You break the phones on purpose so you don't have to pay out. I have used this service before, perfect condition but didn't need the phones anymore because I upgraded. Friends have also used the service and said the same thing happened to them. " broken in transit". You are LIARS and FRAUDS. Seen many a review about " Broken in transit". If this is the case, how about take better care with peoples property. You re cheap liars out to make a buck. you don't deserve a single star. Scumbag company run by see you next Tuesdays.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I sent our 2 phones off to this company. We are both in our 60s so do not use our phones that much and knew that they were both in perfect condition. Like others on this site we were quoted a figure and then amazingly they reduced it buy almost 50% saying that things were wrong with the phones. I asked for a second opinion and they raised the amount by 拢7. I would have rather had the phones back but they wanted to charge me 拢20 to post them back to me. Avoid at all cost if you can.

I sent my Samsung Note 2 a couple of months ago to trade for money, but never received it. I check my account on their website and it stated money transaction was successful, but that was far from true. I contacted them many time by their website's contact page, but never got any response back.
SCAMMERS!! AVOID THEM!!!

I got to this site via a price comparison site. Cash 4 phones gave the highest quote so I chose them.
They were very quick in sending me the return envelop and sending me an email saying they have received my phone and that I should get my money in 10 working days. That was Nov 22nd and I never received my money.
The site doesn't work anymore and they never replied to my emails. The phone number is a recorded message asking me to leave my name and phone number.
They offered 118 pounds for my iphone 4 but never paid me. Total scam!!

COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM ARTISTS!!!!

I sent this scamming company my perfectly good iPhone 4S as I found them on a comparison site and they seemed to come up with the best price. I sent it away hoping to get about 拢150 as it was in perfectly good condition, after numerous emails and constant phone calls I have now realized that it has gone. They don't answer their phones…they seem to always be busy and put you on hold, they don't reply to your emails! NOTHING!

I think its disgusting how people get away with things like this as it looks like I am not the only one this has happened to, I hope these scumbags get everything they deserve!

Sent my Blackberry Bold to them in October, promised it was worth 拢100, then received a letter back saying it was only worth 拢39.00 as it was damaged, bearing in mind this was a brand new phone.
Can't get hold of them on the phone, never been paid.

Should be Zero stars!!! Another disappointed consumer from cash4phones. I sent them messages and letters and they have promised 拢93 to be paid 3 times now and not paid me my money. The last time they said I would have the money by 12th Dec but nothing arrived. What crooks!!!
I have contacted watchdog and the consumer group and will keep hassling the company until they hopefully get fed up with me!!

Gutted was offered 248 for my iphone 5 needed the money to give to my kids for Christmas as I am a single mum they have ruined my Christmas don't no wot I'm going to do now they are scum

I came across this company from a comparison website. Cash4phones were offering the highest value for my I Phone 4. The company were very quick in sending me the returns envelope. Posted the phone recorded delivery 21.11.13.
I logged in to check my status, they finally acknowledged receipt of the phone 2nd December whereby the phone had 'passed its quality control.' Please allow 10 working days for payment.

Ten working days passed no payment, no response to my emails and no answer on their telephone 0845 4601064.

Their website no longer works, they have changed their trading name to Yemonia Ltd 10th December. Trading address

Please report these fraudsters to Action Fraud 03001232040 and Citizens advice consumer service 0845 4040506. They have been ripping people off for years changing company name and directors regulary. Its about time they were stopped from trading at all. The more complaints action fraud and citizens advise receive the more they will have to investigate. Please report.

No payment recieved, company has moved from thier office, never been conned before, company dont pick up thier phone, dont reply to my emails, im really depressed and feel vulnerable.Been over a month and i see the owner is closing his company. Dont even feel angry no more, just feel depressed knowing i only sold my phone because i needed the money to buy some gift for my kids, now having to take a loan with quickquid and yet dont no how im going to pay it back

I sent 2 phones to C4P which they confirmed they received on the 21st October. On the 26th October they sent me an email to confirm that my payment had been processed. Upon not receiving my payment I sent them a letter on the 29th November asking for an explanation and I am still waiting for a response – this is surely unacceptable!?

