After dealing with several dental offices I can't shed the suspicion that list prices are like the MSRP for cars; nobody pays the list price.Whether you have a discount card or not you can likely get a discount by offering to take your business elsewhere.

Didn't see until afterwards that they are going to charge your card the next year automatically unless you notify them in writing. Little deceptive on rates. Dentists
That appear on the list when you are signing up ; are not there after you complete the purchase.

I used the plan at an Aspen Dental office near me and they have always accepted the rates as published. it has saved me a large amount of money on periodontal work. It hasn't been particularly challenging to use. The only reason I haven't given them 5stars is that you have to make sure that the dentist you use is still in network. Some of the dentists listed for my area no longer accept it.

I bought into the Essential Smile Plan administered by Careington, in January. The Web site clearly stated then and now (June). That my local Midwest Dental office accepted the plan. I was informed today by my local Midwest Dental office that they do not accept the plan, and that they had informed the Web Site owner, Midwest Dental, of the error a while ago. So to use the plan, that I bought so I would not have to drive out of town, I have to drive 20 to another Midwest Dental Office. You should not have any stars, I had to give you one to be allowed to write this review!

UNAUTHORIZED PLAN CANCELLATION

First off, they lie about what providers are available in your area and list locations that don't exist yet. Then when you call to cancel they threaten to give you only a partial refund. I told them NOT to cancel so that I could research further and without notice I see partial refund to my PayPal account.

Very straight forward. This plan is exactly as advertised and helped me to get 50% off of all of the dental work Ive had done this year! I will certainly renew my membership and I recommend it to everyone I know.
