The service I received in procuring a rental car while mine was being repaired privately was very courtious and professional, with a minimum of fuss. The replacement vehicle was available on the spot, which is a far cry from my most recent experience in dealing with a smash repair/replacement vehicle issue with my insurance company. There I had to catch an Uber ride from Marrickville to Europcar at Alexandria to obtain the vehicle and then, upon completion of the repairs, do the reverse trip. After some haggling the insurance agreed to reimburse me some $43 for these trips.
