I had read a few recent reviews of people complaining about their experience with Car Rental 8 but I figured I would go with them anyhow (and hash it out with the actual rental company if it came down to it). I got by far the best rate through them. When I picked up the car (from Budget), the price was exactly what I had been told and I didn鈥檛 even have to pay the remainder until I dropped the car off. I got a fantastic car (GMC terrain, highly recommend). Unlimited mileage (important because we were taking a 2k mile round trip road trip). When we dropped the car off, the only charge to my card was for exactly the remainder of the rental which I had expected. No hidden fees or extra charges. My only issue was that I stood in line for 45 minutes to pick up the car but that wasn鈥檛 their fault. I was picking it up on a Saturday from the airport. I would use Car Rental 8 again in a heartbeat.

We booked a rental car through this company. They charged our credit card three times. We tried contacting them and their website had no phone number. Email only. After multiple attempts to email there have been no responses. I finally found a number and it was a recording stating because of the COVID nobody could answer calls and to email them. There are many other people with the same problem

So far they have not responded back about my refund

By far the best rental service provider I have ever used in my life. Their prices are affordable and never overcharges, always fair. I always use them if I am in need of a vehicle to rent when travelling to different states. Thank you

I w rented three cars from this company in the last two months. Every time I ended up paying double or more than the prepaid price. It鈥檚 better to use other sites for go to the car rental company directly.

Booked a rental thru Carrental8.com foa a Budgte rental car in Raleigh,NC for a car on 4/2/20-4/7/20 to visit sick father-in-law and mother-in-law. Price was $ 167.07. Was informed due to my heart condition and their medical status that it was not wise to travel. Cancelled with Budget but charge was still on credit card. Was told that CarRental8 would have to cancel the charge. Am still after 4 days still trying to get that done. Very unhappy.

I am a first time user of CarRental8. I had a little difficulty understanding how it works (not a rental company itself, but a facilitator), so I called and got a real person right away. She was very helpful, explained everything clearly, and went ahead and completed my reservation which I had started online. The confirmation was precisely what I expected and agreed to. Prices are lowest anywhere on the web. Based on experience so far I highly recommend.

Very easy to navigate

Once the customer is OK with not knowing immediately which rental car company will be fullfiling the online reservation ultimately, and OK with waiting for the e-mail the next day to find out the name of the rental car company, the website experience is very good. It's well laid out and easy to navigate. Paying upfront is another way of saving money on the rental.

They were very good and repeated back each step they had taken to verify the step taken.

I booked this car but found it to be cheaper if I went straight to Alamo, yes the prices look good but then you get hit with the extra which is taxes etc that's payed to Alamo when you pick the car up and nope it's no longer cheap, just be aware of it and the off site pickup..
