This company is very quick to take your money, but try and contact them, they ignore you, emails, letters, direct messages all ignored. They lie, they offer no customer service and treat their customers like dirty. Avoid them at all costs. They are like the Spanish Mafia.

I recently had a heart attack on a Saturday. Desperate for help, me and my wife tried, for about 15 minutes, to ring the numbers given in the Caser welcome pack, without success. Some numbers went unanswered and some went to a Spanish recorded voice. Eventually we decided to give up on Caser and my wife drove me to our local hospital. Using my EHIC card I was given treatment, which included the fitting of a stent and 5 days in hospital. When I was discharged I was told to see a cardiologist after 4 weeks, which seemed a long time, so I thought I would try to get an earlier appointment using Caser. This week, over 3 days, I have spent hours trying to speak to someone at Caser to explain my situation and to get help from them, again, without success. As before, some calls went unanswered and some went to Spanish recordings, giving several options. On 2 different days I spoke to English speaking Spanish, who said they would arrange for someone to call me back. Nobody did. Today I did manage to speak to someone who spoke English using the 鈥?4 hour Medical Line鈥? She explained that a reply from an English speaking person could only be expected on weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm. From experience I would say not to expect to talk to an English speaker at all given that most of my calls were made on weekdays during the times she mentioned. I can鈥檛 stress how much of a disappointment this is because one of the main reasons for deciding to go with Caser was because I could talk to someone, in English, to get help, particularly during emergencies. In addition to my calls I have messaged the Caser website, suggesting they contact me as a matter of urgency to discuss the serious failing in the service they should have given me. Again they haven鈥檛 replied.

However, I鈥檝e looked at more recent reviews and they appear to be rock bottom now because other people have had similar problems to me. In fact I would say their lack of help must be illegal. I pay a very substantial amount of money with nothing in return when I needed it. I was very lucky to have an EHIC card. Without it who knows what would have happened?

Unfortunatelly I cannot give lower than 1 star cause they do not deserve a star. The positive review is of one of Caser's biggest agents so untrustwothy, don't believe it.
They do not respond te request, alsways trying to delay any claims. As a former agent of Caser I had to fight blood, sweat and tears for my clients to get something done. They pay a high commission so that's why a lot of agents are happy with them. We, as an service organisation always working in customer's best intrest, we could not live with it anymore.
So hear me as a former agent… don't do it.

I've been insured with Caser Seguros for over 10 years now and I have nothing more than positive experiences with them. They have a great Expat department where they offer their services in English.
I have health insurance that has always worked well and when I had water problems at home, they solved and paid for everything.

I can鈥檛 even think a * would be good enough! Absolutely shocking service from the start. My husband had a fall from a ladder and broke his hip late afternoon (we didn鈥檛 know at the time).the agent who sold us the policy never sent us a list of private hospitals close to us and to be honest we were unsure of the procedure so we ended calling 112 because later he couldn鈥檛 move. They transported him after a doctors visit to house to our local public hospital. At every stage we told people we had private cover and they asked me for listed of hospitals which hadn鈥檛 been given. He has to be moved to private hospital and they would not provide me with ambulance even though he couldn鈥檛 walk because he wasn鈥檛 unconscious and he was coming from a state care hospital, so I had to drive him 90 Kim鈥檚 to the city centre of Valencia! It has cost me fuel parking and food! His surgery was cancelled once due to emergency which has prolonged his stay plus the room he was given wasn鈥檛 big enough to swing a cat in! The food was absolutely disgusting worse than prison. I have taken lots of pictures so if You鈥檙e ever wondering what private good is like just ask! He had a bath in the room with shower in and had to try and step over it to get in and he couldn鈥檛 walk! When he went into the public hospital my Spanish neighbour called Them and explained everything what had happened then when I spoke with the agent the next day they said they have no recollection of the call! Luckily we screenshot it on our phone. I was so stressed out having to go back and forth and then having to drive into the city and back on my own it鈥檚 surprising I never had an accident myself! I wasn鈥檛 offered anything to eat even though I slept in my tiny husbands room for 2 days! We were informed by the surgeon that he would be needing antibiotics plus special daily injections afterwards which we needed to inject ourselves plus we had to pay for these! Apparently these injections are quite expensive and we need 6 weeks worth! So probably looking at about 350-400 euros for post care meds鈥?what a joke!! We have to pay 140 euros per month for this crap! Even if you want an private dr in town it鈥檚 a nightmare working out who accepts their insurance and you have to go to different places for simple things like smear tests! Plus they are not open 24 hours like our local clinic. One time I had serious water infection went there it was shut on a Saturday afternoon!! What a joke! Went into my local clinic they saw me within 15 minutes so I think I鈥檓 going to give notice on my policy and pay for the convenio especial.

I have waited for over a month after there was a fire in our apartment. agent came round We gave him everything He needed and then a week later we again were asked for a list of the damaged things which we sent but nothing. Gave up waiting as the apartment stunk of smoke and was unhealthy so we cleaned as much as possible when we get a phone call a whole month after ordering us not to clean anything or throw away any damaged things A WHOLE MONTH. Have emailed both them and their agent, nothing. will not pay a premium call so they wont respond. wasted all those years paying insurance and in the end I will still need to pay myself . absolute thieves

Rubbish ..Terrible customer service. Ive been a Medical/dental customer for 6 years Premium rate phone numbers. Caser "English" web site ie: CaserExpatinsurance.com is a gloryified SALES ONLY page that closes anything other than a sales quote. dont believe me then go to Caserexpatinsurance.com and click the "CHAT" see if you can get an answer about anything other than giving your email address. tried to find a dentest and 5… yes five of the local dentist now refusing to accept Caser Seguros Medcal… beware or be poor!

they are the worst. Avoid at all cost. Let you pay for nine years and then say: oh, yeah, we don't really secure your house. Sooo why have I been paying for NINE years??? awful. Avoid.

I have an ongoing problem with burst pipes. I cannot recommend Caser enough. Their phone center operators speak good English, are professional, helpful and understanding. They act immediately. The problems are resolved within a couple of days. The workmen they send are also extremely professional and, living alone, I have found them all courteous and respectful and am comfortable with them in my home.

I have been with Caser health for 2 years.
I informed them that I would not be renewing my contract with them. My contract expires in 3 months.
Now me online profile tells me that I have no policy.
When I call them they say they will send a copy of my policy. But they don鈥檛
