I have a CISinks CISS system for two (2) Brother MFC-J870DW and for an HP Photosmart 7510… love em all… just one problem, I am starting to get low, and need to purchase refill bottles (Dye type ink, I think) My Brothers take the LC103 and 101 carts…. but with the kits I have already saved a TON of money…

I was looking for empty refillable ink cartridges for my sublimation printer. The site was difficult to navigate making it challenging to find what i was looking for. Then, when i found the ones that would fit (by picture) it said refillable. I thought i was purchasing empty ones. instead it seams I purchased the ones filled with "germany material dye ink". Now if i want to return it, i have to pay return shipping plus a 15% restocking fee. I might as well keep them. At this point it would cost more to ship them back. Good job CISinks for finding a way to keep your money.

Please read from bottom to top-

The order was purchased in back in March, it is too far back to issue the return for a refund.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you,
Angie

Dear Angie- CISinks
If you look at the time line of occurrences below, attempts were made to try to get this ink system to function, you offered
ideas to correct and they did not work, so your offer below to return within 30 days does not help me to recover my monetary loss.
Please choose a different solution for my monetary loss.
Sincerely,
Leroy

I've confirmed this by swapping original Epson cartridges back in. Prints look sharp. I've tried the Continuous ink system several times since and it goes right back to being a blurry, wavy mess. I've made sure there's no interference with the carriage moving. I've done head cleanings, realignments, making sure the cartridges are full seated, purging air from the system etc. Nothing helps. Is there anything you can do to rectify the situation? As it stands, this system is useless.

Bought the four pack of the refillable cartridges for my brand new Hp designjet t520 plotter. I like to have a back up on hand. The cyan arrived leaking and would not hold ink. When I contacted the company their response was you'll have to buy another one. None of
the four work. This is an absolute piece of sh*&*&t.

Purchased these ink tanks and ink a while back so I would have them when I ran out. Just tried to use them. The printer displays that they are NOT Epson inks and will not work. I opened a trouble ticket with Cisinks.com. After I sent them a picture of the printer model and a picture of the mailing label that the inks came in, their response to my problem was:

"Thank you for providing the requested information. It looks like your order was from 2017. The average life of the refillable cartridges is about 1.5 – 2 years as the chips will eventually stop working. You will have to replace the cartridges as the current ones will no longer work."

Keep in mind that I have never refilled them and I just tried to use them. This is apparently how they make money. Tell the customer to throw away a product that they just started to try to use and have them buy replacements.

Do not buy any of this companies products. Their product ruined my printer and I had to spend another $300 on a new print. The company would do nothing to stand behind their product. I called several time and and they would take no responsibility for the damage done to my printer by their bulk ink system. DON'T DO IT. plus you don't need all black ink to print good films any ways.

Total garbage most of the cartridges I have tried have failed horribly after a short time. I bought a set for my Brother MFC printer and which the site says they support. After receiving it the black ink cartridge is not recognized. Contacted support and they did send a new chip set…LOL problem is they are the same code as the failed ones. Now support is saying they don't support the printer although it is still on their site.

If your going to be in business then know what your selling.

Next step is to contact the Attorney General and ask them to investigate the seller. Way to many negative complaints about bad or non functioning product.

I've gotten a few different cartridges. If the ink runs past normal levels you will have to fight your printer to recognize the cartridges or that they do in fact have ink in them. I tried to post a review but it never shows up.

