I鈥檝e only had two boxes so far, my summer intro box and the fall box. So far I haven鈥檛 received anything that I really love. What I want to talk about is the fact that there is barely any communication with this company. This isn鈥檛 my only seasonal subscription box and the other ones send out emails nearly weekly but I can count on my hand how many I鈥檝e gotten from Causebox. I purchased around $80 worth products from the fall sale and have yet to receive them. It鈥檚 a bit ridiculous to order something in August and here it is the middle of October and I haven鈥檛 even received so much as an email about them! I鈥檝e seen other people ask them the same thing on Instagram and they all get the same copy/pasted message. You鈥檇 think when people are spending so much money on your crappy towels you鈥檇 shoot them an email or at the very least let people know if you buy extra stuff don鈥檛 expect it to arrive any faster than it would on the Oregon trail.

Causebox is by far my favourite subscription. I look forward to it every season. It blows my other boxes away. The products are always thought provoking, Ultra trendy and socially responsible. I鈥檓 often stopped and asked where I got Causebox items. It鈥檚 the best $50.00 I spend hands down.

I have subscribed to Causebox for two years and this fall box is the worst I've received yet. First of all, I know that I customized the items and did not receive what I chose. Apparently, this bait and switch tactic is not new to them. The rest of the items that I got were cheap and useless. The whole box stank of some herbal odor and I thought something had spilled but there was nothing in it to spill. It is also taking a really long time for boxes to ship and while I understand that this may be a function of unexpected growth/COVID issues, the company is really not doing anything to address it. They hide behind their "cause" and ask people to be patient with them because of it but that is not an excuse for bad customer service and poor inventory management. I will not be resubscribing.

Didn't like the robe once it arrived. Didn't like that the reusable cotton rounds were from China. That's not a cause to me! No cancelation until next renewal. Now I'm stuck receiving crap for the next year. No returns either.

I wrote to customer service about how I disappointed I was with the items in the fall box. The personal care products have ingredients in them that I cannot use and towels and lantern were poor quality. The cutting board with salad tongs made no practical sense. The value of the items do not seem to add up to the amount I paid and I won't be using any of them. Customer service did not address my concern or allow me to return the products or offer a refund. I was hoping to support small business/ethically sourced products/etc but these items do not add up to the amount paid for the box and I'm not even sure that some of them are handmade as stated. Seems like poor quality control and all they care about is getting your money.

I subscribed for an annual subscription, as I really liked what Causebox stands behind.
Unfortunately, the 2 boxes I have received so far are disappointing. The quality of the bathrobe is poor. The fit hangs and looks like a dish rag.
I have board with tongs is ridiculous as the tongs are far too large and the board far too small. I have not been able to use anything in either box.

I've been a causebox member for about a year now and I can wholeheartedly say that it's one if the best things I've ever found. Such a beautiful subscription service that exposes you to amazing and useful products while teaching you to be a more conscious consumer and more thoughtful about your decisions as it relates to the environment and our communities.
Every season I'm introduced to companies that want to make a difference not just in the world but in my life through their products. Because of causebox, I've helped to plant more trees, save animals from being killed to make bags and other goods, supported cosmetic companies that want to make honest and clean skincare, and even help victim of human trafficking! Each season I receive about 5-7 high quality, full sized items. They are beautifully wrapped and boxed in sustainable packaging and even the box they come in are so lovely that I always repurpose them. Nothing ever goes to waste.
Their social media presence is just as inspiring as the boxes themselves. They're always transparent with their vision, projects, and have been especially open about the transition of their business due to the pandemic.
Their customer service has always been topnotch in my experience and although they give an estimate of the time it would take for them to respond to emails, about 24-72hr depending on the influx of emails they're receiving, I've found that they usually answer well before that time. They are always so kind and courteous and offer very helpful solutions. They are especially good at following up as well.
If you've gotten this far in my review and you haven't signed up yet, go now! You won't regret it. They really are "all that" and more.

I have been a member of Causebox for two years. I have always enjoyed the products I recieved. My teenage daughters are always asking if there is anything I don't like. Usually the items they score are only becuase I already have something similiar. I recently recieved an order with a broken item. This has never happened but I reached out and Patricia was wonderful. Not only did she help me replace the item, she was personable. I could really tell I was exchanging emails with a real person and not a maching or a script. The customer service is outstanding! I appreciate all the products and the great service. Thank you!

