This is an appalling company to deal with, I wish I had read the Trust Pilot Reviews first, as they reflect my experience. I bought an Audi A3 in September 19. The salesman was very keen to sell me all the extras, and demonstrated the 'Williams' protection. As it was a nice clean car I opted to have this as it was guaranteed to keep the interior clean. I also asked them to service the car after he did quite a hard sell on how much cheaper this would be than Audi.He promised me the car would have a '70 point check', would be fully valeted and then the Williams coating applied. I arranged to return 5 days later to pick it up.
The car was on the forecourt still wet when I arrived. It had not been 'valeted', perhaps washed over with a hose….. A scratch on the bonnet which was supposed to have been sorted was still there. The worst part was the interior. The Williams coating had clearly only just been applied and the whole of the interior carpets and boot were soaking wet. The car interior clearly hadn't been valeted and the Williams spray had been applied over existing dirty marks on the back seat. You could see where the foam had been hastily applied as it lay in bubbly squiggles plain to see all over the car. Lots of bits had been missed, meaning that the coating would be inneffective and would fail to meet William's requirements for life time cover. It was so bad it was like a joke, but when it was pointed out they didn't bat an eyelid. I asked them to do it again and left the car for another day. When we returned the car looked much the same, although this time it was dryer.Clearly the coating had still not been applied evenly, there were gaps, and the marks on the seats were still there . When I complained I was met with what can only be described as sullenness. They eventually asked me to wait another hour while they took the car back to the workshop – no apology. It was returned very little improved, although a couple of marks had been rubbed at. Nothing was offered to compensate or put the situation right, to cover for the time spent waiting for services that should have already been provided, or for the extra 60 mile round trip because the car wasn't ready. I don't trust them to have done any of the other things they claimed to have done either – the service, the valet, the '70 point check'. We phoned a week later for some routine information about the SD card for the SatNav and a receptionist promised to get someone to phone, which of course they didn't. Avoid like the plague and caution anyone who might want to use Car World, there is much better service around. I wish I could upload the photos of their 'valet' and Williams coating!

Never use avoid!!!. 6 months of hell from this company. We bought our car in December 2018
, weve had nothing but trouble from a week after owning the car. Over 7 times it went in to be fixed and each time came out with a different fault. I am disabled My daughter has mobility issues but this does not seem to make any difference , they are a load of cowboys. We eventually got the finance company involved after they denied receiving my letters that were sent recorded delivery. They also told the finance company I was happy with my car , when I clearly am not. We went to collect the car after it had been "fixed" it wasn't fixed so we asked to test drive another car of the same make to show them, our car isn't right. We were then told to go home , as they were busy with customers. So as soon as you hand over yiur money and regardless if the car is in warranty. You not classed as a customer.
After a battle, the finance company sent out an independent inspector to inspect the car. He made a report and said car world are at fault for selling me a car that had faults. Carworld disputed these facts. We finally got them to agree on a refund. But now they are digging in their heels so not to pay us. They can not keep to o e story but constantly change their mi d's on how We shouk d be paid. Firstly the go ance company pay us. Then in the next breath , they wait for the finance company to pay them, then we get told 3 days for a BACS payment. And now the finance company are with holding information from them. Anything to make this whole orderal even worse than its been. The fact is they have the car back so pay me my money. This should be classed as theft!. We heavily rely on a car . We have wheelchairs to transport. I have no way of getting my daughter to school on Monday. Please stay away from this company and go to a reputable dealership.

UPDATE 7/6/18- The finance director at Car World has reached out to me to arrange their mechanic to look at the car. Will update!

What a disappointment! Went to test drive a VW Tiguan, then came back a few days later to purchase. Everything seemed on the up-and-up, loved the car. Then, less than a week later, it dies on the side of the road. Car World has us tow the car- at OUR expense- to THEIR mechanic. Big mistake. How long should it take to peek at a car and see what's wrong with it? In my experience with fleet trucks, even if a place is slammed, it should only take 3 days, max. This car was at the mechanic long enough to run out the 15-day lemon law limit. We deal with the mechanic, get the car back. All seems fine. Then we take it for an oil change, as the warning came on in the car… and learn about the cracked transmission mount, the starter almost out… we call Car World 4, 5, 6 times… and have never heard one peep back. Then the roof lining for the sunroof starts sagging, the visor light site is leaking… still no call back. So, it's time for social media! Honestly, I just want them to take this stupid car back and give me my money.
