Very good service start to finish. When we had a problem with our hotel, Collette stepped in straight away and moved us to new hotel. The mark of a good company is how promptly they react.

I would recommend Collette Tours and I would use them again. Our tour guide鈥檚 attention to detail and her personal care for her group was outstanding.

The tour was well organised and safe. During the troubles in Chilie, they moved us to safe area and compensated for lack of walking tour (we had bus tour) with lovely meal. The tour guide was great, always making sure we were happy. She took care of everything so we didn鈥檛 have to think of flight time check in or anything like that. Just made it easy.
The tour itself was fantastic. So many countries in just three weeks. And so much to see. They really packed lots in so felt got great value for money.
The best for me was going to Patagonia which lots tour operators don鈥檛 do. Patagonia was really great. Best bit was seeing Peurto Mareno glacier plus the hour long boat ride to see the side of that glacier.

Reliable helpful and trusted staff from day of enqueries to booking. Nothing is too much. Although not easy to get through via telephone, staff had always return calls and answered any worries or queries we had.
Tour manager and driver were excellent and knowledgable. Mark Godin and Peter was extremely helpful with everyone and nothing was too much.

This tour was an unforgetable adventure from day 1. Ricardo, our tour guide was enthusiastic, organised, informative, friendly and fun-all in the right measure. We had a change to our tour, due to the political issues in Santiago, Collette were 'all over it' and re-organised things so we picked up the planned tour asap…no mean feat booking 31 additional flights, hotel rooms etc. In fact, we think what we ended up was a better experience. Cannot fault anything-thank you to all the behind the scenes people who managed this. We had a fantastic group of positive people, which also contributed to a brilliant 23 days.
An amazing continent to explore, great people in each of the 4 countries we visited, it would be wrong to point to a highlight, as there were so many to choose from. The diversity in experiences, cultures and scenery was exceptional. We learnt, saw, felt, tasted and experienced so much, a life changing holiday. It has been hard to come back to reality, I could do it all again!! That's a sign of a great tour. This is not a tour for people who dont like to walk, climb and be outdoors. The duration is long and can be tiring, but having 2-3 nights in most places is a good plan. Altitude in the sacred valley is a strange experience and some people had quite bad symptoms-so something to think about, but providing you hydrate, take things easy, walk slowly and give your body time to aclimatise the majority of people were fine. Something to think about, but not to prevent you seeing some amazing, jaw dropping scenery.

Overall the trip was very well organised with excellent and knowledgeable tour guides. We also felt safe due to the high level of security provided. The hotels were of high standard with an excellent choice of food and the coaches were also of high standard and comfortable. We saw and experienced some fantastic sights both in Egypt and Jordan.
The boat on the Nile cruise was not of a high standard it was tired and the very small gym did not have any of the equipment working, as a balance the food and entertainment on the boat was very good. It was also not pleasant to be berthed between other boats which blocked any view from the cabin when we woke up.

The trip was very exhausting with early starts to catch flights and leave the hotel. So although we stayed in excellent hotels there was no time to enjoy the facilities or breakfast if you had dinner at 8pm and had to be up at 3am.
A major gripe were the breakfast packs when we had to leave early and could not enjoy breakfast in the hotel. The pack consisted of a cold drink, a cake and a piece of fruit. Very poor value for money and as a replacement for a full breakfast, the hotels could do much better.

The program was well thought of and the sites were well worth visiting.

I was stressed with one night stays and suggest to change it to min 2 night stays in the hotels, and 2 pieces of luggage handling- a few of us were proceeding further on our trips..

When my BA flight to South America was cancelled the Collette flights team found me an excellent alternative with no stress.
The provision of information about the tour was timely and comprehensive.

An excellent tour which included some new sights for us as well as revisiting some highlights from a previous tour. However some days were poorly structured (eg a 鈥渓unch鈥?stop in Vail at 11.00 before any restaurants had opened) and we (along with many other passengers) would have liked more time in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.

Having travelled with Collette before to South Africa and thought the tour 1st class we had no hesitation in booking with them to visit South America. Unfortunately, this tour didn鈥檛 live up to high standard already set.
On arrival in Santiago we couldn鈥檛 find our transfer arranged by Collette and very nearly fell victim to the scam that cost one of our fellow travellers $200 when she couldn鈥檛 find her transfer and took an taxi who claimed he had been sent instead. After about an hour of hanging about the arrivals hall our transfer suddenly appeared and claimed that he had been there all the time looking for us. Not sure how 3 of us missed him and his Colette board or how he could have missed us with our Collette straps round our suitcases.
On the tour of Santiago, we spend an hour in rush hour traffic going nowhere fast just to drive round the newer area of Santiago getting shown some buildings that had no great relevance. This meant that the more interesting parts were rushed or omitted. Had the tour started an hour later we would have missed the rush hour and had time to properly see the city.
Our bus failed to turn up when we arrived in Puerto Varas airport and we had to hang about for an hour while our excellent tour guide Andi arranged an alternative.
When we went to checkin for our flight from Iguazu to Rio, 2 of us were told that our flight was booked without luggage and if we wanted to see our suitcases in Rio we needed to pay 240 Reals (about 拢50). Despite this obviously being a mistake by Collette, we had to pay this ourselves as the tour guide didn鈥檛 seem to have a contingency fund for emergencies and it took almost 3 weeks for the money to be refunded.
The tour covered a lot of territory and on the whole the local guides were knowledgeable. The tour manager Andi was very attentive and looked after us well.
The hotels on the tour were of a very good standard and well located to allow you to explore on your own apart from the one in Rio which was located at the far end of Lebon beach and a bit isolated. It was a 30 minute walk to restaurants and shops which was ok in daylight but wouldn鈥檛 do it at night so a taxi was required.
Unfortunately, this tour fell short of our expectations meaning that Collette wouldn鈥檛 necessarily be our 1st choice for our next trip.

This was my third trip with Collette. It was an incredible experience and I loved every minute of it.It was brilliantly organised by the company and led by the tour manager Luis who could not be faulted. I saw so much of Spain in such a short period of time without ever feeling rushed. The small sized group made it easy for us all to get to know each other. The hotels were well chosen and offered very good accommodation.I prefer to go with this American company rather than any of the English ones as the experiences offered are so many and varied.I will be going with them again next year.

As on previous Collette holidays we found everything very satisfactory. Only the MH Matera Hotel gave us any cause for criticism, because there was a dangerous 3 legged chair on the patio area and when we commented to reception, there was very little response. We think he may not have been able to speak English, but he made no attempt to help us. The young lady from housekeeping was much more helpful. All other hotels were really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days in Rome in between the Sicily and Italian Vistas combined holidays. We went to discover where my father was during the WWII period (he's no longer with us to ask him about it) and the Allied Forces Landing Museum was extremely interesting. Our two Tour Managers, Francesca Vacca and Heather Villamaino went above and beyond expectations to help us all. Heather managed to overcome the difficulties with the arrival at the Baglioni Hotel in Florence, exceptionally well, when all the cases were delivered to the wrong rooms. Francesca was extremely helpful in finding Taxis for us to visit Termoli on the east coast, which is where my father lost his left leg in a battle during the war, and we have nothing but praise for her endeavours throughout the whole of the Sicily – Southern Italy holiday. We are most grateful to both of them as well as our excellent drivers – Massimo and Rafaelle.

Thank you all at Collette for your excellent holiday programme.