June 22nd 2017 5:37 in the morning the beginning of a normal day for me. I just purchased two continuous ink systems with the professional ink from CIS inks. A lot of the negative reviews that I read are either disgruntled employees who are mad at their job or their life, or they just don't have brains big enough to figure out that you're making a modification to a printer which is out of the ordinary. Believe me people, setting up one of these CIS systems is not rocket science. First of all there are a couple of things you need to make sure that you know about. I see a lot of people complaining about the ink that they're using and the paper is not accepting the ink and it's not printing anything and have bad chips and the customer's service is lousy, WOW!!!. Is that all you have to do with your life is sit around and look for things to help make your life more miserable than it already is. I'm going to give you a little bit of advice and maybe a little bit of help. Now I agree their search engine on the left side of the page when you sign in here is a little bit difficult to understand at first but if you hit the positive arrows going down and your wanting to do dye sublimation using dye sublimation inks for example, look for the Inks that are listed as PROFESSIONAL. And I say that with a capital P professional inks are what you're looking for. The second thing you want to look for is the DYE sublimation paper. Dye sublimation paper is not specific to certain printers regardless what anybody tells you. They're all coated
of the same, a polymer mixture of a formula I am working on marketing myself. Third thing is you should go with the recommended printers that are listed on these site. Not printers from Joe Schmucks backyard garage but major corporation printers that have been in business for years like Epson and Cannon. Everywhere you look on the internet you'll find Epson c88 printers Epson WorkForce 30 printer Epson 7610 printers. Why do you think all of these printers are highly recommended for printing everyday office documents or for dye sublimation. It's because they work. I don't care what kind of printer you buy whether it's from Frankie's flea market or from Amazon look into the companies that actually build these printers. There are people out there that purchase these systems looking for a miracle to happened who can't distinguish the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver much less install a CIS system which is not really a major deal it's actually a no-brainer. Everywhere you go on YouTube will tell you that you may get a message about not being able to read the cartridges. There's YouTube videos about damaging the chips when you install the cartridge system and taking it out. there's videos about the air plugs and the air vents and the type of printer that your using about the sensors the priming and so on and so forth. So before you start jumping on CIS and there lousy customer service read the instructions and get a life. Every single time that I have called CIS inks I received nothing but professional attitudes and assistance. they answered the phone with in two rings we're extremely helpful on what I needed and told me that if I needed anything else to call them right back and a couple of times I did and when I think of it, they were really stupid questions that I had for them that I could have answered myself I just didn't take the time to do that little bit of extra research. Stop your whining and take your toys and go home to your mommy and if you can't figure out how to do something this simple after all the videos and instructions and customer support you can get on the internet. Or get out of the business and go back to playing bridge or Spades or blackjack. Better yet just go sit in your room and pout. Were you the kind of people that got beat up when you had your lunch money taken away and you're mad at the world ? Get over it get a life keep your damn opinions to yourself. I am not paid by CIS inks nor do I endorse them as a number one business in the United States I live in South Carolina and I order from California, go figure. The response you get from people in your life is the way that you talk to them and if you talk to them the way you write these reviews, like whiney little I want my baba, I don't blame them for not wanting to help . put your pacifier back in your mouth. If I hurt everybody's feelings, I'm glad. CIS inks, all ll I can say is if they had a 10 rating I would give you a 10 on your ratings cuz you've been nothing but great. thank you for all your help, all your support, and I'll continue to do business with you regardless of what these idiots out here have to say have a great day.

I used it on my Epson Xp420. The product needs a good amount of tweaking to specific printer. This is a great idea however did not deliver smooth operation. My printer changed completely from day 1, I installed it, the noise was too loud wasn't able to close my printer because of the tubes were not able to route through the paper outlet. I had to head clean almost ever time I used very unfortunately I was not able to print one print with a decent quality without blurs or missing dots. Customer service is bad I have called for a return , instead of giving the address for return he said he will email in an hour and did not return the email. Anyway the bad part is my printer shut down I had to buy a new printer
This happened to me may be its my printer, may be me, may be the product I got was not good benefit of doubt. That's what I think and this is my experience.

More than everything they did not refund my money back after returning the product within 30 days.

I purchased refillable cartridges for HP. I didn't use them right away, and when I tried to used them they would not work. They sent me new chips, but the chips are not even like the ones shown in the instructions they sent me. Since I had been without me printer for almost a week, I asked for a refund. They guy on the phone said no, and that he would call me back tomorrow. Tomorrow is too late for me, I will have to go purchase ink.

I had previously bought a continuous ink system for a Brother printer, and it worked fine. But now I find out that if there is a problem, they don't care. Of course they have lost a customer for life. I just hope that by writing this I can keep others from buying from them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I installed a CIS on my NEW printer and it has become more of a mess than anything. Now, my printer keeps giving me an error. I think it ruined it. The tubes get caught in the Cannon MX922. Customer service was no help and told me that they were on the phone with me too long and needed to help other customers! Really? DON'T USE!

I bought two CIS systems for two different Epson printers. Neither worked, and they turned my printers into big printer-shaped bookends. Avoid this company like the plague. Seriously. Unless you want to spend $$$$$$$ on new printers.

