Initially I was excited to work for CareLinx because the starting pay was very good. Plus in addition they added hazard pay which made it seem all worth it. To my understanding, the position I applied for was for a facility in Sylmar. The listing they posted said they would be flexible to my needs and I had requested MORNING shifts. Come to find out, I was told I would be going to a Glendale facility which is almost 30 miles from me and not to mention they scheduled me for a NIGHT shift. They said it would be for that one time and I was fine with that. They also mentioned to me that they would prioritize my preferences and give me a better schedule. A day after I finished that shift, they scheduled me again for another night shift in Glendale. I was already prepared to work that night, then they cancelled on me last minute. They then proceeded to schedule me at the initial facility last minute, but I was still determined to work so I went. The facility they made me go to didn鈥檛 have proper PPE, was scarce on gloves that CNA鈥檚 had to ask me from my own, was short on staff and the load for an LVN was tremendous and tiring, the RN鈥檚 were lazy and demanded things on the spot as if you were a dog, and many more… I vented to Carelinx and they assured me that there would be extra help the following day. The 鈥渉elp鈥?supposedly didn鈥檛 even show up because she was sent home. Miscommunication? I鈥檓 not surprised. So to my surprise I had to do the same thing all over again for another shift. As I was completing my timesheets all week, I kept getting them rejected. I was promised a certain amount of hazard pay for going in, and they didn鈥檛 comply to it. This company pretty much short-handed me money. I honestly do not trust them at all. They鈥檒l promise one thing, but won鈥檛 go through with it. They鈥檙e only priority is getting someone scheduled wherever just to get their money from that facility, even if it takes lying to get it done. I have invoices as proof, so they can鈥檛 lie about it. Never working for this company ever again and I suggest you don鈥檛 either.

I had trouble reaching someone at Carelinx when I and a potential client both had questions. Also concerns me that there is no after hours person to address issues that may come up. And I had no emergency number to call if needed. And Carelinx was not diligent about returning my calls, or getting back to me on questions I had ask.

The CareLinx group provided access to a wide selection of caregivers with various levels of expertise and cost. We were able to find the right caregivers to meet our father's needs up until the time he died. It was also good to have the services to handle the various taxes involved when employing a caregiver. They regularly contacted me to make sure everything was going well and to offer assistance if needed.
The one issue we encountered was some of the candidates used CareLinx for advertisement but wanted to be paid outside of the system. One was actually recruiting business for her own company. We are not sure what are the contractual terms between CareLinx and the persons seeking employment through their system, but this potential conflict of interest created some confusion on our part during the early screening process. Otherwise, we would use CareLinx again should the need arise.

Carelinx has been a wonderful part of the team caring for our elderly parents! Our caregiver Gail Bowles is absolutely the best fit and is so caring we could not have done it without her as we live in Texas and they live in Missouri. Carelinx gave us the peace of mind we needed and so easy to use! I would highly recommend them to anyone in our situation! Thank you carelinx!!!!

CareLinx was fantastic, the best out there. They helped me find a top rate professional home aide for my husband on very short notice. My husband has physical and mental limitations, and I told CareLinx this. The aide sent, Ellen, was just super. She was conscientious in her duties, trustworthy, reliable and compassionate even given his sometimes harsh stubbornness on things. He was always kept clean, as was the house, and well fed. Best experience of any service we have tried.

I am giving Jennifer Bright 5 stars. She is always on time, is working with me as I get used to having a caregiver, such as changing time, canceling, etc. So far she is making this easier on me, plus my husband also likes her.

Carelinx is the first job site I have dealt with, as most of my jobs (private cases) I acquired through a Geriatric Care Manager. I have heard stories of how Agencies treat their workers, so when I decided to take a break from doing the Live-in, I decided to try Carelinx.
I was pleasantly surprised when I started to complete my Profile how easy it was. I was contacted by a coordinator who welcomed me and encouraged me to complete my profile with my photo. I got a job through a Recruiter which lasted for a year. During the year, I kept getting texts from Carelinx about posted jobs in my area. My one-year job ended in February of this year and I got my first job through Carelinx. I like that everything for Carelinx is online. It is very easy to clock in and out; the time sheet set up is unbelievably easy to fill in. After time sheet is submitted, it takes about 2 – 3 working days and payment is deposited in my account. It all depends on the family. Access to all your time sheets and payroll information is at your finger tips – I love that! Again, the site is generally very easy to navigate.
I noticed that some of the positions advertised are for just a few hours, of which Carelinx has no control, of course, but most caregivers need at least 40 hours per week. The advertised positions, when filled, should be removed from the site as soon possible. Live-in positions for all States or Cities should be grouped together, as some caregivers are willing to relocate to where the jobs are and this would make it easier to search for live-in jobs.
I gave Carelinx a 4-star and not a 5-star rating based on the last paragraph of this review.
