Waiting just 13 weeks since flights were cancelled to Dubai in april 2020.Still have received no refund only false promises from cassidytravel. If this is the way they run the company,i think they will be out of business shortly. So people beware of giving a deposit for holidays. If they cant pay back money they took then their is only one way this company is going.

Big thank you to all staff (especially Blanchardstown branch). Used Cassidy twice and all staff was very helpful and friendly. And also when our holidays was cancelled due to covid-19, we received refund within two weeks. Thanks again and definitely see you all soon. I will use Cassidy again and will recommend you!

Booked a holiday to the USA through Cassidy for April 2020. Holiday got cancelled due to covid. Told we would receive a full refund within 6 weeks and we did. I know a lot of people waiting longer from other travel agents and still haven't received a refund.

My friend and I went to Cassidy travels to books holiday in Albufera during summer time. We were told that we would be staying just outside the new town off of the strip which Is where we asked to be placed. Instead we were a 20 minute taxi ride outside of the new town which was very costly for my friend and I. To say the aparthotel was run down would be an understatement. Possibly the worst place I've ever experienced, which we payed 700 euro for. We were given a room with no air conditioning (during a heat wave of 38-40 degrees), a pull out couch as our bed with no sheets or pillows and cob webs and ants everywhere, as well as stains in the bathroom. We refused to stay in the room and got given another room yet with no air conditioning or proper beds. The staff were rude and ignorant when dealing with us. I will never use Cassidy travels ever again, due to this horrendous experience and would advise you to do the same.

Its our 3rd experience travelling with Cassidy Travel. At the moment we are looking for another travel agency. Anytime we booked out trip we had to do our own research/homework. In other European countries agents advise when is the best time too book the flights+hotels for certain destinations to get lower price/early bookings, they give a lot of information, update with various solid offers, new hotels, have their Instagram page and update with the daily stories at the same time giving a lot of information about lovely holidays (depends on a season) & upcoming offers, etc. There should be more information, offers, updates, hotels reviews etc for Irish Travellers as its very expensive.
The only advantage that you can pay the deposit and pay your holidays by instalments.

This is the third and final time I will book a holiday with cassidys.we booked Orlando Florida. It started badly when we got on the plane. We had nowhere to put our carry on bags as someone had taken our over hesd bins. I tried to remove the bags but was told I would be removed from the flight for causing a scene. On arrival we waited 2 and a half hours for a taxi we paid for to pick us up. On arrival at the hotel while the staff were friendly. We were put in a ground floor room with one big bush and air conditioning units outside the patio doors so the noise was very annoying. We had our 10 year old daughter with us and refused to to stayon the ground floor so they moved us up one floor to the same type of room. I had to share a bed with my partner and my daughter.,even though we were told we would be getting a one bedroom poolside apartment. So it was very hot and very uncomfortable at night. This is my third time booking with Cassidys, my partner does the booking. We have also booked Salou and Lanzorote and both times we were put in really shabby rooms. Especially Puerto Del Carman. At night I had to put a sheet between the patio. Doors to stop them from banging at night. I will not use cassidys again. Also the hotel wanted 45 euro a night extra to upgrade our room.12 nights would have cost us 650 euro.

Hi booked a holiday with this company and I had the worst experience ever.No one picked us up at the airport which we paid for , there was no Cassidy travel rep in the resort to complain to,
nobody spoke English in the hotel. the hotel was dirty ,apartments were filty. On return Cassidy said why did you not complain and I asked to who nobody in the hotel ever heard of Cassidy travel,
It seems to me that Cassidy sells other peoples holidays that they do check out themselves. They don't care if you get a holiday from hell as long as they make money from you

I COULD BE A BETTER TRAVEL CONSULTANT
I got married in 2016 and booked my honeymoon with this company. My now husband and several friends recommended a cruise. I visited their store in North Dublin and spoke to a consultant. I expressed some doubts to her, explained this was a one time event and I wouldn't ever get to repeat this and so we wanted something really special. A cruise with MSC ( more about them in another review) was recommended, with a top level package. So all inclusive and a huge choice of places on board to eat, lots of entertainment etc. We would also have an adults only area with bar on board. I was sold, so we booked. Fast forward and the trouble started as soon as we set foot on board. It was a bit like a cattle market or the St Stephen's Day sale at Brown Thomas. I gladly made my way to one of the many bars and ordered a prosecco and my husband asked what beer was available; we handed in our cards (so they know which plan you have paid for) and were told my husband could have any beer as long as it was Carlsberg (IF CALSBERG DID TERRIBLE TRAVEL AGENTS) – which he hates. No free WIFI the cost was extortionate, we had to queue to get off the ship, queue to get on while bags were checked – in case anyone was buying cheap alcohol.and couldn't be persuaded to upgrade their plan. We had a choice of two restaurants & a cafeteria. All in all it wasn't great and everyday we heard someone complaining. So what's my gripe? Cassidy Travel's reaction to my complaint is something I will never forget. Initially the consultant I saw in the shop (the lady I booked with was not permanently in this particular shop,) was very sympathetic and told us there was a definite error with our package and that the dining arrangements should have been made clear to us. She also let us know she would always tell people going on honeymoon that there was the possibility of lots of young children so you won't get to use the pools that often. but this is where all sympathy ended. Their customer service is really poor. I pointed out that I had been badly informed by the initial consultant who is after all an 'expert' and that there were several things they should have done such as warnings about the huge number of children on board – no I don't hate children – I just wanted to avoid huge numbers of them on my honeymoon! All I wanted was some sympathy – this was my honeymoon after all and an apology – a sincere one. It took weeks of emails back and forth before they offered me 鈧?00 as a gesture of goodwill – in other words the fact that they hire incompetent people is lost on them. This money went towards a break in Galgorm Spa in Antrim where the customer service is second to none, so thanks for that Cassidy Travel. What makes my story sweeter is that within two months of returning from this low rate honeymoon is that I was approached by two colleagues who were getting married in 2017 and asked would I recommend Cassidy Travel – I responded with a forceful NO and to date have prevented 11 people (who's counting) from using this company. So guess what I feel I have gotten my money back, although I can never ever experience my honeymoon – unless I get married again. I am heading away on a big trip next year and would use a five year old to pick a destination before I'd go anywhere near these clowns.

I use travel agents all the time and am used to their procedures that they have in place regarding holiday reservation. I had quite possible the most unprofessional experience with the company who tired to scam me out of my deposit money when I hadn't signed any contract with them. I rang the company to complain as I simply wanted to amend the group booking from 6 to 5 as I was not able to attend. The Company were rude, unprofessional and had no answers to my questions. My Dad had to speak on the phone because they were being disrespectful to me and not listening to what I had to say, a complete violation of my legal rights. They were rude to my Dad and the staff were so incompetent it was very frustrating. I am a very passive person and I tried to keep my calm because I prefer finding a solution to these problems and handling them in a diplomatic manner. I am still in an on-going back and fourth debate with the company. This has put a sour taste in my mouth – I urge that you think twice if you use this company. They don't even know their own procedures, have no concept of contract law and the poorest customer service I have ever received.
