We have had a really bad experience with the soil and mulch at Carpinitos. After putting it in my yard and garden a weird weed appeared and took over the area.
After some research found the weed to be Yellow Nutsedge. To my dismay the weed is impossible to eradicate even with toxic chemicals. It comes back, year after year.
The only way to rid my garden of it is to completely remove and repla all of the soil, which would cost me $700. Even this is no guarantee.
I complained to Carpinitos several times, even brought them a sample of the weed with pictures and copies of info found online.
They say they stand behind their products but after several attempts to get this "resolved", they offer no solution.
Save yourself the trouble, avoid purchasing soil or mulch here!!
