I bought a policy to cover my company van. In the middle of the night, (midnight) I was on the way back from a job and the car wouldn鈥檛 start and I had to have it towed to a shop near my house.

The starter motor was shot. I needed the van for work so I paid for it. I then call this Policy Protection Plus to see if my repair was covered.

The representative said it was BUT SINCE I PAID FOR IT BEFORE CALLING THEM THEY WOULD NOT PAY FOR IT.

SHE WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL OR UNDERSTANDING AND JUST STATED THAT ITS COVERED IN YOUR CONTRACT AND THAT THEY ARE A PLUS RATED IN THE BBB.

The person who sold me the coverage did not go over this detail with me. He just said this is for coverage if you have repairs.

This seems like a flaw in the service plan and should be handlable. AS ITS THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT THE POLICY!!

DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT!

It all ended well, but started rocky. Initially said multiple items would not be covered even though they were directly related to the repair. After a while a return call was made by a different associate and rectified the claim. I was pleased with the follow-up.

The worst company ever, very bad management, completely falls contract. When I get contract with them they said $0 deductible but I paid more than $2000. They robe my $100 for inspection. Took forever to connect with someone unprofessional answers to the questions. When I tried to cancel my contract they are not welling to refund my money back. Finally, if anyone want to get stressed and waist their money they should go with Cars protection.

It is not often that I leave reviews. Especially negative ones however, I am completely dissatisfied with the warranty coverage and all the minuscule fine print that is in the lightest of grey… had I been able to leave 0 stars, that is exactly what you would have received.
I have a vehicle that has a dry clutch (inside the transmission) and not a (Haha, here鈥檚 the catch) 鈥渓ubricated part鈥?… That was NOT covered under warranty. Now I鈥檓 sorry, but when that goes out… YOUR VEHICLE DOES NOT DRIVE! So please explain to me why and how that should not have been covered. Perhaps you should list the vehicles that this warranty is useless on. As a single parent and out of work due to covid-19, I was forced to chose between holding on to the money I had to make it through this and paying for the repairs.

Overall the warranty was great. The first dealership that I went to did not even take the time to call or even find out how the warranty works. So make sure you have the information about your warranty before hand when going to any local authorized dealership.

I have been trying to contact this company with no responce.. I call the 888 # they transfer me and where ever they transfer me to doesnt even answer… Terrible service

I wouldn't even give one star if none was an option. Paid for a warranty and when my car messed up shortly after they refused to fix it claiming my car had issues before i bought the warranty. They stole my money basically. Fraudulent company that is nothing but theives. STAY AWAY!!!!

Fast and quick response to my mechanic. He made a call in to see if the insurance would cover the issue and had a quick reply. The job was done fast and we were on our way speedy quick

Covered some but not every thing stated in the documents. Only covered percentages of parts not full coverage unless I delayed repairs and allowed them to ship parts.

I did not like the fact that when I called to ask if something was covered they would not answer that except to tell me to take it to a repair shop and have them submit the quote for approval. I was even told rudely that if I do not see it written out on the leaflet that it was obviously not covered. They also do not cover any wiring issue and I had to payout of pocket for a new door harness and keyless entry panel. Also I had very limited options for local coverage as most would not take this and required me to pay first.

I was told I was eligible for a new transmission. Paperwork started. Two months later, I was told I wouldn't be getting a transmission! No explanation! Now I'm on my own to buy one. What was the point of buying an extended warranty if it's not going to be honored???

I bought a FOUR year service contract with this company not a month to month thinking in would be the best thing for a used car, well come to find out I had my car serviced twice already on major issues that were covered according to the contract and guess what it wasn't covered, wear and tear NOT COVERED!!!! What else would I need the coverage for? I'm stuck with this service contract that does not service! NOT WORTH BUYING !!!

The garage that worked on my vehicle seemed pleased with working with my warranty thru CARS Protection Plus. I knew the warranty only paid up to $75 of an hourly rate and it didn't pay for a diagnosis. It did pay for the part and it saved me $$ on my total bill. So far I am pleased with their service.

The guy at the dealership told me they had an extended warranty for my truck, an 04 Colorado, he said it was $499. Turns out it was $4,999.00. I only paid 9000 for the truck! After about 15 phone calls I finally ended up with the manager at AutoNation in Austin and got him to reverse the charges.

I would never recommend this warranty they sucked they didn't want to pay for anything and if they did agree to pay for a part they only wanted to give it a 30 day warranty on the part so no this company is a fraud and I would never purchase a warranty from them again

Had a fuel pressure control module go bad , this part is not covered but the plan will cover door window switches. Why not this part also , this is a much needed component to keep your vehicles running. Should be included on the policy.
