I have rented from Fox twice now. Both times, have been "foxing" excellent (I think I'm funny).

They really are great. They're reasonable about how I can return the car. Both times, we've gone to the ocean and have ended up with sand in the car (not an excessive amount, but some) and they don't charge an extra cleaning fee for it. They offer great cars at great prices. I pay for the insurance, just in case, and even that is reasonably priced.

I will, without a doubt, 100%, ALWAYS rent from Fox.

Miami Airport, made a reservation online for the cheapest deal I could find – it was FOX car rental.
However, when I arrived they charged me a lot of extras on top of the amount that was originally offered… A LOT!!! (insurance+highway usage+side road rescue…etc…)
luckily their system will not allow a debit card only credit card so I couldn't pay…
so I made a new last-minute reservation with "Alamo" from the shuttle back to Airport.
I was out of "Alamo" office that is INSIDE the airport within 5 minutes
paid EXACTLY what the offer said no extra for insurance no extra for toll-gate usage.

This place is crooked, dishonest and misleading…They offer broken down unserviced cars…You think at first that you are getting a bargain, but you are not…

We are Very Disappointed in both Wisecars and with Fox Rental Cars at the Denver Airport. This was by far the worse rental car experience I have ever had in my life. I have been renting cars for many years and I have never had a complain until now. When I went through Wisecars to book the rental with Fox Rental Car, I was told I would get a Ford Explorer or something Similar. I have driven the Explorer quite a number of times so that was the reason I went with Fox, I understand you do not always get the exact car but You should ALWAYS get something comparable. They gave me a Mtsubishi Outlander. IT IS NOT A COMPARABLE TO THE EXPLORER. It was the worse car I have ever driven or rented. I really was very compact, uncomfortable and was so rough. The worse was they had two explorer sitting on the lot. The service was awful and FOX and the manager was almost rude and knew I was very upset of it. She acted as if she really did not have time to be bothered. The place was so disorganized and no one was very ehlpful except one guy that worked there. I have never complained about arental car company or booking agent ever until now, I paid a great deal of money for such a bad experience and I should be refunded part of what I paid. It completely put a bad taste in my mouth and really impacted our trip home for xmas. I had to drive this car for three weeks almost and it was a bad experience the entire time. They tried to up sale me on the car , when what they siould have done was given me the car I paid for or something comparable. Awful awful experience.

Orlando Airport. The price was right but the service definitely reflected the price. I understand that getting something, cheap, fast and good usually does not happen, but often times you get 2 of the 3, cheap and good, but not fast, or cheap and fast, but not good. To start off the shuttle driver seemed to have an attitude. I get it, he drives all day, occasionally lugging heavy bags on and off a shuttle, which is not a glamourous or exciting job day in and out. Here is an idea, if you want to make more money or enjoy your job more, smile, say hello, it will pay off. The people gal who signed me in really tried to oversell their insurance. I felt like I was getting a big time runaround. Also, I should have done more homework on the SunPass, toll road pass. I paid $8 a day (give or take) which was $48 for my trip and I think my actual tolls would have been like $16 if I had actually just paid them. Granted I only drove the car to Gainesville and back. But, I was told something like there was a $15 administrative fee, blah blah blah. I didn't have time or want to worry about it so I paid the fees. The gal who checked out the car as I left the lot was nice and friendly. Upon return, the people who checked me out were chatting away and took their time getting to me. Overall I didn't get the sense that anyone who works at this particular location really has much customer service training, with the exception of the gal who checked the car as it was leaving the lot. A friendly "hello" and a smile does go a long way. Telling people on the shuttle about terminal A or B and where they might need to go would be a good idea. Don't lie or coerce customers into buying a service they not need. I get offering it, and telling them, yes it might be a few extra $$$ but it is fast and convenient. I could get on board with that. Will I rent here again? Sure, because I can spend an extra 10 minutes waiting around, load and unload my own bags and the savings was about 30% or so over most other companies. Just be prepared to wait a bit if you are getting your car here. My rental vehicle was actually great, no complaints on that end.

30 minutes in line, specified car not available and agent aggressively up-selling. Cost me almost twice what I expected. Then another 1 hour to wait for car to come out of the car wash (at least it was clean). No problem with car or return process. When returning on Aug .31 (Labor Day weekend), I saw the length of the check-out line – those poor folks would have at least a 3 hour wait. Avoid like the plague…

SCAM, they offer cheaper prices to attract customers, then they try to enforce their own insurance over yours by lying to the people arguing that they don't accept yours, Their website QA section clearly state that their insurance is optional and for their own education here in Canada most Credit Cards have CDW/DLW insurance (you have to decline the one offered by rental insurance company and pay with that credit card the full amount though) and if you drive here your insurance company will also provide the OPCF 27 package to cover all kind of issues related with rented cars anywhere in North America, plus our liability is also covered across U.S.A / Canada, I don't need any of your expensive insurances, search for OPCF 27 and educate yourself unless this is an intentional SCAM, in my case I do have all those insurances and still I have to argue with them, so what I do?, if I feel to test them up again I make a some extra reservations with another rental companies for 30min later, just in case, but I wont definitely be scammed

The worse business in the travel and business industry.
We not only got a dirty van but the tires were bald and one blew out.
Their helpline was the worse. all foreign and they were rude and eager to drop the ball.
long waits, bad reception.
The only consolation was we got motivated and concerned to help people from renting.
It did involved footwork but so far we saved at least 6 folks from going into rent a car,
Forget the president as a possible contact,
he has buried himself so far into levels of protection, it's just not going to happen.
But there is always a way.
Please don't use this company.
were not fanatics, just average
folks wh got to experience the real deal.

Waited one hour at Austin airport to rent a car due to no capable staff. Every other car rental agency in the car rental facility had no lines!
Never never never use Fox Car Rental!

It took me few clicks to complete the booking on the site and prepay everything! I was happy with my rental car and the service rentalwise provided for us!

I rented a car through rentalwise in Los Angeles and I was very satisfied with the price and service. I got the best deal compared to other providers. Everything was included in the price, which I prepaid on the site. No issues at the rental counter. Rentalwise employees were really kind and helped me with last minute changes. Also, I could speak in my own language (Italian). I would recommend this company!