It's been 4 months and no payment. Now I can not log on to my account and i'm sure they have blocked from logging into the website. They should be stopped as this is illegal trading. Watchdog exposed them on television. Someone needs to prosecute this company. Surprisingly they are still operating and scammimg people. AVOID ON ALL COST!!!

Well I would like someone from this company to ring my 2 little boys 4 and 6yrs on Christmas day and explain to them why Father Christmas has not been to their house this year! I have very little money and I knew enough was enough I had to sell the only thing I had in the house that was worth the most money that I own. I did not want to see my iphone 4s go as it is the only thing of value that I owned that was mine! I did a bit of research for the best price given and decided to go with this company as they offered me 拢154 a smile appeared on my face knowing that my little sacrifice would actually give my children something to open on Christmas day and get them a good Christmas dinner! a small price to pay if you ask me to see the excitement on their little faces when thy actually get to open something!
But looking threw this website it looks like my dreams have been well and truly shattered! (sat in tears) the difference is I did have something of value to sell but I now have nothing! Their will be no presents I have nothing left to sell!
But it is all ok though as long as the employees and managers of this company have a lovely Christmas knowing that they have well and truly shafted all of us lovely innocent people! That is the Christmas spirit for you!

What an absolute disgrace – they have my phone, don't reply to mails, have no phone number and on top of it all have removed my details from their system.

I shall be going to their office to demand my phone or money AND if that fails small claims court.

Quoted me 拢178 for an Apple iPhone 4S 16GB, sent the phone off in the pack they provided…four weeks later i still have no phone returned, no money for the phone and NOT A SINGLE REPLY from the many emails i have sent them and even sent them a recorded letter as advised by Trading Standards. They never answer their phone numbers, the owners are Cypriot theives who keep changint their name currently they are called C4P Holdingd Ltd and if you check them out they have REQUESTED TO CLOSE THE BUSINESS so dont send them anything!!!!!!

The company stated my phone was in bad condition, which is was not. Then upped the money to a more satisfactory amount after I had paid the refund charge of 拢8.95. They then stated the money will be in my account within 10 days along with a refund or P&P, nothing! I emailed them after 21 days they said there is funding issues and cannot send my phone to me because they have recycled it, meaning they have stolen my phone and not given the money for it. Two months down the line, many emails and no money or response!!!! I have taken legal action rather than going up to their office and seeing how they react for stealing my goods!

Visited them personally at 15 GATEWAY MEWS today and I was promised that the money will be in my Account by the end of the day. In fact an email confirmation was sent to me while I was there. And here it is, I got the money in my account now. Feel sorry for people who wont be able to visit there personally as it seems that this is the only way you can get your money from them.

Probably the worst comapny i have ever dealt with. I sent off my iphone 4s on 1st October which they received on 2nd October they offered me a mere 拢75 for excessive wear and tear. When i rejected the offer and paid the 拢8.95 return delivery charge. I receieved an email from a senior member saying their technicians had made an error in the evaluation of my phone and offered me 拢120 and the refund of 拢8.95. I accepted yet its now 12.11.2013 and I am still waiting for my money. I keep sending emails and they keep replying with crap advising it takes 3-14 working days for a bacs transfer?!?! No it doesnt!!!!

Im a Sales Team Leader for Distribution Company and on Trust Pilot we are rated 9.3 for our customer service… Cash4phones are absolutely ridiculous!

I have rang the contact number 0845-460-1064 its just a computer playing the same message over and over again 15 mins and no one still answers.

Wish i had read the reviews on here first and avoided this company!!!

20.11.2013.. I asked my boyfriend who lives 20 miles from the office to pop down to see if he could get my money or my phone back as im 140 miles away. There's a security guard there as quite a lot of people have been turning up demanding the same. He went and got the 'new customer services manager' who asked for my reference number which my boyfriend gave told him it was 拢120 plus 拢8.95 return delivery charge but he said i wouldn't get the delivery charge but anyway im just glad to have the 拢120. The manager asked my boyfriend to confirm my account and sort code over the phone at 3pm today and by the time i got home from work at 7pm the money was in my account. He sent a confirmation email as well.

Its a bit crap for those that live so far away but if you have family or friends i would ask them for a favour to go there as its the only way you are going to get any money back.

if anyone needs any help trying to get their money back get in touch and i can ask my boyfriend to go there next time hes in the area as i know how much headache and hassle all this has been but im now glad its all done.

