Conns will take your Name, adress, address, number and email then your credit card number and once it has acquired as much info I can tlfrom you to sell. It will not process your order. I TRIED to purchase a laptop from Conn's and once it got all my info and processed my transaction I was upset to receive an email saying my product was out of stock. There was no prior mention that the laptop was out of stock. To make matters worse I've received emails the last 2 days saying they think I'd like to buy some items and one of the items on the email list is the Laptop im trying to buy but they are out of stock but are still advertising as I stock to get as much personal info to sell. Very disappointed and a very unprofessional business. Don't trust and canceling my cards immediately! Will post again if there's fraud.

I would leave no stars if I could. They are overly eager to get you to buy stuff when you walk through the front door. Some days they appear like sharks circling their prey. They are gone just as quick when I tell them I am there paying a bill.
We bought a dishwasher and a fridge from them. I haven't been able to determine if they sold us a used fridge or if it were damaged upon installation. The company THEY use did damage several wall corners and a door jam moving the items in. Conn's will only hand out a number to call, ducking any responsibility – like being responsible for using the company to begin with. The company puts all the responsibility on Conns. So much for customer service.
Pics show the damaged and crooked fridge door as well as the missing interior lens. It was broken so they simply taped it up. It kept falling so it was removed. Shoddy work, poor customer service, no interest in taking responsibility for their actions. Will NEVER shop there again!

Their Name says it all! Conn Artists! When you buy 2 reclining Sofas and a reclining chair, they'll break, destroy your wood floors, then they'll tell you it's your fault you used them more than once per day… #connartists #buyanywhereelsebutatconns

My fiance bought a TV and playstation from Conn's in Colorado Springs. He went in to make a payment January 2020. Rico took the payment… it was for $72 and change. My fiance told Rico that amount wasn't correct but Rico insisted it was. Then not even 2 days later, Conns starts calling my fiance about a missed payment, he went in, figuring he just owed the rest of the $132 we usually pay, but come to find out, our payment of $72 was put on some guys account named Jeff. Conns has made us jump through hoops to get our money back or put on our account… phone calls to managers, Kyle to be exact, phone calls to billing customer service, screenshots emailed to Conns, and they've had us do it more than once. It's now October 2020 and Conns still has not refunded our money or applied it to our account, yet they're blowing up my finance's phone for 62 cents. $72 is a lot of money for our family. The run around they've given us for almost a year is so frustrating. If you buy from Conns make sure they have the right account for in store payments, because you'll never get that money back.

I went to conns to lease a computer for school (HP), which I absolutely love by the way. Fast forward to 2019 when I was in transition to another job and could not make the onetime payment for the two months I was pending my job offer when CONNS continued to call me and harass me when I already advised them of the situation. Somehow, they contacted my grandma and provided her with information (false by the way) saying I did not pay the television off that I bought from them and I am extremely behind. I called and explained that they are provided financial information to an authorized party (completely illegal by the way) and nothing was done about it except an "I am sorry" and the calls to her stopped. In September of 2020 I received a letter about payment options to close my opened account and to give them a call back; mind you I was also receiving emails as well. I called Conns to do a payment set up to get my account closed when the gentleman asked for not only my account number & routing number but my debit card information in case the payment was not processed and I received an email from the company/collections department with the agreement and all. On 09/27/2020 I called Conns because my first 100.00 dollar payment was not pulled from the account/credit card and the female representative told me the payment was processed and provided a verbal confirmation. Today, October 4,2020 I called again because the payment was still not showing on my bank statement which was concerning. When I spoke to the male representative he said, "they had an "error" message about too many false attempts ( I am not sure what that means) that they no longer could process it and needed all my banking account information again." Question, why was I told it was processed and provided a confirmation number? Why was I not contacted if it was in "collections" and needed to pay the agreed amount via email or phone like they had been doing for months?
Loved my product but disappointed in the communication & the false information from Conns. I was told not to use conns because they CONN people but I guess being young and dumb I did not listen. Try to avoid at all costs

My experience with Conns is one of total disbelief! Bought a 600 dollar washing machine supposed to be paid off in 6 months they sent me a payment book for 24 months worth of payments and come to find out they are wanting to charge me 36% interest comfronted the manager about it and it looked like the paperwork had been tampered after that! NEVER GO TO CONNS!

