As the president of a small non-profit, I've had a number of questions over the years about liability and best practices when it came to fundraising. This course answered all of those questions and more. It opened my eyes to many different aspects we have to keep our eyes on as a board of directors. I'm wondering how much UBIT our organization takes in? Does our website generate donations from other states? Through this course I'm also confident that our organization is engaging in ethical practices. Thank you so much for this information. The course covered information, that could be considered as a bit dry, in a light-hearted but factual manner. I will certainly look at the other course offerings. Great job CareerLearning!

The course was very informative and very helpful in presenting new ideas on how to recruit volunteers for any type of program.
The length of the program was perfect it wasn't too long or too short, and was able to keep your attention until the course was completed.

i took the Financial Literacy for Non Profits course recently and I thought the course was an excellent introduction for those professionals who may be just delving into the non profit sector and could be challenged with understanding the fiduciary responsibilities of senior executive leadership and Board members charged with governance. I feel the course takes what is usually complex financial information and simplifies it so that a newcomer to the NFP arena won't feel overwhelmed with financial lingo and data. The course is constructed with quizzes and visuals that aid in the learning process and aids in retention. I believe that after taking this course a NFP professional will be equipped with knowledge and tools necessary to help navigate the vast field that is Non Profits.
