SCAM!!! They called my mother-in-law, led her to believe they were from her dealership. Sold her an expensive warranty, $2752, $395 down and monthly payments of $196. Fortunately, she told us and we immediately told her to cancel. She did so within a couple days and now a year later it's going to collections because they said she never called. They will drop the case if she pays them $980 now. She is not paying one penny. We'll see if they do anything. BEWARE!!

First of all they kept saying that I called them. they called me and the guy that I talked to Joseph would not listen to me he told me that my extended warranty expired already at 36,000 miles cuz all Dodges do that. no he was wrong mine expires of a hundred thousand miles in our dales contract. he was so rude and he kept insisting that I have to pay this pay this pay this when I already told them I cannot make decisions without my husband being present. He said b
because you realize that you cannot call back here. I did not call them. then he kept the belittling me because I was calling around to see what coverage and estimates
I could get. He says you know you're not going to get same quotes. I am so Furious he is so rude and disrespectful I would not recommend this company to anybody . He hung up on me. How professional Joseph JERK

We (an independent repair shop) have filed a couple claims with Car Guard Administration for one of our customer's who has a policy. They are one of the poorest extended warranties we have dealt with. They pay as little as possible, leaving whoever has their policies with a substantial bill along with their deductible. It is probably in their fine print somewhere…the will only pay a fraction of any diagnosis charges, the will only pay for the cheapest replacement part they can find online. They want to supply their own part – which most shops don't and shouldn't allow. It's like bringing ground beef and a potato to a restaurant and asking them to make you a burger and fries. They don't return phone calls, every part of the experience is poor with this company. If I could rate them less than one star, I would. Buyer beware!!!

I asked for a refund of the $100 deposit I gave Car Guard today July 10. The rep told me if my husband and I decided to sell the car we would get the deposit refunded immediately. We decided to sell. I called Scott at customer service and asked to refund the $100 to my debit card. He told me it would take 15 days. That is outrageous. After reading all the bad reviews I hope I get the $100 dollars back.
I received my refund in 4 business days. I was contacted by Randall who assured me the refund would not take 15 days Scott had said. Thank you to Randall for his quick reply and for the refund.

Do not use this company! I received my warranty policy through a third party seller who no longer uses Carguard due to their terrible service to customers. I purchased their top of the line policy for my BMW. My car had been inspected just prior to the purchase and it was in perfect condition. 7 months later I tired to use the policy and was denied for 鈥渁tmospheric conditions鈥? I disputed the claim but initially thought my service company had input the claim incorrectly and wound up paying for the repair myself. The second time, the BMW dealership found a problem and contacted Carguard for me. It took several attempts and several days to get an inspection. I was denied this time due to 鈥減re-existing conditions鈥? I did, after much work, speak to a supervisor one time. He emailed me later to tell me that I was still denied. I to this day, can not get any information beyond as to what they mean specifically. I have statements from the first service company, the dealer and a BMW mechanic that my conditions were not pre-existing. I hope this helps. I will say the company who originally sold me the policy has been great in trying to help me get this resolved. We unfortunately, haven鈥檛 gotten a resolution from CarGuard and may never. Looking at other sites it appears I am not alone in this experience.
