I requested a quote for curtains in my apartment – I advised that I was a first time curtain user and was looking for curtains that would provide darkness to the room and let in breeze. No advice was provided that would suggest I had chosen the wrong fabric.
The installation of my curtains was a shamble – I found out they were planned to be installed the following Monday by walking in one Saturday as I hadn鈥檛 heard anything for over a month. No one checked whether I was actually available to let the installer in on the Monday – I had to rearrange my work day to facilitate.
At no fault of the installer – he was given the wrong attachments and wrong tracks to install the curtains, plus the curtain had been incorrectly made – wrong size.
So on the second attempt I advised that I was not happy with the service, primarily as their was no customer service, I heard about their house and furnishings but no acknowledgement of complaint. At this time I noted that the curtains were different lengths. I was told they would drop out – I accepted this. They haven鈥檛.
The curtains are so heavy I either need to sleep with them open to get a breeze or use air conditioning – neither was the original purpose. I am now sourcing an alternative option after having paid too much for poor service and poor outcome.
Yesterday I received a phone call to enquire why I hadn鈥檛 paid the second amount – this is now 3 months later – I assumed it had been paid as I had previously provided credit card details and hadn鈥檛 heard anything in 3 months. The lady was rude and when I advised that I was not happy with the product or service the response was simply 鈥榶ou need to pay鈥?with no interest.
I cannot recommend the curtain department of this store to anyone and strongly disagree with their website statement to 鈥楾alk to an expert鈥?

My and my husband purchased the more expensive 鈥渓uxury vinyl planks鈥?and were very displeased with the quality of the product. We installed ourselves because his dad did professional flooring for years and the install was extremely difficult. The pieces did not snap together well at all and so many chipped and broke off in the process to where we needed a lot more then what we should have. Still we have issues with the prices popping up and separating because they do not click together. We did a different luxury vinyl plank in the master and office that we purchased from Lowe鈥檚 (which cost less) and we wish we had gone with them for the rest of the house. The pieces fit together great, no issues of it popping up or apart, and overall the sound quality and feel on bare feet we love so much more. Very disappointed with carpet one. When they called to see how we were satisfied and we told them we were not they didn鈥檛 seem to care.

I was debating if I should do replacement of hardwood floors, or sandling, and buff shine. The salesman suggested that I sand and buff shine my floor. The team arrived at 9:00am promplty and was very professional and attentive to my floor needs. I am 100% satisfied and plan to do future work with Carpet One. Mrs. Sheila Joyce Neal is a very Happy Camper.

DO NOT work with this company and any reviews that you see are good are employees pressured to do so.

I did a review a couple of weeks ago and so I am following up on what not to do. Do not let Carpet One send out their installers. Not good. Buying from them is ok but that is it. Also another idea is to shop around. Check with Mill Creek Outlet. The salesman was awesome and yes we bought our new floor there. He also recommended a installer that was also very awesome. A father and son team and they did a great job. We also saved around $1300.00 compared to what we spent at Carpet One. So thank you Carpet One for not wanting to work with us, we found a new place to go to for future floor needs.

STAY AWAY. The worst company I have dealth with. They removed the baseboards after installing laminates, put the baseboards back down with chunks of baseboard missing and scratches. To add insult to injury they hired a crew that could hardly speak English. Called the owner about my displeasure he was suppose to meet me but never showed. We will hire a local company to fix the problem

Buyer beware with Carpet One of Merritt Island Florida for breach of contract and horrible service!! Owner Jeff Kidd refused to provide his service warranty in writing after contract signed and deposit paid. Cancels work days before installation. File complaint with HQ and they provide very little help. After conversations with others, this company does not stand behind their work! Many complaints!! Find someone else, we do not recommend this provider of Carpet One!!

My wife and I were assuming the military discount would be competitive with that of Lowes. I.e. 10%. This was not the case and they would easily return products if the amount purchased was greater than the amount we needed.

Travis is my sales rep and did a great job helping me pick LVP and bathtubs wall tile.
I'm not sure if Travis measured wrong, although I'm certain the fee quote had overage for wastage and estimating errors which for which I was billed.
The LVP installation is good but the installer used the last 6 ft plank and there was zero material left for future repairs. The steps were one short in the quote but Carpet One provided the piece while the installation was in progress so no delay.
The installers took no care to protect my house or clothing when they used grinders on leveling cement. They should cover closets and furnishings with plastic. Very basic.
Also they R&R'd my sliding 6 ft doors and didn't replace the floor guide, saying they aren't allowed to drill through the LVP. Ridiculous. We are to believe that the doors are supposed to swing in and out? YouTube shows how to drill safely or glue the guide to the floor. They mis-installed a different closet door. Now I have to hire someone else to finish Carpet One's work.
The bathroom tile two man demolition team showed up Thursday afternoon and they demoed the three walls above both 5 foot bathrooms.
The tile installer–one person–showed up at 10 AM Friday. He worked to 11 PM so I had to cancel my Friday evening plans. Clearly the installation team knew this wasn't a one man job.
The installer completed the guest bathroom and it looks good but I had to ask the installer to remove and reinstall the soap dish which was placed about 4 inches above the bathtub. Seems like he never installed a soap dish or he didn't care.
Next he told me Carpet One was short about 8 feet of Bullnose tile so he'd have to return Saturday or Monday to finish the Master Bathroom walls.
Now it's late Tuesday morning and I'm told Carpet One will have the Bullnose available for installation Thursday. Great?! My master shower has been 90% complete and unusable for since Friday and it takes them 4 days to work out a solution and hopefully the 1 day, two man project will be finished in 8 calendar days. It's unfathomable that bullnose tile–needed about 50 linear feet max for this project–isn't in stock and wasn't available Monday to finish my project.
I'm very unhappy with the installation. You should try a different company.
UPDATE: Installer returned 6 days later. Needed about 14 pieces to finish but was only provided 10. Must order again. Another failure to perform by Carpet One. If they return Tuesday, it will have been 14 days without master bathroom. No call from Carpet One called me to update me on timing to cure their error. I had to pester them to get an update.
2nd UPDATE: Installer returned 1 week later and finished my master bathtub tile. End product looks great and extra tile remained with me for future repairs. My handyman had to add some caulk where they missed. He had to touch up paint over tile.
It took two full weeks to install tile over two bathtubs. Not good, but it's finished and the end product–LVP and bathtubs tile–looks great. I felt abandoned by Carpet One on the tile mess up. I will never use Carpet One again.