I love CAUSEBOX! I tried it out on a whim but every quarter, it's like Christmas only I get an assortment of items that I likely would never buy for myself but that are so special and wonderful they make my week! Being a member also gives me access to the CAUSEBOX Marketplace where I can get great deals on socially responsible items from women-owned, minority-owned and similar companies. It's also a great place to seek out unique gifts that you can feel good about buying. They also give great customer service anytime you need help with ANYTHING. Real people (women) caring for other real people.

Absolutely STELLAR Customer Service! Sadly, you can only give them five stars, but they truly deserve eleven. First, the backstory…I enrolled in Causebox earlier this year because I absolutely love the concept. Later, in an effort to cut costs, I cancelled my subscription. Or so I thought. But, was charged afterwards and another box shipped, as I had not completed the cancellation process properly online. In a moment of frustration, I fired off a cranky e-mail and basically got the BEST RESPONSE EVER from their team.
Not only was my nastygram answered promptly, but with a level of kindness and professionalism that is hard to find these days. Not only are their products fabulous (I loved the first box…Kept some items and shared some with family), but their Customer Service puts the 'humanity' back in humanity. They ensured that my membership was properly cancelled, charges REFUNDED…And they told me to keep the new box anyway…Because we could all do with a bit more kindness these days. Honestly – WHO DOES THAT?!!!!?
Great products and even BETTER service team! Thank you, Raven B. Now, I look forward to re-enrolling when finances are a bit better. Not only will you enjoy their products (high quality) tremendously, but like me, you may find yourself giving some away as gifts because there's a little something for everyone in every box!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
P.S. Don't be like me and send grumpy e-mails before giving them a chance to over-deliver. Better yet, don't send grumpy e-mails at all. Like they pointed out – we could ALL use a bit more kindness these days!

Well, I have cancelled by subscription. The boxes have been steadily declining in quality, but this fall box really is quite bad. The robe is by far the biggest disaster you could find in a robe. I washed the thing in cold water on a gentle cycle before wearing and it came out fitting my four year old grandchild! The company took down all ability to complain about it, so I write this instead. I literally threw the thing in the trash can. The lamp is coated with a cheap gold spray, the bamboo board has enormous tongs so absolutely disproportionate, and the bracelet is so small and cheap. I don't know what has happened, but there is an absolute breakdown in quality control.

This was my first box from Causebox and I am very disappointed. First of all, they sent the wrong item (the bathrobe when I ordered the towels). Then they send out an e-mail weeks after they started sending the boxes saying the towels and bathrobe require special care to keep them from shrinking up. It would have been nice to know that in advance of ordering. Frankly, towels are supposed to be just thrown in the wash on hot for sanitary reasons. If you have to put them in the delicate cycle on cold and then stretch them out again, it indicates a very cheap material that鈥檚 more work than they are worth. Then there was the Volim scrub, the bottle was only half full.
I didn't mind the kitchen set and the serum. Those were nice. The basil plant kit is something you can pick up in your local drug store (no kidding, I saw sets exactly like it for 5$) so I'm not sure why they would include it in a box like this. The lantern was cute tho'.
EDIT: They got in touch and are sending me the towel set. They were very apologetic, said they valued their customers very highly, and would look into fulfillment center.
EDIT: Almost two weeks have passed and I have received no notification that the towels have even been shipped. Contacted them again earlier this week and got the same song and dance.

I was very disappointed with my fall box!! I would say that the quality of most products were sub par! Bracelet looks like it was for a child and of very poor quality! Even more disappointing was to only find one extra item that was not from my choices! No surprises to be exited about!! A big let dow! Hopefully my winter box will help me decided if I will be canceling or not my subscription!!

I received only 6 of 22 Add-On Market items that I paid for and was contacted by the company via email as well as from their Community Support Team through Facebook. Such great service in record time! Thank you for taking the extra time to carefully wrap and ship the fragile items. I'm super-impressed! Kudos to Trustpilot for getting my message out to Causbox!!!

I love the items in the Fall 2020 Causebox! I have never gotten a subscription box before but was intrigued by the diversity of home goods, beauty, and clothing offered. The ethically sourcing is a plus as well. For Fall 2020 I had already been looking for a robe and a tea infuser, so when I saw that those two items were options I decided to sign up. I have been drinking a lot more loose leaf and everything is beautiful. I also like the muscle gel and the booklet explaining the story behind each product. One of the items arrived damaged and customer service was very quick and shipped a replacement.

I've had the BEST customer service with Causebox. The response to my email was timely and Cloredel already had an option/solution figured out for me. Loved the response and how it was handled. Thank you for all the help and for being an amazing company!
