I hired Chad Mills with Centermark Floors to remodel my kitchen on February 8, 2019. He said the whole renovation would cost $10,400. Through this process he refused to itemize each piece of work. He required $3060 up front to put me on the schedule. In the process of painting the cabinets, he and his crew sprayed the hinges which had damaged the slow closing process of each drawer and cabinet. He partially sprayed inside one cabinet and left a piece of board inside, which left an imprint when removed. He left electrical work undone with exposed wires. When painting the cabinets he left a gray paint stain on the ceiling. He did not install the appliances as noted in his schedules plan. The pantry was left unfinished. He hired young kids in several cases to do the work while he sat in his truck on the phone.I paid him a total of $9560 over a period of one month. On Monday, March 4, 2019 after going back and forth with texting Chad, stated that he would not be coming on Friday due to he did not like to be micromanaged with someone standing over him while doing work.
I had to hire another company, Excutive Remodeling, Christopher Bomba to do backsplash, crown molding and baseboards. I paid Christopher $1625. Also hired Luis Garza to paint 2 cabinet doors, paint the ceiling, remove paint on window, install box for ceiling light and install microwave. I paid Luis $305. A total of $1930 was paid to finish the job Center mark flooring started. I would not recommend this a Centermark Company to my worst enemy. I do not want anyone else to get burned like myself in the process of renovating a room in their home. This should be an exciting time making all things new, not a stressful time causing great tension.
