Care Now (South Garland) advertises that you can check in online and wait from the comfort of your own home instead of their waiting room. Then you are to receive a call to come in when it鈥檚 your turn. So, I did just that. After checking in online, I received a call from Care Now asking about my 7 year old鈥檚 reason for being seen. I explained that she was running a fever, needed to be tested for strep and COVID due to symptoms. The attendant called me back a few minutes later and said to come in. I sat in the waiting room holding my sick child in my arms for an hour and a half before we decided to leave. This is absolutely ridiculous that they do this to people!!!!! They don鈥檛 care. They didn鈥檛 even bother to come out and say sorry that it鈥檚 taking so long. There is a much better process that can work if they just used some common sense. These employees should be trained on how long the patients ahead of them will take before calling sick patients in to just sit in their waiting room!