So basically, Cash4Phones have 2 of my phones and I have no money for them. The money they offer is then way below what they want to really give you. I had a BB9790 that they said it had excessive scratching on the phone screen and were trying to knock me down to 拢24 from an original quote of 拢72. Luckily I had taken photos of the phone and there was no excessive scratching at all, it had a screen protector on it for time we had it. I've took other people's advice and gone to my lawyer, I've also wrote to Watchdog and my local newspaper as in my eyes it is theft, they have 2 of MY phones and I have nothing to show for it, they never return emails and never answer the phone, so disappointed, total scam!!

I traded in an iphone 4 – which incidentally was only two months old. Like almost everyone else who has reviewed on here, payment was reduced due to "wear and tear". I eventually agreed the sum of 拢115 for my phone. Payment was allegedly processed on 25/10/13 – today, at the point of writing, still no payment received. it does not take 12 days to process and make a bank payment. This company are an absolute rip off. I will be taking a Small Claims Action against them.

I received an e-mail from them on 26/07/13 saying payment has been made and will be in my account within 3 – 5 working days. As I hadn't received the money I called them on *******064 (number not even on website) on 09/08/13 and was told payment would be sent and I will receive it in 48 hours. The person I spoke to sounded like a robot and wouldn't answer my questions properly; he simply repeated what he had already said with attitude. It is now 13/08/13 and still no money. I have been trying to call all day, waiting in long queues with an annoying message replaying over and over again. I finally got through and the person hung-up while I was still explaining the reason for my call. I am now going to get advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau as something is definitely not right here. My guess is these positive reviews are fake as I have read other ones like mine on Trustpilot and then these have been taken off after reported as being false.

So angry at this company – they offered me 拢188 for my Samsung galaxy s3, I sent it to them in perfect condition on September 10th 2013. They emailed me after a couple of days saying due to excessive wear & tear have revised my offer to 拢78. I rang them to complain, apparently there was a mix up and they came back and offered me 拢150 which I accepted. On 26th September they emailed me confirming payment to my bank account which would take 3 – 5 working days. It is now 28th October and I have still NOT received my payment. I have contacted them by phone and email to keep getting told they have had technical problems and payment will be in my bank in 7 days. I fear I will never receive this payment, times are hard I don't have a lot and this would have really helped towards xmas pressies for my kids 🙁 NEVER use Cash 4 Phones – they are scammers and need reporting…

I was lured in by the highest quote for my Samsung Ace.

Never had any suspicions since I previously used Mazuma (or whatever you call it) and it was quick and painless. Sent my phone, got the check within a few days鈥?

This time it was a whole different story.

I am so angry with them that I decided to write this review (and I don鈥檛 usually do it)鈥?br />
I always had a screen protector and a cover case on my Ace, and believe me it was in a PERFECT condition when I sent it to this scam of a company.
I accepted 拢44 quote and decided to recycle it because I couldn鈥檛 be bothered selling it online. The envelope came in a couple of days, I carefully packaged it in a bubble wrap and sent it over.
Two days later I checked the status in my account only to find out that my phone had alleged excessive scratching on the screen(!!!) and the quote was lowered down to 拢18, also if I didn鈥檛 accept it I would have to pay the release/postage fee of c.a. 拢9.
I got really angry, believe me 鈥?it is not about money because at the end of the day 拢44 is not really the end of the world. I just realised the scam behind this operation!
I wrote an angry message to them and got a reply back that they will re-assess the phone.
3 or 4 days later I checked the account again and the quote came up to 拢28鈥?

And this is what they do 鈥?they rely on the fact that most of people will not be bothered paying the release fee (which in many cases is a large chunk of the phone value) or argue with them over a few quid and will agree to the revised fee which is usually ridiculous.
Started reading on them online and found that many customers (with more expensive phones) actually went and asked for their phone back and received their phones damaged or in a very poor condition. Either way 鈥?you lose with them.

My problems didn鈥檛 end there. It took countless messages (and I think about 3-4 weeks) before I finally received my check.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

It is unthinkable that they manage to operate this way nowadays.