I paid my account off in April of this year, they even submitted it to credit bureau as closed. Well, still shows I owe that amount and no one can help at this company? They call and harass me and say it will be resolved in 3 business days. That never happens! I would never ever purchase from these incompetent people again. Stay away from them. Not only is it over priced but the fees is outrageous. Can someone please do what is right at this company?

This is the biggest most crooked company there is. I called them 8/3 and wanted to pay them off, so I talked to a gentleman he gave me a balance so I proceeded to pay them off. Then a few days later I called and found out that they not only gave me the wrong balance, they put the money in the wrong account, it took days to get it in the right account. Once it was in the right account, I called and paid them another $2046. 00 and they told me it was paid in full. Now, my account shows I owe another $2036. 00. So we are fighting them again, contacting an attorney and we are going to fight tooth and nail to expose they criminals who prey on people and there bank accounts. They have not heard the last of me and by the time this is over they will wish they had not tried to take advantage of me. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, you will never be rid of them, no matter what you do or how much you pay them. BEWARE!

First refrigerator delivered with damage and sent back. Second fridge arrived with no damage but after moved into house there were visible scratches on the freezer door, stainless steel. The process of resolving this issue has been horrible so far…no contact after submitting ticket, then saying "you signed off on it." I explained I signed off prior to it being moved into the house, Conn's says "that's a third party company, not us." They then pass the customer off to this third party company. Everybody at Conn's passes the buck. Not yet resolved. Beware of this predatory company that uses easy credit to lure customers…read the fine print!

In the past 2 weeks my husband and I purchased furniture and a laptop at the store in Goodyear. The staff is friendly and the furniture is great quality. I was told that they had a two-week return policy on the electronics with a 15% restocking fee. When we tried to return the laptop they had so many loopholes that we couldn't return or even exchange it! So be warned that their 14-day return policy is backed up with so much small print that really you can't return anything. So please be cautious when purchasing electronics from Conns. You're better off going to Best buy or any other store that specializes in electronics who will take returns or make exchanges rather than trusting Conn's furniture for this kind of purchase.

I would give negative stars to cons home plus. Delivery is horrible ! I bought a refrigerator almost 2 weeks ago. They came to deliver it and said 鈥渋t wouldn鈥檛 fit through my door鈥?but they didn鈥檛 want to take the doors off which they were told to do when delivering. Anyway, the refrigerator wasn鈥檛 to big at all we went and double measured. They told me they would deliver it again and they never did. I called delivery and they said they can鈥檛 track it, they did not know where it was. So I called the store which I got it from and they said it was in the back so I went to pick it up and then they say it鈥檚 not there. I call everyday to see if they found it or for a refund and they say they can only give a 50% refund… um, I didn鈥檛 receive anything and I paid cash for it. Never use again in life I recommend no one use them ever not even to build credit. I emailed corporate a week ago still no respond. 馃し鈥嶁檧锔?

Having had a tedious in-store interaction many years ago ( Follow you around the store), we happened upon their store in Pasadena Texas 77505 today. Gave them a chance with the actual model number of a fridge/freezer and asked about availability and in black. Salesman had to go to another and look up, didn't recognise the number ( It's the same in Lowes and H.D. and several others) when when we asked about the tax incentive (Texas over Memorial Weekend) no – this doesn't apply !!! Wanted to charge a delivery fee but then said "I can Waiver that for you?" Once again a store full of underperforming personnel, I have been reminded as to why I have not entered one of these stores in over 10 years, they are useless, shame on me! I cannot see them surviving these times.

