We have been buying many things from Care-co including my power wheelchair, rollator for my mom etc. And this last November I bought new batteries for my power wheelchair. The description on their website says that the batteries are Lucas brand, which I do prefer. However, I got Leoch batteries, with 6 months warranty.
After 2 months, in January the batteries stopped holding charge. I called CareCo and they advised me to drop off the batteries for 24 hours testing, which meant I will be few days without the batteries. Since I am a full-time wheelchair bounded this wasn鈥檛 an option for me, so I asked if they can lend me batteries while testing or a wheelchair that I can use, so I won鈥檛 be immobile. This was rejected. I also offered to buy new batteries, and I get refund on the damaged ones. This was also rejected.
So, I decided to buy new batteries from a different company and claim refund from CareCo. Once my new batteries were installed, I drop off the damaged batteries at CraeCo. Their test showed that the batteries were indeed damaged. And then the bigger story began. They rejected to refund me, they wanted to replace my batteries with new ones. Since I already had batteries that were installed on my wheelchair and work well, I didn鈥檛 needed replacement, but refund. CareCo were refusing to refund me. So, I ended up contacting Trading Standards Institute for advice. I have learned about Costumer Rights Act etc. At the end I got refund only after saying that I will go with the case on a court, so CareCo finally issued refund.
This was a nightmare. I can鈥檛 understand how a company that provides such a sensitive equipment for disabled people can ask from us to be immobile for days. I am really disappointed with their attitude and ignorance.
Hope they will change their policies and be more mindful that our wheelchairs mean our mobility.

Still ongoing problems with this company.
Engineer came out to repair expensive electric chair and dumped old mechanism on top of box. He wouldnt take it away said Careco had to remove it. Wasnt told that by Careco.

Contacted Careco to remove item only to be told i had to package it up myself.

Im disabled, live alone and mechanism is heavy. Impossible for me to do.

I asked them to take away before new year but no response. Now i cannot get out because my wheelchair is blocked by the mechanism. This company is so unhelpful. I will have to get a passerby to drag the box outside so i can use my wheelchair and get out

received delivery & set up today 3rd December of a recliner chair for my father. Good product, good service & dealt with efficiently.

For purchasing items they are caring, no rushing and generally make sure you buy just what you need.

Customer service abysmal, the bath seat 鈥淓lixir鈥? failing within 6 months, taken for repair, no receipt when taken plus no notification other than a phone call the day before the bath seat was returned.
No notice even though things were supposedly being checked. I鈥檝e learnt a salutary lesson and the costs around 拢3,000. Despite all their info which goes out, if I鈥檇 known what I know now I would definitely gone elsewhere, so much info through the post made us choose CareCo, I my age I should have known better. So angry and very disappointed.

Having been let down severely by CompleteCare Network the attitude of Careco is totally different. Full details of purchase available and rapid declaration of delivery date. Follow up confirmation of delivery within short time. Have dealt with this company for many years and have never had a problem. Prices are not the lowest but at least they are reliable.What do you want?

We had a problem with communication and delivery but CareCo have recovered the situation and have provided excellent customer service. I am therefore happy to recommend them.

hi this is MARILYN STRICKLAND we came to the store in Cardiff to buy a mobility scooter we was greeted by Andrew very polite and helpful he explained everything to us couldn't have wished for a nicer person as he let us try the scooter before we bought it so ty ANDREW for ur understanding we would highly recommend your store thank you very much

Having spoken to ethan today he had restored my confidence totally having resolved the issue. Wife now very happy with careco.co and will return soon
