Horrible customer service, incompetent and unfriendly staffing, extremely uncomfortable seats and not so clean aircraft. I will never use this airline again.

I may not be evaluating the right office because I purchased my tickets through Delta KLM Brussels, but can't find them on the site.
I purchased a ticket Brussels / San Jose Costa Rica for my daughter in March (quite expensive because of the return flight in 2017). Departure on June 29. I received a message on my cell phone on the 28th, less than 24 hrs before departure saying the flight was cancelled and I should contact the company who sold the ticket… No explanation, nothing. I was at work and couldn t call back so my daughter did it. They didn t give her any explanations either and proposed an AF/Delta flight from Paris CDG, and for the return a fllght with 2 connections i/o 1! They didn t offer any compensation nor informed her of her rights. My daughter is young and inexperienced and didn't ask for anything. She absolutely had to be in San Jose on the 30th, so we drove her to Paris and she took the replacement flight. The worst thing is that I learnt later that all Delta flights from Brussels (except to JFK) have been cancelled for 3 months. and will be for at least a year. Why weren't we advised much earlier ?
I filled in a complaint form on KLM's site, but no news yet.