I worked with Kera Parker on two different orders/installations. I replaced the carpet in most of my house and all of my mother's house. Completely professional from start to finish. I highly recommend staying local and using Carpet One if living in the GreenValley/Sahuarita AZ area.

One star is too much for a rating on this lousy company. The store is fine, the sales guy is fine, but they hire incompetent sloppy people to install. I bought vinyl plank flooring for the entire house, and the installers came in and made a huge mess. They broke up the tile in the front hall and didn't bother to use a tarp to protect my walls and woodwork, leaving gouges and chipped paint throughout the front hall. They attempted to "fix" it with paint that did not match and a lousy drywall repair job. Upon further inspection, they had damaged walls throughout my home! They also broke the glass top my dresser. I called the stored, and they sent a different crew out to finish the job. Too late. Now I have to paint the entire house and Carpet One will not get back to me.

installation team worked very hard without breaks and on long hours to finish my job, to which they did an excellent job. The floors look beautiful and I'm very happy with the end result. I cut a star, and you could argue should maybe cut another, for two reasons. First, the person who did the original estimate missed a flaw in my original floors that precluded leaving just covering them with the new flooring. This mistake lead to my ordering a higher priced product because I thought was saving money by not removing the old floors, despite the fact that they ultimately had to be removed. The second issue was that our original install date had to be scrubbed because they weren't able to park their truck in my neighborhood.

Had a bad experience at this store. They had a new employee who wrote down the wrong name of the carpet. Took over a month to get it replaced and they stuck me with the second install bill.
They claimed I used my own installer even though Matt at the store recommended the installer.
They also used the beauty guarantee to cover up the employees mistake of writting the wrong name down.
I would NOT recommend this store. There are many many other options our there.

After tearing out old floor — a leveling material was poured to level out the slab/area for the installation of new wood laminate floor. In four areas of the floor — the leveling liquid did not completely dry before installation. After 5 years and exposure to sunlight — the floor in these areas has dark spots.
Upon contacting the company, they mentioned their 1-year warranty on installation (which we were never provided) and would not even come out to our home to look at the floor and suggest options to correct the poor initial installation. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

We are very happy with the carpet we selected, the price was reasonable, not the cheapest, but the service is terrible. Installation guy did not have enough carpet to finish the job. So far, we've been waiting 4 days for them to come back and finish it. Repeated calls are ignored. The sales guy came out yesterday and double-checked his measurements, said the installation people would call us in the morning, but they have not done so and I am unable to get through to anyone at their store. My advice: there are lots of better companies to buy carpet from.

This is our second remodel to use Carpet One on all flooring. Jeff Rivers in sales has done an outstanding (and patient) job helping with selections and, most important, ensuring that our floors are installed properly. We feel like we got a very fair price with incredibly personalized service!

Had an issue with a seam you could trip over. When they sent someone out to inspect that person found other issues with the carpet quality and installation in 3 bedrooms. We were told the carpet would be replaced and the moving of furniture would be taken care of. Then the owner changed his stance and told us only the room with the bad seam would be replaced and we would have to move the furniture ourselves, and didn't seem too happy about having to do even that. He didn't seem pleasant over the phone as if we, who had spent $$ on quality carpet, were somehow at fault. All we wanted was the seam taken care of in the first place, and it was them that led us down the rabbit hole of replacing the entire installation, only to be told it wasn't going to happen and making us feel like somehow we were at fault. Even after a factory rep came to the house and confirmed the carpet was defective. The carpet was eventually replaced in 2 rooms (only because the factory rep cut out a piece of defective carpet in the 2nd room as a sample to take back with him. This infuriated the Carpet One owner who said "WELL I GUESS WE HAVE TO REPLACE THE CARPET IN TWO ROOMS NOW!" angrily to me over the phone.) No follow-up call following the 2nd installation to ask if we were satisfied. He had our money by then so apparently didn't give a crap. We have more flooring projects planned, but will never do business with Carpet One again. I don't know how he can stay in business treating customers the way he does.

Very poorly run business. Our 5 day project took 30 days……..workmanship was sloppy, customer care non existent, and they left our home with damages (cabinets, trim, etc.) and filth…….