IF I could put a zero I would. I trusted a 70 year old Larry at AZ Mills Mall/Phx, Arizona, to do due diligence and do great customer service as I purchased $1600 in items, 1st time and last. Their computer system kept messing up when finalizing. NOT once did he restate that my interest rate would incredibly go up if I didn't pay off balance, which would entail like 300% interest, back to original balance. I had 1 more payment to complete my original balance and paid in store the the 11 the payment. Not once did the cashier say, don't forget to pay off your balance. Larry and I had a discussion when I found out I got shafted by "Conns" And said I normally call my customers to remind them, but forgot. They keep sending me increases as they know I pay my payments on time. Really? I recently paid off some furniture through a competitior and they texted me, emailed me left me messages "reminding" Me to pay off the balance so I wouldnt pay for something I didn't own or purchase. Disgusted in this company. Will be taking this to Attorney General.

After reading all the complains and insatosfaction, makes me realize I'm not the only one. Their interest is crazy bad, I paid all my amount but just because I was late on my last payment due to health problems they charged me double the amount I owed. I called and their excuse was that it was on their contract which I signed. But they totally failed to explain in detailed that you were going to pay double the amount of just interest. HORRIBLE STORE, I would never recommend anyone to buy from here!

ZERO STARS! THEY LOST MY LUMP SUM PAYMENT – NEVER SENT MY SETTLEMENT PAPERWORK THAT I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED IN FEB 2020.
HORRIBLE. WORSE THAN HORRIBLE. paid my balance off in full on February 27, 2020. This balance is moderately large, in the lump sum payment of $927.00- Since this, they have never sent me settlement papers, however they have sent me papers in april requesting me pay the balance that was already paid in feb- those papers also threatened sending my account to a collection agency.
I called conns, spoke with the representative and they assured me that there was no reason for concern, they had flagged my account (that was closed in their office) for underwriters to send me my paperwork stating my balance in full had been paid.
Flash forward to today, May 7 2020 – my account that is paid off is with a collection agency (Sequium) and is being reported to my credit as unpaid.
I have been on the phone with Conns, and Sequium all morning, Conn's can see my notes from all the calls i have made, and can see my account is closed – however they cant find my payment that was made in Feburary anywhere in their systems and i have had to now track down my bank statements to send in to prove their mistakes.
I assume i will never be compensated for all of this, as Conns referred to this as a minor inconvenience, that same representative for Conns (Gloria) refused to put me on the line with a manager or supervisor, and kept promising me she was sending me an email with details of my payments made on this account- however i still have not received this email, she then put me on hold – and transferred me to the collection agency they had sent my closed account too. So after speaking with their (Sequium's) Manager Trent he agreed to allow me to send in my paper work proving this has been paid, once Conn's complies and sends me the paper work.
This clearly is not a minor inconvenience. A minor inconvenience is my pizza not being made on time for a pick up order.
Never in my life would i ever recommend Conns to anyone. They have "lost" my payment, however luckily I have the bank statements and will stay on top of this until it is corrected. I hope other people can see this and really take into consideration how big of a company this is and how this should not be a problem 3 months on down the road from paying off your appliance. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR PAPERWORK FROM CONNS. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY SHADY THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE PROCESS ABOUT MY SETTLEMENT PAPER WORK. I can say from my experience- once I do get my paper work, I will be in an attorneys office faster than you can even imagine.

I purchased a $3,000 dollar mattress from Conn's, and they delivered it to my home with a missing piece so half of my mattress does not work or do the things that it is supposed to do. I have contacted the managers who promised it would be fixed but never fulfilled their word, and after being on hold with corporate for 40 minutes, the lady said it is my responsibility to call the manufacturer of the mattress. I'm sorry but I spend a lot of money at this store and after all my business all of the employees turn me down and tell me to call myself, am I missing something??? First of all, I did not know I was going to be buying a broken product. This is definitely my last purchase from this company and I do not recommend it to anyone anymore.

Willem the OP's manager at the Conn's store in Arlington is awesome. He helped me upgrade to a much better HP laptop because I wanted one with backlighting. He had the best personality such a people person. He was an example of what "great" customer service is all about, I will definitely look for him for future purchases. (Manager or not) He was good!! Great job Mr.Schenk !馃憤

Conn鈥檚 can and will collect 100% interest rate. I have completed my payment of $2400 for the products I selected at Conn鈥檚, in an effort to improve my credit. Due to requested deferments, Conn鈥檚 is now collecting $2400 in interest in which I must pay because I care about my credit. I believe this is unethical but Conn鈥檚 has justified this practice due to the fact that, 鈥淚 signed the contract.鈥?Just would like to warn everyone to please reconsider credit with Conn鈥檚 but if you must take credit and care about your credit scores, please read the contract? Please?

