My biggest qualm is their loyalty program. It used to be mycokerweards.com but then was moved to the rewards tab of the coke.com website. Their new program makes sense just simply being on the coke website as opposed to it's own which is about all that makes sense regarding this new program. The previous versions of code rewards allowed you to enter points. You enter a cap you get 3 points, you enter the code from a 12 or 24 pack you get a larger amount of points (don't remember how many anymore). These points could be saved and a catalog of rewards was available. They had some really cool stuff, coke memorabilia, and most of the time gift cards (usually amazon sometimes others). Some thing cost a lot of points and some didn't. But you knew you could keep drinking coke products and entering points to save for whatever you want. The put a limit of 75 points a week but you could always save un-entered codes from one week and enter them another. This way loyal customers could be rewarded with greater prizes by continuing to do what they already did… be loyal customers.
I was very disappointed to find their new rewards site is mostly just for throwing points away on chance. No matter how loyal a customer I am, no matter how many bottles/cans of coke products I buy I still have no greater chance of getting things a actually want. I can't enter points to save for something just throw away points on meaningless drawings. Not only that even if you usually buy 24 packs of cans you get 1 code which means only 1 entry for each 24 drinks you buy. If you buy 6 pack of bottled soda you get 6 entries because instead of points they have switched to entries and it's 1 per code.
I asked coke at the beginning about their rewards which seemed sparse and they told me they will expand their offerings after a few months and there will be new rewards from time to time so just keep watching the site for ones I like. We'll it's been nearly a year and here's what I've seen. Many of the drawings I had even a feigning interest in we ones that were specific to certain brands. For example you had to visit certain restaurants to get entries or you can only enter codes from certain drink lines like only codes from sprite or only regular coke, etc… To me a loyal coke drinker of many years who drinks primarily only diet coke or occasionally diet cherry coke that excluded me from participating in the loyalty programs. Not cool Coke, not cool.
The majority of their rewards are just junk. Entries to to chances to win stuff nobody cares about or their staple and consistent offerings which usually cost 10-12 code entries for 1) a 1 year magazine subscription… do people even read magazines anymore? 2) some sort of photo junk from shutterfly. Their not even an ideal photo service and way overpriced it's just a "free" hook to get you to buy more. 3) a coupon for a free popcorn at AMC theaters.
Over the Christmas season they offered $5 Amazon gift cards but you could only redeem 2 per account. So I waited 6 months for a decent reward saved a giant bag of caps waiting for things worth redeeming and still could only use a small amount to redeem a total of $10 gift cards. Now, if they had opened that up so it wasn't limited to 2 per account that would have been at least a little better, it would have at least felt like I had waited and my continued loyalty and patience was finally paying off… but, no. I had hoped maybe this was the start of their return to offering decent rewards again. Maybe limited to 2 per account but maybe you could do a new set every month or two at least, again seems like no. Those codes were 20 for $10 worth of gift cards. Now they are offering a reward which you can get a $3.99 credit (for a movie rental basically) but you have to use 25 codes! Those codes have to be used on their other drawings (most of which are crap) so you have a "chance" of getting more than the $3.99 but to me this is 25 codes=$3.99 vs 20 codes = $10 and it shows me how little coke values me as a customer.
I'm waiting to see the better rewards that should have rolled out over time but I don't see anything more than half a year into this and I have serious doubts about seeing any in the future. If I don't see any rewards worth my time in the next 6 months this might be the final push I need to just quite soda all together. The only things keeping me a soda drinker are that its my only source of caffeine and the rewards that I used to get from coke. Now the rewards are not sufficient to keep me hooked and the health benefits of quitting soda are high compared to the only benefit it's providing me which is caffeine. Water and caffeine pills might be a better use of my money and time especially after their ugly new brand redesign.

Coke has switched to sweepstakes entries as a reward, don't hold your breath thinking your going to win, slim chance if any.
Shutterfly rewards? Verizon rewards? Sweepstake entry? LOL. This has got to do with Coke making money on their idea of giving back to their loyal customers. Of course these companies are paying Coke to advertise on their site and reward program. What a scam Coke is running to think people can't see through this.
Those that have stopped buying Coke products such as myself, I applaud you.
Say hello to the numerous competitors out there, Coke is not THE REAL THING anymore.
