, those brilliant people decided to ship my laptop back to the store, absolutely no fixes, zero, I could see that they've done nothing when one of the employee brought my laptop back, it was in a really bad state. His boss saw it and recalled that they decided to pay for the extra fixes, how smart considering the fact that I clearly said "no".
So they shipped my laptop back to Best Buy, 2-3 weeks later I got another call for more useless fixes and an estimate of 800$ because the price "fluctuates" and when I ask them if they at least got something fixed, they answered no.
I was really mad at the time considering the fact that I am a game developer and was suppose to release my game this summer, because I spent more than 100$ for going to the store and then going home because every taxi ride would cost about 20$+ and because at the end of it, I just ended up wasting time and money, school is about to restart and I still have nothing fixed.
The level of incompetence I've witnessed is something I couldn't have imagined, nearly two months and they managed to get nothing fixed, truly sad.
At that moment, when I saw how horrible and the waste of my precious time and money, I just decided to cancel everything and to send my laptop to store and they better refund me for the repairs that they haven't done because I'm about to fill some lawsuit for every missing penny.
Can't believe that the repairs cost more than the price of the laptop, a laptop that I bought last summer, not even one year, absolutely pathetic.
I'm also going to ask for some sort of compensation for Best Buy because of the weeks- months I've lost running around for my laptop like a madman.
Might consider buying a fresh new machine.

This is NOT a review on customer service. No one who answers phone calls is rude. Especially since most called are recorded. This review is about the terrible standard this company has to take care of problems customers have ALREADY PAID FOR. Why pay for Geek Squad protection if it takes so long to make an appointment?
I bought a washer and dryer 2 weeks ago. The delivery/ installation guy could not properly install the dryer so he asked me to call Best Buy so they could send a team over to finish it. After several confusing calls (each with over half an hour of wait time) they said they would not be able to send anyone and they weren't sure why the order had not been cleared yet. They apologized and said to call back after 72 hours.
I called back. After more calls and more wait time, they stated that they still could not send anyone to fix the dryer because I also had a TV being delivered from the same order. For clarification, I purchased the washer, dryer and TV at the same time. Apparently, they can't do anything to any part of an order until all the items are delivered. I received my washer and dryer on Thursday and the TV wasn't coming until the following Monday.
This is such a stupid policy. What the hell does my TV delivery have to do with the protection plan that I PAID FOR coming to fix the item that THEIR employee could not install??
After my TV was delivered, I called again. Finally, they were able to set up an appointment. The appointment was today. The time frame they gave me was 7:00am-1:00pm.
I'll let you guess if they showed up.

As for TV or Audio repairs, even Installation of Audio and Video is far from professional installation.
They are sales guys that have been trained for a week to do this. Far from professionals!