I purchased several Continuous Ink Systems from CIS Inks. The first one I purchased several years ago worked as stated, and I was happy about that. When that printer finally gave up the ghost, I bought another Continuous Ink System for my new printer (Epsons, because they work the best with Continuous Ink Systems). In fact, I planned ahead, and purchased another Continuous Ink System for another printer.

Both systems failed. The first failed after one week. The second never worked. As I have used their products before, I already knew how to install them. Well, both their products not only failed, they destroyed my printers so that I can't use them with even the original cartridges.

When I contacted CIS Inks, they were NOT helpful, and in fact, so rude, they basically gave me the electronic middle finger.

Word to the wise: AVOID THIS COMPANY. I plan on reporting them to the BBB, not that it will matter to CIS Inks. They do not seem to care that they are ripping off customers. I'm willing to bet that there are agencies that would care, however. It is companies like this who make the whole Continuous Ink System business look bad.

First of all, complaints about service don't remotely comport with the service I've experienced. I have found it surprisingly remarkable for our online age. I can't imagine I got any red carpet treatment. I suspect its plug-and-play buyers and no CIS system is quite that. My experience with their service is below. I do think the call has to be issue and solution centered and not one of "what are you going to do about this" calls.

I have had two Cisinks systems on two Epsons over three years and have no problems with the either beyond the cantankerous fussing from the printer that it is not Epson's ink. Wandering here for a moment, I understand Epsons are now one of the easiest printers to avoid manufacturer sabotage with. they fuss about the CIS system but will recognize it and let you proceed. HP, I understand is the worst for sabotage, but I have no direct experience with HP. There have been some court cases barring this activity by manufacturers. The internet tells me Lexmark seems to be the most bizarre in showing up in courts trying to block CIS systems. Sorry to have wandered.

The Cisinks systems I have purchased were both external feed systems; not the refillable cartridges that seem to be a puzzlement here. I will say that my type of system, external fed, regardless of supplier, is not for the plug-and-play set and not for those who aren't comfortable and competent jerryriggers with the cute little tool kits to match. You are messing with your printer and the routing of the supply tubes is going to be a remodel. Supply line routing is the most ubiquitous cause of grinding as one reviewer above complained. Those lines, if they interfere with the whizzing print head, your printer is going to squawk and grind to a quick shutdown. All the manufacturers installation YouTubettes are their own take on routing, heed them, but you're on your own to make them clear. But printers are not all that delicate; people are forever leaving things like pencils, removed cartridges and and so forth inside that jamb them up. The printer is made for that and shuts itself down. It doesn't seem reasonable that complaints of grinding from refillable cartridges would have anything to do with a CIS system, regardless of manufacturer, unless perhaps they weren't properly seated in the head and hit something.

My experience with Cisinks' service has been astoundingly fast and easy. I purchased directly from Cisinks, no Amazons etc. Over the years, I've used their phone number and found it to be answered on the second or third ring. A busy signal; wait a minute or so and call back, they're on the phone. It sounds like one of the same two guys answers every time; no switchboard. I think I've been talking to the same guys that are in Cisinks' YouTube videos. Both are courteous to the point of being acquiescent. My problems have been cartridge-recognition issues, which do require a lot of fidgeting and re-installing sometimes over many calls. With my second Epson I did get a protracted recognition problem with the new Cisinks system. No walk-throughs cured it. Finally we concluded it was a bad chip set (gold and green thing). Whether it was inherently flawed or I did it with that battery button; who knows or cares. The system was a new installation, they sent me a new chip set (no cost). I installed it on the cartridges and yes with fidgeting, my Epson fussed, but accepted the Cisinks and its been fine for eight months. I did have a round of dried ink nozzles not CIS related and anybody's solution on the internet cured that, albeit it took days. If I had a "complaint" it would be that the guys told me they would send the chip set Express; it came Priority instead. Of course no postage due.

I purchased a cis = continues ink system – for my Epson WF-3640 printer from CIS-Inks.
It works great , no problems.
I purchase bulk refill bottles of ink and the purchase always is in my mail box quick fast and in a hurry – 3 or 4 days.
I purchased the – long needle syringe set – , makes it easy to extract ink from bulk ink bottles and put ink in external ink printer tanks.
I – Understand and Know – that installation and operation of ink systems Will Require Thinking , Thinking Is Ok With Me.
Making modifications of the printer as required is Ok With Me.

If Less Thinking and Plug and Play is what is important then I recommend the OEM or Remanufactured Cartridges from like Cartridge World and pay big money.