They lie and tell you that you can get Pre-qualified without it impacting your credit. You fill out that form and click the submit button and instantly you get a text message saying if you want to know about your credit to write back the words enroll. The page your currently on though still says processing like it鈥檚 almost buffering and waiting for your response to their text message. You think it鈥檚 a security measure or some sort. You instantly respond enroll. Then all of a sudden your credit alerts start to go off if you are signed up to any credit monitoring agencies free or paid for. Did you try to obtain credit? Was this you? Inquiry alert. You鈥檙e like WTH? They said no impact on credit. They just lied and fooled you when you responded to that pathetic text message that lead you into believing it was all part of the process to see if you can be qualified without impacting your credit. Now you got an ugly and unfair inquiry showing on your report. What can you do? Well good luck disputing it. Actually disputing it will probably freeze your credit bureaus causing harm down the road for potential good business with other creditors. No one wants to do business with someone that has been marked to potential fraud. Victim or not, you鈥檙e a credit risk now. I know, it鈥檚 a bunch of BS Bull. You can file a complaint with the CFPB short for consumer financial protection bureau which is supposed to be a government website to help consumers with complaints with shady companies like this one. The complaint will sit forever or maybe a response will be made and it鈥檚 usually some sorry A** excuse. They will say you gave them permission and authority. The CFPB will just close it out and tell you they had recorded it or whatever. I鈥檓 still new at this and I will hopefully one day find a way for them to stop checking people鈥檚 credit under false pretenses. It鈥檚 fraud and it鈥檚 wrong. Heck even after that whole mess happened, 5 months later I get a piece of crap letter saying I鈥檓 Pre-approved of at least 2,000. With a gold plastic card glued with that snot stuff on the back to this misleading fraudulent letter with stars imprinted with their 130th anniversary celebration. Anniversary for what? Not sure because I鈥檓 sure they had been divorced plenty of times. They wanted me to go to Conns com/activate.Their own site says NULL

I purchased a washer and dryer from Conn's in 2017 and after making payments on time every single month, I paid my last payment November 20, 2019 on November 25, 2019 I received an email that my payment was returned from the bank but they would put it back through I didn't need to do anything knowing I had the money in my account I assumed there was an error with the submission of the payment. After that I never heard anything else and early January I received an alert from my credit company saying the account was closed and paid in full. Fast forward to the end of January they start blowing up my phone saying my payment was returned in NOVEMBER!!! I never received anything from anyone until the end JANUARY!! They then said I owed almost double what my final payment was! They didn't notify me until almost three months later at that time they offered me a settlement of almost the original payment which I paid in February and have the confirmation number. Then in March they message me again saying I owe more money. So I call and they said it takes time to update. Then I get an alert in early APRIL from my credit monitoring company that they OPENED it back up on my credit and put I was 30-59 days late and shows I owe $55. I call customer service and have been told by two agents while waiting for a manager that the account is closed!! So why was it reported yesterday not only did it screw up my 100% payment history that I have worked so hard to keep it dropped my credit score 73 points!! Do not ever use this place they are Cons and all of the reviews I have read prove the same!! Someone needs to put these people out of business!!!! In April I posted a review to BBB in which the lady told me my payment was returned because my bank account was closed so why wouldn't they call and tell me that instead of saying they would run it through again?? I didn't realize until she said that in April so I went back to the November receipt and realized that I clicked the wrong bank account that was still saved in there. After contacting them they wouldn't help me. Then last week my dryer starts going out so I call to get service on my dryer that I paid a warranty on and was good through May 2021 and was informed because my last $80 payment was late they canceled my three year warranty that I paid $300 for which was well paid for by then. She tells me they will send someone out for a fee. They took my money and canceled my warranty that I had a year and a month left on!! This company has the right name they are crooks!
