This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. It is unfortunate because I love the site itself, super user friendly. But they charged me for things without notice and refused to provide a receipt for what the charge was for. Then after I canceled my account, I continued to be charged. To contact someone about the charges that appeared AFTER my account was cancelled, I actually had to sign up for a new account (that is the only way you can get a hold of anyone in the company). I am in trouble at work because it was a company account and we need receipts for every purchase and canva REFUSES to provide them. It is unbelievable really how horrible my experience with this company has been. Do not use if you care about unknown charges and dismal customer service.

The link provided by Canva in all their replies to negative Trustpilot reviews is the EXACT SAME LINK they refuse to answer questions on the Canva app. They have no intention of refunding anybody.
I actually thought for a second Canva were going to refund me!!!! How naive of me.

When u contact a company several times and there is no freaking response, only surveys that ask how well they resolved ur issue, your help will not come. Just kiss your money goodbye people. If it had rightly been returned to me i could have really used it for Christmas. So frustrating.

Did a free trial to see if it would work for my school project- deleted my account right after and the account reopens itself every time. Ive been hit with a 119 dollar charge for no reason even though I never subscribed to the service, only a free trial and canceled it right after I decided not to use the website for my work. DO NOT use this website. They will force you into fees you never signed up for and you won't get a notification until it shows up on your bank account activity.

I purchased an image on canva but it's still low-resolution. Over several weeks I had several communications with them, each time receiving a canned the instruction that I had to pay for the image to get it high-res. This has never bene resolved after several months.

I ordered from Canva, and several days later, my DC was hacked into, and hundreds stolen. They are the only place that I can think of that had my card info that I haven't either bought from before, or that I didn't know if I could trust. I am suspicious that they possibly sold my information.
But, I am not pointing fingers, it could very well have been another place. I did get my cards from them, and I am pleased with the product.

I have an account with Canva and pay for canva pro 拢10.99 per month.
This has been up and running since June 2020 but for some reason the last 3 months i have been charged two separate fees, one being taken on the 7th and one on the 15th. One says it is from https and the other says camden de us.
However, the only have record of an account and invoices raised on the 15th.
I have emailed three times now and i have received nothing.
This has resulted in me having to cancel my subscription for Canva pro and now i dont have access to the facilities which i need for my business and also i still dont know how to cancel the other payment i am getting on the 7th of each month.
Horrific service and i will now be contacting my bank to stop any further payments.

Beware if you are considering using this company. My real estate team has used Canva for several years and sadly, we are just learning that their customer service is non-existent. We recently had an unfortunate situation with multiple files/designs being deleted and it's remained unresolved for over a month despite our expressed urgency. We have filed an issue report via the website countless times and corresponded with a vague named rep, who offered no answers and now doesn't even respond to any update requests. All we get is that "It's been escalated." Of course, there's no phone number to reach an actual person. Some response, either way, would be expected as a customer given the deletion of files that we need desperate help retrieving and no one gets back to us. You realize the true support a company has when something goes wrong. Even though we are paying customers, they have not been at all helpful. We have waited patiently and are now going to have to pay a 3rd party to recreate files that should be available in a server from a company that houses all our graphic design files. We will have to stop using this company unless a quick resolution is offered.
Update: As soon as we posted this we started receiving emails from Canva but again, now over 2 months into our issue, we still have no resolution. I've been contacted by half a dozen people with the same email address. Each one tells me how it's been escalated… for 2 months

I got an email from this company saying we are going to charge you 拢100 to renew your subscription for one year. I have never used this company but they had the correct card info to charge my bank account. They have no customer service number or email listed on their site. I tried to contact them via Facebook and Twitter as they have no problem manning their social media. But no one would respond. I had to report my card as stolen to avoid their charge.

This led me to a message board where I left the requested info and got a recorded, stock response directing me to the same help page where I've been leaving help tickets for almost 2 months. On the message board itself, they went dark, and again no one responded.

This site is extremely valuable and got a lot of free stuff for basic graphic designers which don't know much about photoshop. I've seen some instagram marketing influencers creating content on canva which was really amazing and I was amazed that one of them created his content only using canva and he reached from 0-10K followers within no time.
The reviews regarding money deduction from cards is a very sorry to hear about. Well I suggest readers of my comment not to go for paid content because canva provides you a ton of it for free.
Almost all your basic marketing, designing, social media requirement are fullfilled by canva.
I personally am enjoying it a lot.
Let's hope for good from canva.

I had a subscription for a short time, before cancelling over a year ago. Despite repeated attempts to contact them they have continued to take monthly payments. My account and that of my wife both show we have no active subscription. I have contacted my bank and still the payments continue.

I signed up for the free trial of Canva and found that it was difficult to use and was not much different from Power Point. I cancelled my subscription and then 2 weeks later I got an email from them that I was about to be billed for a Canva Pro subscription. I thought that maybe I did not fully cancel my subscription since the cancellation process intentionally lengthy and complicated. So I cancelled my account again and got to the page that confirmed that my account was cancelled. However, this week I was charged for a Canva Pro subscription! I tried reaching out to Canva a few times to resolve the issue but have received no response. I would recommend avoiding this company because even if you cancel you will still get billed.

We used Canva once but when we went to shut down our account we were unable to, as somehow the account was under an out of date email address, which was super odd. After being charged $20 per month for several months and multiple messages to Canva customer service, I had to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. Poor customer care from Canva.
