Since chloe from careco heard of my problem with a screw, she has jumped into action and helped me. It is a pity she did not hear of my problem in the beginning. As I paid 拢26 for the wrong screw from where I purchased my scooter, she has given me 拢20 reimbursement. She did not have to do that and am now very happy with careco. She has sent me 2 screws the same as was supplied with the box I bought, which the handyman said was too short to fit on the scooter. Tomorrow I will try to get someone to try and fit the short screw on my arm rest. Hoping it works.

Purchased a recliner chair from this company, informed them we would not be at home on the Wednesday, also informed their delivery agent T.N.T as well. Guess what on our return from visiting my frail ninety year old sister in Surrey on the Wednesday in the middle of our drive sat this huge box containing the chair. As I am disabled and my wife is in her late seventies no way could we move this. A young neighbor appeared quite distressed who stated that a foreign driver knocked on his door and asked if he would sign for a package, this he was pleased to do. Not pleased when he saw the size and weight of the box.Between us we managed to get the box on a trolley and place in the garage. The best is yet to come. Several days later an engineer from Careco arrived to install the chair. Careco had agreed to remove our existing chair before installing the new one. Upon viewing our chair the engineer said that will never go out of the door, my wife informed him that not only did it come in but a three seater sofa also came in. Now the fun part, after much muttering and abuse directed at his office including a telephone call to them telling them of his displeasure also complaining bitterly that if he did not get back on the road soon he would be stuck at the Dartford Tunnel. He then proceeded to drop the chair on my foot that did not help my already blackened big toe. Next request did I really need the old chair, this chair was n excellent condition and we intended to donate it to it local hospice. At this stage he requested a sledge hammer, this I did not have but offered him a club hammer, he then set about this chair like a demented John Cleese all to no avail as the chair resisted all his efforts, next request did I have a saw, yes I did so he then set about the chair and managed to reduce my perfectly good arm chair in to four parts which enabled him to get it out of our bungalow. Next phase install the new chair which went well except he broke the hook on the back of the remote control, no problem he would get one sent to us. A few days later another new remote control arrived quests what no hook so I now have two remote controls but unable to hook on to the side of my nice new recliner. After a phone call and e mail to Careco the advice was could I not glue the broken hook together, I replied perhaps they could do this as the engineer had taken the broken hook away with him. Have heard absolutely nothing from Careco to date. This review is a tragedy because I am pleased with the new chair but wished I had dealt with a local firm who would have delivered a similar chair with two installers experienced in removing old furniture. Just wished I had buddies the occasion.
