I've used Carsales to buy and to sell now. Carsales is set up very well for both buyer and seller, with a lot of good advice and features to make buying and selling as safe and sure as can be possible. There is still a lot of risk involved in buying and selling cars privately.. I can't think of how Carsales could do more than they do to minimise these risks, so all things considered if I had to do either again I would definitely use Carsales.

I received a lot of calls from what i would call tome wasters, my add was very clear but still had people calling and asking questions about the car that was clearly listed in the description. Also took a lot longer to sell the car then expected for such a popular brand and model. Car sold way below market value i feel.
