As I stated in my email right after receipt of the product the shoe was without the patina work on it. This was promised in the offer description. Otherwise it was delivered on time and the packaging and shoe bag was excellent.

The site is difficult to browse and still exhibits products that are out of stock and will not be produced again, not up to date. Issues with yahoo email accounts are unique and brings the wrong message to the customer. I had to make an international call to contact them.

Exceptional value for money. Quality of leather, sewing, patina all satisfactory. Fit (Savile model) surprisingly generous. I have feet like a T Rex, wide, high arches and forefoot, so the level of comfort from a reltively sleek, French RTW last was unexepected. Recommended.

As I was into making my first oxford purchase for a couple years now, I couldn't find anything I really liked enough to spend that amount of money on, I had look at alot of fashion brands and I just could not pull the trigger. I looked at a place called paul parkman but though against it due to some reviews I saw. So I took my search for knowledge to youtube and started watching Sartorial talks channel, and from there I started researching brands and constructions for months, As I do like a slight flare to my stature and a drive to be unique I kept coming back to caulaincourt. The price was within budget for me and also the fact that I can add a matching belt was something that really sold me. Also the mto program really let you become an artist to do whatever you want. And the shoes were different with a twist to designs. I decided to go with a wingtip oxford after months of looking considering I only have loafers and can wait to get another pair. Arthur sent me a international size guide for shoes to try on to give the a general Idea of what my size would be in a particular last. I was set on on doing an mto order but covid 19 destroyed my plans, so i decided to go with a ready to wear for my first order since I never tried on a shoe due to their store being in paris with a matching belt, founder and owner Alexis Lafont emailed me and explained the situation and that doing an mto would take considerably longer than the usual do to the lockdown. They actually went back to the shoe I order and made the patina better, it didnt rake long for me to get my shoes maybe a month and 1 week which is nothing since I'm usually waiting longer to have jewelry crafted. It was a great fit it was already comfortable without even a brake in process, the belt to match the pain brule patina was imaculate. The shoes will give me years of good use, thank you very much for my first pair of oxfords, I look forward to doing many more orders in the future since one can never be enough and I am a shoe fiend of sorts. Also I got socks too which I love. And great price for shoe trees

I received my new shoes from Caulaincourt Paris two weeks ago and it was a piece of art and the whole purchase experience was very smooth. It was the first time in my life to buy a shoes online, since in Vancouver, Canada we do not have access to good quality local handmade shoemaking as in Europe. We usually end up buying extremely聽expensive over priced shoes from fashion houses.I ordered the ONE CUT 1827 shoes in聽WATRIGANT BLUE.聽The leather is perfect and without any doubt is better than many of the the very high brand names here in Canada and with twice the price tag. The shoe design is amazing and the patina is a beautiful artistic painting that reminds you of the beautiful Italian and French art. The shoes hugged my feet the minute I put it on and I can say without a doubt that it is one of the best shoes I had so far which made me order another pair right a way for my birthday. It is very sturdy yet very elegant. The Customer service, represented by a gentleman named聽Arthur Porta DelSol,聽is highly responsive and they answer聽all my questions and made all the changes to the shoes and patina as I wanted without any extra charge. They estimated the time needed for making the shoes accurately and sent it on time with high efficient mailing service. I wish if I can give them more than 5 stars, because without any doubt they made me a piece of wearable art that I will walk in for the next couple of years.
