We bought a flight through CompassFlights that was cancelled months ago because of COVID. We were emailed vouchers for the flight cost to use on a future flight. However, after numerous attempts trying to call the number included in the CompassFlights email to reschedule, we were repeatedly forwarded by a "representative" to a voicemail box that was full and would hang up on us automatically. Also, when the "representative" initially answered the phone, they would just answer with "hello" – no company name or introduction of who was speaking. This is the most unprofessional company I've tried working with. I will definitely not be booking through them ever again.

Absolutely horrible customer service due to covid I had to cancel a planned trip to Japan with a group of friends. After multiple e-mails back and forth with compass and United telling me im eligible for a refund nothing. I called United they told me that there was nothing they could due and said that a refund was available for my flight but compass has to call them in order for them to get the refund so compass can collect the refund and send it to me. United gave me compass number to contact for getting my refund started I called the number some lady picked up speaking an Asian language I asked for someone in english and they hung up on me multiple times. I emailed compass and told them I contacted United and that they told me I'm eligible for a refund and that no one from compass has even attempted to get a refund for the flight compass then sends me a BS e-mail saying we are currently chasing United for a refund but in good faith I'll put you refund through to our refund department then they tell me to send my full name the name of my bank and the number on my credit card front and back with the expiration date. Only an idiot would actually do that they already received all the information from me that they would need when I made the purchase. So now I have to file a fraud claim 8 months after the purchase and hope my bank is cool enough to give me the money back. Absolutely horrible the fact that United even does business with them and weren't willing to help even a little bit has made me lose faith in them they have for ever lost my business as well I'll gladly buy a more expensive ticket to avoid both United and compass in the future. Hopefully people read these reviews before they make a purchase with them pony up the extra money and buu direct with the airlines.

I booked an American Airlines flight with Compass Flights. American has a highly restricted class called "Basic Economy" below Economy that I wanted to avoid. On the website I confirmed that the fare was Economy and received an email confirmation for American Airlines Economy. When I called AA to get seat assignments I found out it was "Basic Economy". I spoke with Compass Flights and exchanged a number of emails with them in which they consistently ignored my detailed explanation and continued to repeat that I bought an Economy fare and if I wanted something different I should have called them! Avoid Compass Flights at all cost!

What is wrong with this website? From past two days I am seeing 11-12 different flights that I would like to book, everytime I open it says 鈥減rice verify failed. Please go back and reselect fight鈥? Like for all of them. You call customer care and they said it鈥檚 website fault , try again later. They says they can鈥檛 do anything at all. Like if it鈥檚 websites fault from 2 days, can anyone actually fix it? Or is it not a website at all? Just a scam?

Very unprofessional, not responsible , hasty preople . ….
They do not care about customer
be aware from them … They say 24/7 customer service which is a big lie …
I am very sad to buy tickets from them . I regret very much even to think they are honest . Once my paiement was received, it was 3910.59 usd , they issue my tickets and send them to my email .
The bad part that another email comes after few minutes;

2. Government issued ID for the cardholder;
3. Credit card charge form as attached (Please fill up the form with cardholder signature).

He gaves me until 16:00 to provide documents.
He did not care or even think that his email could not be read in the time given (50 minutes only)
Please read carefully :
he asked:
for my credit card copy from both side to be sent by email
could you even think that ? Anyone could believe that
When I read the email, It was around 19h25 .
The tickets were already canceled
For what ? For no one reason at least.

They have my money until this time . They did not revert the transaction to get back my money.
They did not answer my request to call me back after sending many mails ,
or to give a valid phone number to talk with them directly by phone .
All I get 2 answers , the first they were sorry and giving apologies. Their reason was the following: ( copy paste from email ) :

Sorry for the late reply and we are so sorry for any inconvience.
Too many fraudulent orders make us very cautious.
Too many fraudulent orders with large amounts of money have caused our company great losses.
Due to credit card security reasons, we have to contact you to provide the information.
And it's our fault for the very little time limitation. Sorry again for the inconvenience."

This was their first answer
The second :

"Sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that we can not issue the ticktets due to our ticketing time restriction.
In this case,we will refund the full amount back to the original payment method(please expect 1-3 business days to receive the refund).
Please feel free to contact me

What about my money
It should be returned upon cancellation ; shouldn't it ?
Asked my bank ; and they said they should provide proof of reversing the transaction and it could take 5 days .
My credit card limit was 5000 $ and they took 3910,59 for no tickets. They violated all my rights . They violated everything.
I have still only around 1000$ as available Balance to be used in my credit card.
I cannot buy anymore even another a part of ticket with this balance.
I Should wait until they return my money.
What they do :
Broke my plans, broke my summer vacation, took my money, loosing my effort for hoors of being watching good fares and time to buy ,
Etc… Now fare raise 200$ for each ticket.
Means that a loss of 600 $ for 3 tickets was noted today Sunday at the time of writing this review 19:30 Montreal time. They caused to me moral damage and they don't care .
Until this time they never answered my request for a call between us.
In the name of the respected law in Canada , could you accept this violation caused to me and my family by this travel agency registered with Tico.ca
Any lawyer , Any judge , any Tico member, please and kindly take note of this to prevent another customer from a such situation.
Please dear friends who are reading this, I have nothing against those people and I've never knew them before . This is exactly what happened to me without any twist for the reality.
I've bought before and many times the same tickets from another reputable sites ( will not give their names here for not use as a pub) with the same credit card this never arrived to me .
I am so frustrated, so sad , because to save few $ I made a mistake to buy from unknown people that are shameless asking for a copy a credit card both side which is illegal by the law. They have no value for the people who trust they by bying from them they have no pity.
I want to add that the travel date was on the 16th of june 2019 . They have enough time to investigate if they suspected something.
They should investigate before issuing tickets.
They played very well the role and scam and fraud me just to get my money for few days .
They could give more time to investigate before canceling especially the date of travel way in a week and reporting the incident to police.
So why they quickly act without even giving a call .
They always have bad intentions thinking that all people are fraudulent.
This what was said clearly in their first email .
What I can tell you is Be aware. …
Tomorrow after calling tico , I will call the "24h" newspaper which is distributed free in the metro station to talk about my expression and to show them all the proof I have . Statement, e-mails, call record , everything then by them I will ask to complaint for the damage that made to us

I used Compass Flights website few days ago and I liked their service. The website is easy to use and helped me find best deal for a Canada to US flight. I will keep them bookmarked for future use. Thanks ~ Beth
