I mailed of two solid gold pieces. The items were delivered to their PO Box June 1st 2019. After almost a month of not hearing from them or receiving a payment I reached out to them. The absolute worse customer service I've ever dealt with. They basically said they don't know why it's taking so long. After hounding them everyday via email they finally said a check for 54 dollars has been sent. WTF after a month? I was offered more at a pawn shop. Here it is July 16th and I still haven't received anything. Whenever this mysterious check arrives I will be sending it back. Let's see how long this process takes. Piss poor company and piss poor service. Never again. They should be investigated and shut down.

I saw the tv ad for this site and had a silver chain which i wanted to cash in. I sent them the silver chain and they sent me a cheque of 拢0.06 pence in return for it. My chain had cost me $25 when i had bought it initially, it was sterling silver and im sure worth more than 6pence. Had to call them 4 times to get the chain back as well, their customer service is appalling. They talk complete rubbish that they offer great price for gold or silver. Dont use them at all. You might as well give your jewelllery free to someone as gift.

I ordered one of those mail your goid-in packets from these guys back in early January to pay for my credit card bills for christmas shopping i did back in november. Well, it finally did come about January 15 or 16th, and I put my stuff in the envelope and mailed it in just like it said. I had put in 3 gold rings (1 had a diamond in it i couldn't get out), two harringbone necklaces, and some gold charms that were different kinds. Everything was marked 14k, and the weight on it was like 2.35 ounces. They sent me a check for like $190!! I know gold was over $1100 and ounce when they got it, to! I was so mad that I called them and said for them to just send my stuff back to me, but the lady told me to hold on and she wanted to see if she could do anything to help me- she said they might be able to change the day they melted it or something like that. I dunno- but she came back and said they could give me like twice that- $373.49 or something like that. While she had me on hold, i was on the www looking at other gold buyer companies and found one that said they would pay up to 3 times what the "guys on tv" were paying. It didn't take a rocket scientist to know who they were talking about. And I was on hold for so long that I hung up. I got on this new website and was able to print off my label so I could ship the stuff right away when it came back. There website is www.AugustusGold.com and they even post their prices on there website, so I knew I would get a better deal. I called Cash4Gold back and told them they could forget trying to give me a better offer, and I put there check back in the mail to them the next morning. It took me 10 days to get my stuff back, and I put it in the mail to Augustus the same day. Three days later, I got a call from one of there guys and he said my stuff was worth $875! I think the price of gold had actually gone down, too! Well, yesterday I got my check for almost nine bills and was very happy about it. I think everybody should check out Augustus Gold before they send there stuff anywhere to at least check their prices. And before you send it in to anybody, ask them what they pay- if they don't tell you, I wouldn't trust them, either.

spoke to them on the phone after I saw the commercial and I think I would only use this place if I was totally desperate for money. Go to your local pawn shop first!!!! I saw the reviews here on sitejabber and I did a little more research and found this entire blog about this site

like everyone in this economy I saw the cash for gold TV commercial and thought about selling some of my jewelry for a little extra cash to pay the rent. I sent in my gold and waited. I was offered almost nothing for it. Then I saw this article online; http://www.cockeyed.com/citizen/goldkit/reputation.shtml OMFG.

don't send anything to this ripoff scam – They ripped me off by not sending back what was not melted down.
They did not send back the gems that were part of the jewelry.
I was totally ripped off.
