When another funeral home literally gave false information to try to get my family to buy their product, Joe from Casket Emporium helped me to learn the truth about pricing, sizing, and other information to make informed decisions for my loved one! I recommend them 100%!

A family should never have to bury their 6 year old little girl, but we did… in the midst of all the shock and grief our funeral home gave us three choices for a casket. All of which were unacceptable, one looked like a plastic box, our princess deserved the very best! My son set off in a journey to find the perfect casket, we found Joe's company in Brooklyn, NY! Joe is a very trustworthy merchant who will go above and beyond to make sure your loved one is taken care of. Even though my funeral director was lying and giving both of us a hard time about using an "outside" company for the casket, Joe stood by me and met all their unreasonable demands. His product was beautiful. Everyone present at the funeral said my dad was going to be laid to rest in a Cadillac. There are not enough words to express how thankful I am to Casket Emporium. Joe was very professional and trusting. The casket I picked was beautiful. Even the funeral director commented on how nice it looked. I must admit I was a little worried but Joe eased by fears. We needed an over sized casket for a woman. I was surprised but pleased with the variety. Most over sized caskets look masculine but the one I selected was beautiful. It was silver with black accents. I think it was called the Franklin Silver. The casket can be used for a man or a woman. The casket arrived in Baltimore on the date promised. I highly recommend Casket Emporium. You won't be

I contacted Casket Emporium to purchase a casket I saw on their website for my dad's funeral in SC. Joe was able to offer me a comparable one and saved me some money. He guaranteed next day delivery, even sent me a text when it was delivered at funeral home, and even called a day later to see if everything was ok. The funeral director complemented me on the beautiful casket. I really appreciated the excellent, compassionate service at a difficult time.

So I鈥檒l start by saying this… if you DON鈥橳 check with Joe at CasketEmporium, you are simply doing yourself a disservice.

So here鈥檚 the story… my father in law passed away and my wife was the person the family selected to handle the arrangements for his passing. She called Pumhrey鈥檚 Funeral Home in Rockville, MD (DO NOT EVER USE THEM if you live in the DMV) and got connected with their funeral director. This guy tried to sell her a casket for 6k. My wife doesn鈥檛 know anything about this stuff and was also grieving so her thoughts were cloudy. Funeral directors know this and in my opinion, prey on people鈥檚 grief and ignorance in order to take advantage of them.

I heard this and stepped in to help and make sure the family didn鈥檛 spend money that they didn鈥檛 have.

I did a quick search on the internet and found casketemporium.com. I found a casket that my wife liked and it was only $1900 instead of $6000.

When I told the funeral director we were using a 3rd party vendor for the casket he instantly got irritated and said that in order to keep our date for services he needed the casket within 24 hours and started trashing all third party vendors saying that they won鈥檛 deliver and their quality is horrible and that in order to stay on track we should buy from them.

This is when I picked up the phone and called the number on the casketemporium website.

A guy named Joe answered and we started talking.

I can鈥檛 say enough good things about this guy. He gave me GREAT information that exposed the funeral director for the predator he is, which helped us negotiate a better deal with them. Found us a casket that my wife liked MORE than the original one we selected and it was $400 LESS and told me that he would get me the casket by 1pm the next day to make sure everything went smoothly.

He even got the casket packed up and shipped off of a 鈥渉andshake鈥?which is extremely rare in today鈥檚 day and age.

He followed up. He took every call. Every single thing he said and promised came good.

I went to inspect the casket at delivery (not common… I didn鈥檛 trust the funeral home) and not only was the casket boxed and wrapped perfectly… but the casket was IN PERFECT CONDITION and was beautiful.

I鈥檓 a 鈥渢rust your gut鈥?kinda guy and I don鈥檛 trust people easily because most people will try to steal your wallet right in front of your face, much less when you鈥檙e not looking and even more so when you鈥檙e grieving the loss of a loved one… and for some reason I trusted Joe from the jump and he didn鈥檛 let me down. In fact… he exceeded all expectations and delivered like a champion of the people.

From the moment I placed my order until the delivery of the casket I was personally reached out to in regards to my order and it's status. They were little details but really help in a time where you have all the stress of planning a funeral and comforting family. Thank you Joe for your work in these times!

I found Casket Emporium online. The funeral director gave me a price for a couple of caskets that were either overpriced or not to my liking so I decided to look elsewhere. Casket Emporium had a variety of options and prices available. I found a casket I liked and Joe gave me a couple of options, that I wasn鈥檛 aware of. We agreed on a date for delivery and it was delivered to the funeral home when he said it would be. I could not physically see them because if COVID-19. I wasn鈥檛 asked for payment until it was delivered. I finally saw the casket and it was better looking in person than online.
The process was seamless and I hope I don鈥檛 have to shop for caskets any time soon, but if I did, I would call Casket Emporium.

It has been a rough time during this situation we all are facing it was very comforting to have someone who shows compassion and goes out of his way to help and satisfied his customers

I am so satisfied & pleased working with casket emporium. My father passed away in November 2019 and in a matter of 1 month I also lost my uncle & aunt due to Covid 19 and loved how beautiful the caskets Joe has to offer! Joe has the most great caskets you can ever see and I am completely satisfied with all the caskets I have purchased! He helped us from the beginning to the very end.

My loving wife passed on 2-24-2020 and a friend found casket emporium online when he heard I was thinking about going through Amazon. Joe excelled at prices and customer service delivering to the funeral home in plenty of time. Text communication was very responsive to questions and options. I wish that every 鈥渢ransaction鈥? purchase, whatever went this smoothly. My mother passed, I鈥檓 obviously distraught, the funeral home gave us a brochure of caskets that ran from around $2,000-10,000 with the ones I thought were appropriate and nice in the $5,000-6,000 range. I started looking online, came across casket emporium鈥檚 website that read you could contact them 24/7. It was pretty late at night so I was certain no one would pick up, I鈥檇 leave a message and maybe speak the next day. I didn鈥檛 get to finish the message because Joe the owner was calling me back on the other line. From that moment he took ownership, found out what I was looking for, when I needed it, assured me he could get it delivered *well before* the funeral home鈥檚 cut off, helped me get what I wanted by clearing up some misinformation coming from the funeral home (turns out it *didn鈥檛* need to be a metal casket to fly on certain airlines), told me he鈥檇 drive it there himself and called me to let me know it was there once delivered. We lost 2 family members to Covid19 a few weeks apart, the funeral process with all the new regulations was exhausting. One thing I did not have to worry about was the caskets . We paid $900 for each steel casket compared to the funeral home we saved over a $1,000 on each purchase. Joe made accommodations to make it as easy as possible for my family & I. The funeral home wanted to charge us $200 to store the casket until the funeral due to lack of space but Joe delivered on a Saturday 8am before the funeral so we wouldn鈥檛 have to pay the storage fee. He鈥檚 willing to communicate directly with the funeral director freeing up the family to deal with all other logistics . Thank you so much Joe . 10/10 recommend .

My family and I are very pleased with the product and service Joe provided! We found out from our sister-in-law on Monday afternoon that we could purchase a casket online. We looked online and found 3 casket companies. Two of them charged prices comparable to the Funeral Home price. Casket Emporium saved us $600.! Joe is very professional, kind, and helpful. He sent us pictures and spoke with us on the phone. He doesn't charge any up front or hidden fees. He personally delivered the casket to the Funeral Home at the promised time on Thursday morning (January 2nd). When I tried handing him the cashier's check upon arrival he wouldn't even accept it until after we saw the casket.
