6 years warranty BS. Crash replacement BS.
Horrible customer service, it feels like they are operating from a backyard garage. Who is the man behind this company? No customer empathy at all, cold blood company. What is the point of making good design bikes but very fragile frames? Make a favor to yourself, be smart, and don't buy these bikes. Its a trap!!!!

I loved my Canyon Endurace CF SLX road bike but after owning it for only 2 months – I was hit by a truck who ran a stop sign and is (of course) uninsured. I had to get stitches and taken to the ER (had I been a few seconds slower – I could have died) but the worst part was my bike was essentially totaled. Having bought this bicycle from my friend who was the original owner, and having the receipt to prove it, I thought an exception could be made for me to be included in the crash warranty program. I provided all the details and photos of the crash after being 100% honest only to hear back a week later that my only option is to buy the bike brand new at MSRP.
It was highly discouraging and now I am strongly considering switching to a different brand. I knew I was going to have to pay for a new bike but I thought a discount would be offered given the unfair circumstances for myself. I loved my Canyon but receiving the equivalent of a shrug when I wrote about my ordeal is simply cold and upsetting.

I purchased an XS Endurace with SRAM Force for my wife two months ago. Out of the box, the rear inner tube was bad (held air for less than 20 seconds), the front derailleur was not aligned correctly and the rear brake needed to be bled. I replaced the tube, properly aligned the front derailleur and bled the rear brake (significant air in the line!). The bike has performed flawlessly for more than 1500 miles since then. It's a very good bike and I have no hesitation recommending Canyon bikes to others (in fact I have done so numerous times now).
The negligent prep work (minor to me but perhaps significant to others) was no surprise to me as I have purchased more than 20 high-end bikes over the years and even the best shops/retailers let things slip. In fact, only one of the bikes that I have ever purchased through a shop or online retailer (not a bike that I built myself) has arrived to me in flawless condition. That was a Canyon Ultimate with SRAM RED purchased 14 months ago. That bike now has more than 15K miles on it and is still in great shape.
My next bike will likely be a Canyon as will the ones after that. I'm seriously considering the Grail but I want a 2X SRAM RED front end, not the 1X offered. Seriously, big ring for road, little ring for gravel. A perfect set-up! Perhaps I'll buy the frame set and build it up myself.

rECEIVED THE BIKE IN GOOD TIME, exactly as it says on the box. It was flat packed but the rear wheel is fitted and set up. all you have to do is the handle bars and buy some pedals easy peasy. rides really wqell and up hills it eats them for breakfast.
I love it. there is just enough bounce to keep me happy and stiff enough for cc rides all day

Delivery was ahead of schedule and complete. Building and preparing the bicycle was straightforward. Having said that, I am reasonably experienced with bicycles in general…

The bike is great but I have two comments. The specs for the bicycle included a light. The light was not sent with the bike. When I called about this, I was told it was a misprint and Canyon can't send me the light. I did receive an apology and a T-shirt is being sent me. Also, the assembly manual was a bit too generic and the bike parts differed a bit from what the manual described.

I have been thinking about purchasing a Canyon Bike for a while reading reviews and looking at videos online. While not all reviews are 5 Star, I can thoroughly recommend my Spectral 8.0 with Fox shock and fork and Shimano components it really is an unbeatable combo. Super happy with the weight or lack of when the terrain get steeper. The bike is super responsive and playful when you feel like thrashing it hard. An easy 15 out of 10. Shipping and the while purchase process was slick and efficient can鈥檛 rave about Canyon enough.

Recommended by a Navy friend to buy a Canyon, couldn鈥檛 be happier! Since receiving it, I鈥檝e ridden at least 120 miles and couldn鈥檛 be happier! My friend Nick Deschamps was very please with his, told me and another Navy buddy to buy one…so worth the money!
By the way, Hannah was fantastic, she called and emailed me every step of the way! Thank you for supplying me a great, quality bike and thus far, phenomenal customer service!
I鈥檒l be a customer for life!!! Looking forward to buying a mountain bike soon!!

I鈥檇 give 5 stars but I really wanted a Dude CF 9.0 Trail and the 9.0 isn鈥檛 available in the USA anymore. I love my 8.0 that arrived this past weekend. Assembly was easy, instructions great, tools also included. Overall I鈥檓 very happy so far and I鈥檝e been a Specialized bicycle fan until deciding to give Canyon a shot after much research.

Heard back via email- Canyon will not warranty a bottom bracket (frame failure) that broke due to a pedal strike. The bike is suppose to be park rated but can't take a pedal strike on a XC trail? Then insult to injury they offered a "warranty replacement" for the same cost they are selling the frame online for. Telling me its a 20% reduction? What a JOKE

Received a Canyon Exceed SLX and love it. Instructions are present but not needed since it is the 6th Canyon to assemble. Now it only took 30 minutes. The bike itself took only 2 days to deliver. More and more riders of our team Great Oak in Temecula start riding a Canyon's.

WARNING Do not buy a Canyon!! There is no way to give 0* or I would.
Unless you have a spare bike and don鈥檛 want to ride your Canyon then do not buy from them. Problems across the board!
Frame is not aligned anywhere near true to the manufacturing tolerance – crank is miss aligned as a consequence, which means the bike wont hold the gear without grinding away the cassette and to add insult to injury the bike has cheap bottom bracket and pedal arm, not as advertised.
Front brake calliper was sticking, had to remove and ship off for warranty repair, I have to question are the parts even new and tested before shipping.
Rear wheel wasn鈥檛 true, 8 loose spoken when it arrived, tried to tune and the spoke nipped snapped, had to send off for tuning or pay a 3rd party, 6 weeks later still no wheel and no brake. Turns out they are just cheap wheels.
Frame came with chip in the paint work where internal cable routing had damaged the bike. Still managed to pass their supposed rigorous tests.
When I raised a complaint and requested a refund they declined as it was past 30 days even though the bike has been off the road with parts missing the whole time. Customer service take 3/4 days to reply to emails, cannot reach the right department on the phone.
Definitely would never touch Canyon again with a barge poll, bike is in the skip, that鈥檚 all its good for. Definitely would recommend buying a reputable brand from your local dealer.

My new bicycle is great and only delayed by 4 days from the scheduled delivery date due to Covid.
My only complaints are:
– Sizing – there needs to be more help online for people who are near the break in sizing. I bought a medium, in line with the sizing chart, but I really needed a large so had to make adjustments to the bike to get a good fit.
– Tools – my bike came without the small socket set heads so I had to use my own torque driver set to assemble the bike. Annoying for me but potentially a real problem for anyone without a good tool set.
Otherwise the bike rides and feels superb!
