Dad died at age 90, while in a nursing home waiting for the completion of his Handicap accessible home. During this time April Malloy refused to hire more than one person to work. Except for about 5 percent of the time. She also refused to work on and visit the site regularly (She has been on the site a handful of times).
April Malloy鈥檚 General Contractors license was expired from 12/31/15 till on or about 8/25/16. However, she continued work on my home.
On 8/12/16 Showed April the DOB website that the permit was not there.
On 8/16/16 My architect Confirmed that we didn鈥檛 have a permit to build.
On 8/9/16 April Malloy tells me If I don鈥檛 accept her unlicensed, uninsured Electrician I can find my own.
On 8/9/16, I called the DOB and they said if she doesn鈥檛 correct the permit situation and there is work being done they will send emergency inspectors to the site and shut me down. They threaten and stated that all work that is not permitted needs to be removed. They said she has insurance but. She has to appear to fix the problem.
She was fired on 8/10/16, and she refused to stop work until 8/11/16.
I have requested accounting records since day one. She has only provided an AIA with some figures, stating I need 100,000.00 more and another estimates for an additional 300, back in March.
Despite multiple requests for receipts, accurate accounting, information on my escrow account, bids, etc. she has refused.
April Malloy never gave me any information concerning my escrow account for my job.
I never received any description of the goods that were purchased.
