I was slow to buy one because I thought they were costly enough and with both very good and some very poor review scores I wasn't sure it would be worth the risk. But… It was. I had to experiment a little but learned 2 things from reviews and from some trial runs. You need a fine grind coffee – I get a grind for a moka pot. Also you need to get the right quantity of coffee so the water can pass through but coffee will be strong enough. I like 2 pods per cup so I have just gone back to buy 3 more pods so I can use them at work and at home and not have to refill when hot. So I guess I am speaking with my wallet. Happy to buy 3 more based on using the product. No more capsule waste and I spend my money now on buying the best quality locally roasted and ground coffees. A real treat! Great product.

I'm very satisfied with the product.
I had to try a little with the coffee grinder but now the powder is perfect.

I ordered two capsules and a damper, total cost 拢47.00 – which arrived in good time – but the boxes they came in were squashed and damaged. They were intended as a present for a friend. I took a photograph of the damaged delivery and emailed Evergreen – I asked for a replacement set and for a post paid label to return the damaged stuff in. The reply came, which I was too quick to read properly and it was only when the 'replacement' arrived that I realised they were sending a replacement box!!! I'm not convinced the contents will work ok so don't want to give them as a gift in case they are defective.

I decided I just wanted to return the items – but when I asked, again, for a post paid label, I was told I could return the items to an address in Barcelona (!!) and once received I would get my refund. I've now read some of the reviews on here and I can see that my refund may never happen come through. I have asked the company to arrange collection of the items and am waiting to hear back.

One more thing, the packaging is NOT GREEN:
– capsules are in polystyrene holders
– coffee scoop is plastic
– packaging is bubble wrap and then in a plastic bag

This really surprised me given the name of company and the claims on the website.

UPDATE: I was contacted directly by the CEO following this review along with an apology and full refund of 拢47.00. I appreciate this contact and the email from the CEO. He also explained in a further email that the company are studying several options but it's not easy as there are different kinds of orders which require different size boxes.

I queried why the return address in Barcelona is not on the website. I have been informed that the address in Barcelona is in the following places on the EVERGREEN website: in the Privacy Policy, in the Terms and Conditions and in the FAQ page – but in all cases you have to look to find it.

Why is it not on the Returns page / highlighted when you order the product should you wish to return it?

Great capsules durable and easy to clean. Super happy using them over one year now.

Great quality & stylish product. Love that you can put in your own coffee & it fits my Nespresso coffee machine. Best thing is that you are doing something to reduce environmental impact.

Great high quality product. I bought mine 6 months ago and love it. I have recommended them to all my friends. Easy to use and cheaper than buying capsules plus good for the environment. I particularly like the fact that you can load them up with different coffees to suit your taste and mood at that precise moment.

I appreciated their extra effort to send my order despite the many restrictions during this pandemic. I ordered during the height of the quarantine for COVID-19 and it delayed my order so much but they were quick to send another package to ensure it gets to me and make up for the delay.

The capsules were great and practical as I expected.

It麓s great how the new grinded coffee adjust perfectly to the evergreen capsule to get a delicious and creamy coffee.

I've been trying to get my product delivered for the past 6mos. The delay is understandable due to the ongoing pandemic. In spite of the situation the staff have been kind, helpful, and efficient trying to get me the most convenient resolution. It was pleasant to converse with them and I would always get the answers I was looking for.

The only room for improvement I can think of is the addition/improvement of safeguards. Upon realizing my item was lost in transit, the service team decided to mail me a replacement product instead. I agreed and after two months I followed-up to check its status. Turns out my replacement item was overlooked and was never shipped. I then unnecessarily waited another month to receive the item.

Other than that I commend the service staff of evergreen whom embody professionalism and courtesy in spite of the current global crisis.

I鈥檝e been very pleased with the coffee I purchased from Evergreen. As promoted it works perfectly with the stainless steel capsules and allows me to pack it in firmly which I feel helps it deliver a better brew 鈥?it鈥檚 a very satisfying medium strength blend.

Of course the capsules themselves continue to perform as required and ensure I鈥檓 not adding to any landfill.

I will continue to use both the coffee and the capsules very happily.

I got some of these capsules as I like the idea of re-useable pods. Whilst the standard pods are recyclable there is a big energy cost associated with recycling so thought I'd give these a go.

initially I was a little disappointed as the coffee was coming out too weak. i tried a few coffees but still too weak. I spoke to Laura at Evergreen Capsules and she suggested some coffees I should try. I must admit I was sceptical having tried a few coffees already but i am really please to say with the new coffee purchased the strength is right up there with the standard pods and I'm loving these re-useable capsules !

I鈥檓 very happy with the product, they are easy to use and clean. It takes a few tries to find the right amount of coffee to suit your taste but once you鈥檝e done it there鈥檚 no hassle. They work fine with my nespresso machine and I鈥檓 so pleased to stop using the disposable capsules and reduce waste I hope more people start making the change to reusable pods.

I found the Evergreen Nespresso Capsules to be very easy to use with my machine. I take them out of machine straight away and pop the lids off to let the coffee grinds dry. After a couple of days, it is easy to empty to my compost. I then wash them and let them dry. I fill them again and love how sustainable the product is.

I found that the evergreen pod is well made and simple to use.

Incredible product and service

I have been using their capsules for over a year and recently bought even more. I have tried other鈥檚 cheaper plastic capsules but it鈥檚 a false economy; in my experience evergreen metal capsules are the only ones that work reliably and deliver a good tasting coffee with a rich crema. I enjoy choosing my own coffee roast and not being limited to nespresso compatibles. I鈥檇 highly recommend making the switch to reusable metal today. Although the cost of the capsules is higher than others, the ability to choose the coffee you put into them makes them economically sensible too.

Really like this product as I'm able to grind my own coffee and put it in a reusable capsule. The materials are made of very good quality so do damage and cleaning is easy. Lovely and helpful customer service from Julie and the team.

Delivery in about 2 weeks to France which was not so bad considering the circumstances. What a great solution and happy with the coffee results. Have ordered some more for our son. The follow up service was also useful to answer a couple of questions quickly and efficiently.

I'm generally very happy with my new capsules (mainly used for expresso coffee, with a Dolce Gusto machine).
I had another set from another supplier, but I was tired of having a paper filter, so those ones are great.
The tamper is really nice in hand, smooth and gives some satisfying feel when used.
If one thing, the green leads should be a bit more adjusted: I sometimes find them loose after pouring my coffee, but I'm being picky.
Bonus: having that feeling you try something to minimise your carbon footprint

I don't believe the positive reviews here. This product does not work and took several months to arrive. I fell for the slick marketing unfortunately. Made in China, cheap.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE, Very good quality, makes coffee just Like the consumable capsules or even better.
I started saving money now as im not buying the expensive capsules anymore.

I have ordered the Nesspresso Capsules in March and were delivered in August and this after repeated messages to track the item and make the effort to get delivered
